Here's the dealio. So I'm going to start a tournament with some special rules. The objective is to win, but there's a twist. Rules follow:
 
1. This tournament will be hosted by Swordpoint, my main OC. He is seeking a pony worthy of training from him.
 
2. Lethal force is strongly discouraged. If you use unnecessary force, Swordpoint will not recognize you as a worthy pony. He will also face you in battle and try to kill you.
 
3. Don't godmod. Duh.
 
4. One action per turn. State what your character does and give the opponent a chance to respond. You cannot assume that your attack hits; you must say that you attempted the attack and allow your opponent to respond accordingly. There is a three strike rule against this: break this rule three times, and you will be disqualified.
 
5. Don't go super OP. If you're being OP, you will be warned up to three times. After the third warning, you will lose by default and will be ejected.
 
6. Don't try to add your own stuff onto the story. It doesn't go any deeper than what I've said. Swordpoint is a righteous pony, and he is not plotting some super secret scheme for world domination.
 
7. If at any time Swordpoint feels that your character is evil in nature, he will fight you. He doesn't tolerate evil, and his sole mission in life is to eliminate oppression and hatred. He's a nice guy and he'll try to show mercy, but if you're a total douche, he'll kill you. I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE EVIL OCS FROM JOINING THIS TOURNAMENT, AS THEY WILL BE KILLED OFF.
 
If you dislike the rules, don't join. If you think you like the sound of it, go for it.
 
There are 16 spots. There will be 8 prelims, 4 regular matches, 2 semi-finals, 1 final, and then an ultimate match again Swordpoint. Regardless of whether or not you win the match against Swordpoint, he will still train you. It's a way of truly testing your skill against an opponent who can adapt to different situations.
