Howard Stern interviews from BronyCon 2013

As much as I hate him, here at 10min I'd have to way the woman doing the show with him is a bigger dick, he seems to be at least trying to be a little more civil than than last time(abet, failing), but she's getting pretty insulting at scattered points. 

 

After finishing the video and taking a minute metaphorically barf out the crippling depression it caused, I have a couple points to make. 

 

He's a a horrible journalist, his questions and choices of interview-es it pretty much designed to seek out the "colorful" attendees of the con and confirm his bias. 

 

He's also a hypocrite, he's judging people harshly and looking down on them, when a glance at his TVtropes page is all it takes to show that he's no saint himself. He's admitted on the air some of the freaky stuff he's into.  

 

Also, something about the woman that called at the end and kissed his ass rubbed me the wrong way, I have my suspicions that was scripted to give him a segway into is little rant about how wrong and sick bronies are.

It's Howard Stern. The only reason he's on the air is because he's a dick.

 

The things he and the woman that's with him say are pretty hateful, though. He only interviews the cloppers, then makes fun of them. When he interviews people that don't clop, he makes fun of them, too. I actually find the woman to be worse than Howard with her insults.

 

I also don't get why the cloppers would tell them that they clop, and wish that they would keep it to themselves.

I do know what your talking about though, last time, he interviewed people and fans who watch pony porn.

 

It was wrong, messed up, and a total disrespect towards fans everywhere.

I doubt it's fake, but certainly they only selected certain clips to share to mock bronies. It wasn't really all that bad, though. Robin was making fun of them more so than Howard, overall.

 

Howard also just isn't going to care if he upsets bronies. He only cares about providing entertainment to his listeners, so he can maintain his fanbase and keep the money rolling in. For all we know, he could be supportive of the bronies that are more "normal" according to society's view, but he's not going to show that, because it doesn't matter. He only squeezed in that bit about BronyCon because of entertainment purposes. His listeners aren't going to be entertained with "I don't agree with this, but I'm also not going to say anything negative about it." The mocking of others is and always will be something that entertains others. That is why shows such as South Park and Family Guy are popular amongst people. And yes, I know it's a bit different in those cases, because it's less serious, but that's not the point I'm going after.

 

The only thing I can say is "get over it." It's stupid to even get upset over such a thing.
