Pinkamena was in a state of pure shock when she listened to the story Equinox had told her. She put her hoof over her mouth he was done. "I'm so sorry. Pinkamena closed the door behind her when she left the room. She turned around and put her hoof up to the doorhandle to go back in, but she stopped and slowly put it back down. She gave the door one last look and started to head downstairs. She walked into the kitchen and grabbed some food out of the cupboard to eat.

Equinox took a deep breath before he noticed something. "Why is she crying" Equinox asked as he watched and saw she was holding a piece of paper and she sent it. Equinox then gained a letter and opened. "Dear Equinox. My sister Luna has told me about you and your past and I'm sorry about what happened if- -" Equinox stopped reading and threw the letter to the ground. "You did know but you did nothing...you damn apology is worthless" Equinox said as he made the rifle disappear

Pinkamena finished eating supper and decided to head down to check out Equinox's worksmanship on Arachnid's stuffed corpse. She headed down into the basement and went up to Arachnid's corpse and examined it over. "Hmmm... Not bad, but could use some touching up." She said as she began fixing and cleaning up odds and ends on the corpse.

Equinox wrote the princess back the letter said. "Really cause it didnt seem like it when you just watched. You think I can just forgive you when you did NOTHING, No I won't unless you have a good reason as to why then buck off princess" Equinox sent the letter to her and sighed. "She better have a good reason"

Pinkamena just kept nitpicking at Arachnid's corpse until she stopped and was satisfied with the results. "There. That's better." She said as she smiled at the trimmed and groomed corpse. She then started to clean her tools and put them away. After she was done, she went back upstairs to go and relax on the couch. When she got upstairs, she went over to the couch and sprawled out on it, laying on her back.

Equinox received another letter and opened. "I would like to tell you during the next Grand Galloping Gala if thats okay" Equinox wrote back saying fine before sending it. "If she doesnt have a good reason then Celestia should be a princess no more" Equinox said as he layed on the bed.

As she was sprawled out on the couch, the day had finally gotten to her. Even though it was still early, she was dead-tired from the day she had. She had contemplated the whole day and smiled. It had been a good day. She kept thinking of all the things that have happened and she dozed off to sleep on the couch.

"Luna...Please tell me Celestial has a good reason for doing nothing" Equinox said as he closed his eyes and started to doze off. "Next day...will be calm and nothing will bother anypony..." Equinox muttered as he fell asleep. "Well this day was odd" Twilight said as she was reading a book about demons.

Scootaloo woke up and rubbed her eyes while yawning. "I must have fallen asleep while waiting." She said as she started to look around and almost jumped out of her bed. "How did I get in my room? Must of been carried up here by Pinkamena when she got home." She said to herself as she went and opened the curtain. The sun was just barely peeking over the horizon, so it must be really early in the morning. She then left her room and went downstairs. On her way to get breakfast, she saw Pinkamena passed out on the couch. She then walked quietly to the kitchen.

Equinox woke up yawning and used magic to look and see the sun before closing the curtains. "Another day...normal I hope...I would like it to be relaxing for once no problems or anything trying to kill us" Equinox said as he left the room and casted a spell to make his hoof steps silent

Scootaloo went over to the pantry and grabbed a couple packets of oatmeal out of a box and started to prepare it. She poured the packets into a pot with some water and put it on the stove. She turned the stove on and went back out of the kitchen to check on Pinkamena. She walked out of the kitchen and saw Pinkamena was still sleeping. She heard a door open and looked up the stairs to see what caused it to open.

Equinox saw Pinkamena asleep and Scootaloo awake. "Morning Scootaloo" Equinox whispered making no noise as he kept going down the steps. "Surprised you're awake we saw you asleep so I took you to bed you seemed really tired" Equinox whispered loud enough for Scootaloo to hear

A smile enveloped Scootaloo's face the moment she saw Equinox coming down the stairs. She squeed and went over to Equinox, giving him a hug. "I thought you were going to go home when you got back yesterday, so I waited for you guys to get back. But, I guess I fell asleep before that happened. Thank you for carrying me to bedn" she whispered happily.

"Its no problem" Equinox whispered as he went to the fridge and pulled out eggs, bacon, sausage, and various herbs and onions. "I'm going to cook breakfast" Equinox said as he cracked a few eggs and heated the stove up before putting butter in the pan and spreading it out on the pan. He then put an egg on the pan. "Making scrambled and sunny side up eggs with chopped bacon and some sausage"

"Sounds delicious." Scootaloo said to Equinox. She then went and grabbed a container from a cabinet and went to the stove to dump her oatmeal into the container. She sealed the lid and put it in the fridge. She thought that she would just eat it tomorrow for breakfast instead of today.

While Equinox was waiting for the eggs he started chopping up some bacon and placing it on another pan so it an cook. He then poured the bowl of eggs on top of the bacon covering it and let it sit before flipping the eggs. Equinox made three scrambled eggs along with three sunny side up eggs and started cooking the sausage.

Scootaloo decided that, while she was waiting for Equinox to finish making breakfast, she went upstairs to the bathroom to take a quick shower.

 

Pinkamena slowly woke up, stretching and yawning. She looked around and chuckled, realizing she fell asleep on the couch. She stood up and noticed a waft of scent coming from the kitchen. She walked over and went into kitchen. "What's cookin'." She asked as she walked in.

Equinox just finished making everyponies plate when Pinkamena walked in. "Well for breakfast its Scrambled eggs with bacon cooked in, sunny side up eggs, and sausage" Equinox said as he cleaned up the kitchen a bit. "Anyways...I was invited to see Celestia my self during the Grand Galloping Gala by the princess herself...she want to talk to me about what happened and why she didnt do anything" Equinox said as he gave Pinkamena her plate

"Mmm, yum." Pinkamena said as she took her plate and went and sat at the table. She continued to listen to Equinox talking about how Celestia had asked him to meet with her at the Grand Galloping Gala in order to talk with him. Pinkamena gave him a slightly puzzled look. "I thought you hated eachother, but I guess she wants to make up now." She said as she started to eat her food.
