Have you ever done something really kind for no reason at all? I mean just out of the blue helped some pony out and never wanted anything for it? Well I do everyday of my life, if more ponies did what I did maybe the world would be better off.

Not more then 10mins ago a man at my work was saying he was going to lose his house because they wont pay him in tell next week, I asked how much does he need. He said 200 at least. I gave him 340. He said Thank you! and I'll pay you back! I said You already did by saying "Thank you".

When homeless people ask for a dollar I give them 20, when I was at the store a few day ago a woman couldn't pay for everything so I paid for all of it. When me and my wife split up I gave her the house, the car everything other the my MLP stuff because she didn't want it, if she did I would have gave it to her.

Now all those things I did in 3weeks, now I have been around this earth for 23years everyday I try my best to make the earth a better place for all, even those who hate me. I'm not saying do what I do, which is give up anything you own for anyone who needs it but try and help each other please.

So please tell me what acts of kindness have you done? I really would love to hear them because truth be told that's what keeps me going, knowing that there is some good still in this world.

A man was out and while he was preparing to leave he was putting his dog in the cage.

As he left, he didn't realize that the dog had pawed his way out so he could chase his master.

The dog ran out into the street and I saw it.

I thought, hey he shouldn't be out...

Then as the dog started to run towards me there was a car coming 70 mph down the road and the driver was on the cell phone.

I jumped and pushed the dog out the road before the car came and saved its life.

The driver happened to be the owner.

He started to cry thanking me, saying how his dog was the only thing left good in his life.

He offered me a reward, I declined it. Him being brought to tears for the love of his dog was enough reward in itself.

@, you weren't just on /b/ by any chance? They had a thread just like this haha.

As for me, my new year's pledge was to be super-nice to everyone. I used to be really rude, so it's been nice seeing the big difference a little kindness can make.

well, I usually try to make people talk.

I try to befriend people that seems to have problems with talking and being almost isolated.

(being alone is the worst punisment a human can get, lonelyness hurts people.)

made a few friends that way. (even though it is not my business, it just do not feel right to not help.)

Though i don't do much else at all.

I had half my face bitten off by a dog. The doctor and all the nurses in hospital told me to take legal action and have the dog be put down (lethal injection).
I declined. I btw. have never seen the owner, but he offered me some pain-money. I declined that aswell.

I have randomly decided to join the local mountaineering rescue crew.

A old man collapsed on the street ( i have no idea why.) , hit his head pretty hard and i helped him. ( this shocked me btw. because everyone was just standing around watching. This was in the middle of a market. there were like 100 people just staring not doing anything)

Just helping random people in the munich-subway, when they seem lost or dont understand german is a fun thing to do.

I just try to help everyone i can, because thats what i would like people to do, when i have a problem. Set an example by being one.

You say that like it's some small, insignificant thing.  Please believe me when I say that it's not.  If they're at all like myself, it's a really meaningful gesture that confirms that someone else actually does know about them, and does care.  I wish that I had the courage to do what you say you're doing, but unfortunately I'm one of those people who's uncomfortable talking with others...

As for me, I'm honestly not too good at the 'random' part of random acts of kindness.  If someone asks me for help, I'm absolutely obligated to do so (which makes me quite easy to take advantage of...), but otherwise, I just sort of deal with my own problems.  I can't even really think of an example of when I performed a random act of kindness...  It probably has something to do with the above-mentioned problem of being asocial.  That trait never really does seem to work in my favor...

Today on the bus I tried to help out. A man in a wheelchair was getting on, so I went to fold up the appropriate seats to make room for him. I couldn't figure out how to work the latches and ended up looking kind of silly. It made me feel good though when the driver came back and said I was blessed because at least I tried.

Hmmmmm, well tomorrow Im going to a charity baseball tournament to volunteer helping out. A friend of my moms is pretty sick, so we're all helping out :) I'm sure I do nice things every day, I just cant remember them right now. usually just little things. I live in Canada, where its law to be nice to everyone so I dont have a choice D:

This was just yesterday. I was walking around the neighborhood, trying to get some exercise in and I walked into this little park near my house. There was a bunch of trash everywhere. It was weird, I really didn't care and I generally don't like others seeing my soft side but I felt the urge to just clean it up. So I did, while these 3 women watched me. It was embarrassing but eh, the park is clean now.
