InvaderShy 18 September 17, 2013 Share September 17, 2013 It's obvious that many of us would like to be friends of ponies if it was possible. But, would ponies accept humans as their friends? Or their friendships would be exclusive only for other ponies? Spike is a dragon and friend of the Mane 6, the only exception considering ponies dislike the rest of the dragons or they just have fear of them. So, despite our defects and appearance, would the ponies like to have a human friend or not? Would friendly ponies like Pinky Pie consider us like their friends? For this, I need you to consider only the ponies' point of view about what is friendship for them. You can even answer from the point of your favorite pony explaining why if you consider it necessary. No matter if it is a princess, a filly, a background pony, a mare or whatever. Sure, there are enemies, but I doubt a human would be one . I'm sure humans would make great friends with earth ponies. The human body would prove great co-workmanship with ponies. The amount of new things that Humans could bring is astounding. That, of course, doesn't mean that we would polute the planet right away or anything... That theory is much overrated... Humans are relatively friendly themselves, and we can adapt to changes quite well... History has taught us pretty much that humans deny things that are different, that's one reason for war but I don't want to go into that right now. As for the ponies, I suppose they would not mind at all making friends with a human, there might even be some interest since they never really saw any humans before, therefore I think, it is very high-likely. We'll never know because the world of Equestria and its ponies aren't real (sorry for being the bearer of bad news you overzealous bronies out there in cyberspace). Forgive me for being so blunt but it's true. Even so, i don't want to be a debbie downer so I'll give my second answer. I don't view it as impossible for a pony to befriend a human. Not all of us are horrible creatures. I mean look at Spike from MLP. He isn't pony in any shape or form and he's a good friend of the Mane Six. Sure, there are people who would hate ponies for several reasons but they are not the majority. Same goes for ponies too. Afterall, man's best friend is a non-human too (Dogs). Humans have varies ways of driving you straight off the deep end. There ideals, their habits (good and bad), so forth and so on. Ponies don't seem to have that many bad influences. Their surrounded by a well of positive reinforcement. Humans are known as pretty heartless and deceptive creatures so trying to have a pony have a human as a friend would be pretty difficult to do.
