The Circus appears mysteriously at night. Nopony sees it arrive, and there is no mention of. it is simply there. in a carved fence are the words

 

OPENS AT DUSK

CLOSES AT DAWN

 

What kind of circus is only open at night? passersby wonder. Such a mysterious circus only draws the attention of ponies, and at sundown, a massive gathering of ponies stands as the gates. The dozens of black and white tents inside remain motionless while whispers among the ponies grow.

 

behind the gate are the performers, only the most talented ponies in equestria. They practice their acts and await the gates to open.

 

(This RP is based on the book "The Night Circus", and I highly suggest reading it, because its awesome)

 

Sign up below to be part of the act. there are no specific acts I am looking for, the more creative and magnificent the better! theres no limit to how many characters there can be, but I ask that you keep characters played by one person to a minimum to keep things simple.

 

Rules:

-No Mary Sues, DERP

-I will allow alicorns, BUT NO OVERPOWERED ONES. I will let you know if I find them to be too powerful

-appropriate language. I dont mind swears, but any insulting language will be taken seriously

-Keep it PG 13. No sexy tiems

please post what you would like your act to be, and you can have an act with multiple ponies as well

I would like to join this. I have two OC's, one of which is an alicorn. If you would like I can make her younger so that she's not as evil as she usually is.

For this one her perfect aim and sharp shooting can be her act. Shooting things with accuracy and such, maybe even I tie in with Stardust Who will have an act where she'll stop things at high speed or age things or something else.

I haven't read the book, but I'd like to join the RP! Could I join with either Zatiko or Sprocket? Zatiko is a zebra, and he would most likely be a fantastic beasts tamer or the like. Sprocket could definitely pull off a fire-swallower or something else equally dangerous.

I can't really be specific on acts or anything like that. It could be something involving speed and flight. Blast can create tornadoes and such, but he could make them smaller if he wanted to. He also has an incredible amount of agility skill, so he could do an acrobatic-type act. Doesn't really matter what it is. Light is a powerhouse and strongman as well.

I haven't been to a real circus since I was wee little lad. I can't really think of too many cool or stunning things that involve that

yes she is a mare, but she's younger than what you've previously seen her. So about in her 100's, she like in that stage where she feels that she has to be old and that because she may look young she just a little over a hundred.
