ColtofPersonality 855 September 4, 2013 Share September 4, 2013 Back in my day, we paid for gas with the change in our pockets! It was 1963, the skirts weren't mini just yet, but each day more and more leg was shown, on the account it was summer. But anyway, gas was only 34 cents a gallon, which was the same size milk wasn't sold as, so we picked up 4 gallons of gas for our trip to Spittle county for a pint. That had to be the worst conversion ever: four gallons to a Pint, but thankfully we had to drink the pint, and not the gallons 'cuz that would get real messy, not mention gasoline's toxic, but thank fully we kept the metric system up north in the frozen hell known as Canada. I love maple syrup. 3 Look in my eyes...what do you see? The ColtOf Personality.

Abstract 832 September 5, 2013 Share September 5, 2013 (edited) Once upon a time, there were these magical little boxes with a magnetic tape-like substance wound around two spools; if you so happened to put these boxes inside a particular bigger box, they bestowed upon thine the wondrous ability to hear music, or perhaps see a moving picture - with sound! They were rugged and long lasting; never became scratched, and no matter the circumstance, if one were to, say, take these little boxes out of their big box, they always remembered exactly where you last left off! Some of you may be asking yourselves; what ever were these unbelievable marvels of technology? Well Perhaps next time this old fart is in the mood, I'll spin y'all a yarn about these little sqaures, almost as thin as paper and just as floppy, that you could just pop in to a computer, and use them to transfer any kind of information you wanted to another, lickety-split! Oh, those were glorious times... EDIT: Someday I'll learn to use the spoiler tags correctly... Wingnut 6,991 September 5, 2013 Share September 5, 2013 In my day, ColecoVision was the hot new home videogame system. It was just like the arcade! If you wanted to visit a casino in the United States, you had two places to go: Las Vegas or Atlantic City. And Atlantic City was a brand new gambling mecca as casinos were only allowed in 1978. I remember when the great environmental concern was global cooling!

Double Jump 9 September 6, 2013 Share September 6, 2013 Back in my day, all these gol dern video game franchisers were jus' gettin' started. Almost everythin' was a new IP, fresher 'n me ma's baked cookies. We didn't need them internets to tell us what ter buy 'cause there were so many good 'uns out there. Nowadays, there aren't many new franchisers and when there are, they're worser 'n prune juice n' bran flakes for breakfas' on yer birthday. Where have the good ol' days gone off to? I dun wanna pay money fer DLC that should'a been on the game in 'a firs' place. I dun wanna play competitive multiplayer all 'a time. I wanna game I can enjoy fer months by me-self or with me bridge crew, not some reskinned FPS ya haff ter buy every year. Don't even get me started on achievables n' trophers. Some a' them Japanese games look ok if they ain't made by Nintender, but they either got bad voice actin' or too much text. My vision's not what it used ter be, so I dun wanna read or watch cutscenes ter play a game. Even though kids these days need ter respect their elders, Bethesder should make a new RPG that isn't Elder Scrolls or Fallout. I shoulda been asleep 5 hours ago.
