It was nice and cool outside (stayed in the 30s most of the day!) and I got to see my sister's baby. 30-50 is my favorite temperature range; layered clothing is ridiculously comfortable in my opinion. I was on vacation in NYC this last January right in the middle of their cold spells (the weather breaks were timed perfectly with my flight in and out of the city), absolutely loved it.
