After waiting for a few seconds than opened the door to the library and walked in making sure to duck his head to prevent hitting his horn. Once inside Apolyon looked at the room. filled with ponys and books, Predictable. He pulled out the letter he had gotten and read it again to make sure he was in the right place, he was. Apolyon then decided to start looking at the books in the library. He tried to blend in (Witch is hard for a unusually large pony) by finding a book and starting to read it.

Amour smiled and grabbed a book that was pink from cover to cover and the title said something along the lines of 'Unicorns Guide to Bath Bubbles and Salts'.

"Hey, I dunno. Some of these books are pretty cool." She responded in the same wry tone.

She paused and got serious for a moment. "And I wish twelve elements didn't have to be discovered and things were still...The same." She muttered, putting the book back on the shelf, but brightening up again when she noticed a book with a bright blue cover. "Oh! I've been looking for this book forever!" She squealed, grabbing it and flipping it open.

Lyona chuckled at Armour's response. I like her. 

 

 

 

"And I wish twelve elements didn't have to be discovered and things were still...The same."

 

" I bet every single pony in Equestria wishes that. But, things change. Sometimes for the worse." The pegasus said, thinking of the death of the original elements of harmony. She hadn't known any of them that much, but had talked to a couple of them. They were nice ponies... 

 

" What's that book about?" She asked, trying to get her mind of those somber thoughts.

Amour's eyes widened when the mare asked about her book. "It's um..." She blushed and glanced around before leaning close and whispering. "It's a romance story about a solemn earth pony named Finley who moves to Canterlot and befriends and soon falls in love with a high class unicorn named Astro Flash. And this is the issue where they um..." She shut up quickly and did an awkward little charade with her hooves. "Do the do." She finally said when she realized her little 'charade' didn't really portray much.

 

She then waited for the widened eyes and the 'O' of surprise or possible snort of disgust. Most ponies didn't even know books like the one she held in her hooves existed.

" Like Fifty Shades of Hay, right?" Lyona said in a low voice, struggling not to laugh. Heh, she behaves as if nopony knows about the thing. Still, books like that are pretty rare. Must be why she's like that.

 

" Some ponies like stranger things. I'm not into that kind of stuff, but if you are, I can't stop you." She shrugged.

"So, how do you think they're going to figure out who the twelve elements are?" She asked, suddenly. That question had been circing the back of her mind for awhile. "Oh! And I'm Amour by the way!"

" I couldn't read that book at all, even if I tried. It lost me after the first couple of chapters." Lyona said, a hint of disgust on her face. And they put it in the young adult's section too! I blame my friend from forcing me to read it...

 

 

 

"So, how do you think they're going to figure out who the twelve elements are?" She asked, suddenly. That question had been circing the back of her mind for awhile. "Oh! And I'm Amour by the way!"

 

" Tests? It must involve a test of some kind... I'd be surprised if that wasn't the case. I wonder when the pony in charge is going to arrive... It's been an hour already." Lyona grumbled. Hopefully she doesn't take too long... I don't like waiting. 

 

" Huh?" Lyona was snapped out of her thoughts. " Oh! I'm Lyona. We've been talking this whole time and didn't know each other's names? Sheesh, I'm featherbrained today. Anyways, nice to meet you."

Sweet Symphony had been singing for an hour. The birds had loved her voice and she had been glad to sing for them. Now, she took her map out and looked for the destination. After figuring out a route, she made her way. There were a few shadows lurking in the edges of her vision, but she tried to ignore them as she walked along.

 

((I think Firecrakcer's gonna die of excitement at how many ponies there are. SO MANY, even for her))

 

Firecracker and Color Spark had taken the... scenic route. Now, they walked up to the library, and knocked on the door. The were greeted by a mare with a metallic blue coat and blonde hair who introduced herself as Blue Bell, and they entered. Firecracker beamed and let out a squeal of delight as she saw how many ponies there were. She darted over to some random mare and shook her hoof.

"Hi! I'm Firecracker! Who're you?" she grinned at the pony. Color Spark rolled her colorful eyes and slowly made her way over as well.

((We meet again... lol))

 

 

Sunny Dew noticed the time and decided to get moving. She trotted to the lobby and went up to theguards who were assigned to go with her to the library, Golden Dawn and Night Dart.

"Are you ready?" she asked the two Pegasi. Night Dart nodded.

Fire Sharp looked up from a book she had picked up after her tolerance with talking stopped. Though she felt better now and the bright Pegasus definitely had her attention.

"Hello Ma'am, I'm Fire Sharp. Nice to meet you."

Fire was kind of hesitant with what she was saying but the pony was so bright that she couldn't just keep quiet.

"Nice to meet you too!" Firecracker beamed at the mare, before going off to talk to smepony else. Color Spark trotted up to the Unicorn.

"Hi, I'm Color Spark, Firecracker's sister. Sorry if she startled you or bothered you, she gets excited when she meets new ponies."

 

Meanwhile, Fire had gone up to a light yellow Pegasus.

"Hi! I'm Firecracker! Me and my sis Sparky are here to hear about the new Elements! I bet that's why you're here too~! Oh,you look like my other sister Supernova! Oh, what's your name?" she barely took any breaths as she  started excitedly shaking the mare's hoof.

Meanwhile, as Winter was busy researching about the new Elements, more ponies started more conversations. He then started to think if he should strike a conversation with somepony as well. He looks around seeing that most of the ponies are already talking to someone, so he keeps on studying on the new Elements and maybe somepony will just approach him sooner or later.

" My name's Lyona. Nice to meet you too." Lyona took her hoof back from the mare. Ow. She sure has a lot of energy. How does she even breathe? 

 

" And if you don't mind, please don't shake my hoof so hard next time. I feel like it's going to fall off." She said in a joking tone.

"Hi Lyona!" Firecracker beamed. Two nice ponies already! Though she had not come to make friends, she loved to anyway, and what did it hurt? 

Lyona's joking tone went right over her head. "Oh! Okay! I'm gonna go meet some other ponies! Bye~!"

And with that, she flew into the air, scanned the room, and spotted a particular stallion who seemed tobe a bit lonely. She dove down and hovered a bit behind him. She had a little idea, and went with it, even though it was a ditz moment. She covered his eyes from behind playfully.

"Guess who!"

It finally ocurred to her that they had never met, and she lifted her hooves and landed in front of him..

"Oh wait! you don't know me and I don't know you yet! Well, why not start knowing each other! I'm Firecracker!"

Chamois glanced around at the ponies as they chatted and messed about.  Chamois lowered her head and sighed quietly as she walked further into the library.  She found a beanbag to sit on and slumped down onto in.

I wonder if these ponies are here because of the letter?  Either way, I hope I won't be waiting hours.

Winter jumps a little when his vision turned completely black then holds onto the person's hooves trying to take them off. As soon as his vision came back, he looked behind and sees no pony, then jumps again hearing a loud thud of hooves then looks at the pony standing in front of him. He giggles and smiles holding onto his chest. He gets back his composure and breathes out then starts to talk normally, "Hello there, nice to meet you Firecracker... I'm Winter Chill." He holds out his hoof seeing if the mare will take hoofshake.

Firecracker grinned and shook his hoof excitedly, but tried to mind Lyona's request and pass it on to others.

"Hi Winter Chill! Watcha readin'? Oh, and are you here about the Elements too? that's why my sis Sparky and I are here! Oh, that's Sparky over there-" she pointed a bright red hoof at her sister. "She didn't wanna come but I convinced her!"

Winter chuckles looking at how much she's shaking his hoof and smiles. "Yeah, I uhhh... I'm also here because of the Elements. I got a letter so I had to rush here from Canterlot." He looks at the mare pointing at somepony saying that it's her sister. "Well.. It seemed important, so I rushed here too and it's good that you convinced her to come." He smiles seeing the mare still shaking his hoof and giggles looking at the mare. "You can stop now."

Amour grinned, "Yeah sometimes I get a little excited and forget my manners!" She laughed, "Nice to meet you, Lyona!" She was about to say something about the tests when another mare came up, to Lyona and shook her hoof vigorously. She stepped back in surprise at the newcomers energy. The newcomer flew off without even greeting her, but she chalked it up to excitement and held no hard feelings.

"Hope those tests aren't for wit," She said to Lyona, "Not that I'm dumb as a bag of rocks or anything, but intelligence tests aren't my forte. Cake baking however--Oh I'm a baker by the way! A wedding cake designer and baker to be exact. What do you do?"

" I'm currently a pet shop worker. It's a nice job, although the dogs don't like me as much as the cats." Lyona wrinkled her nose. She took a moment to think.

 

" And I'm also a feline specialist. Which basically means if there's a problem with cats, big or small, I'm the one who's going to deal with it. Manticores included. " I even had one as a pet once... But I let it go. Lyona thought, deciding to not say it out loud. She might think I'm some kind of really crazy cat lady. Although I had a friend who was...

"Okay!" Firecracker let go of his hoof and stood there, still grinning. 

"So, you're from Canterlot? Coool~! Sparky and I have been there! Eveer seen some of the fireworks they have at their celebrations and festivals? Well, that's us! My talent is making fireworks and stuff and Sparky's is making the colors and brightness of things change, so we work together!"

While everyponies conversations were going on, the little blind Pegasus was walking around the library, getting a good feel at where everything is. Occasionally, Moon would bump into a table or almost knock over a bookshelf, but in 10 minutes or so, she had the place covered. The only thing to do was listen to where all the other ponies were, so she didn't run into them.

Eventually, Moon took a seat on the floor, next to where the entrance was and waited for Sunny Dew to arrive. Man this would be an exciting moment for her, but she never lost any faith in knowing if she would be chosen or not.

Your sister and yourself must have a really strong bond on each other, since you both have to work together to get the job done fast and properly. Well, for me, I'm just a regular resident pony. Nothing special, really." He then looks at the time and scratches his mane, "When do you think this ... "meeting" ... will start..?"

"Yup! we're super close and we've been working together since we got our cutie marks! We got them at the exact same time, so we knew we were supposed to work together!" 

"A student? That's okay! Even if somepony doesn't do much, it doesn't make them any less special or important!" Firecracker said, It was her motto, in a way.

She looked around after his next question. "I dunno. Maybe when the Princess gets here. Have you ever met Sunny Dew?"

He looks about seeing a bunch of other ponies talking to each other and looks at her giggling, "You've really got a lot of energy in you... And I'm guessing you met, if not all, most of the ponies here too."

There were some books here that Midnight hasn't read. He needed to do something that would shorten the wait, after all it was something important so he couldn't leave. 

Midnight came across a magic related book he hasn't seen before titled "High level conjuration. Now or never."

"Well, that's an interesting title. I guess I'll read it through while we're waiting."
