  1. Lol so I'm pretty sure this topic gets asked a lot, seeing as how everyone wants to make music these days. Anyone got a good basic tutorial for making progressive house/ electro/ club music in fl studio? Lol I got the demo version not to Long ago just to get a feel for it. It seems relating easy, but I'd like some extensive help. Making music is a passion of mine, and I do intend to "make it" one day. Anyhelp is appreciated. Thanks in advance anyone.
  2. With season 4 six days Away, I wanted to know what you guys are thinking about it so far. With the various trailers hinting that something epic is Gona go down, I personally can't wait. What I'm afraid of though is that everyone's expectations will be to high from the let down some of you think season 3 was. Anyways, what does everyone think about it? What are your expectations? Are they high or just about normal? If the story turns out to be anything like EqG I might just have to stop watching it.
  3. In order to make a good movie you need money. Money builds sets, boom mics, the use of songs in movies from producers, lighting, filming equipment, and animation programs. That's why most movies that are made wxpect to make a revenue of about 3 million+ because the spend 2 mil building everything and getting it prepared. And that's just for equipment. You still have to hire actors, make up artists, clothing specialist etc. it can be very stressful time consuming and cost a ton of money to make a movie, and it still amazes me how dedicated bronies are because there's a shit ton of live action short films out there based on MLP. We have such dedication.
  4. Ever since I've joined the brony community, I've been more understanding of homosexuality and the struggle homosexuals have to deal with in order to be accepted in society. Damn all these mane 6 shippings. I think applejack and vinyl scratch's personality are hot. Idk, I just can't explain it, but they are everything I want in a girl. The music bronies make has inspired me to go to college for musical design. Everyone thinks I'm going just for the career, when In reality it's because of Pones. Oh, and I also think fluttershys personality is attractive. Maybe because I like domination over a shy girl, but hey that's just me.
  5. The whole fic is basically like this. A man who has no purpose in his life needs something to keep him going. He's in a run down town, works at a dead end job and his parents are dead, an he has no close immediate family. One day he's walking the streets and finds a little girl I'm the box, he has no idea were she came from, or who she is, but he couldn't leave her alone so he saves her from the streets. Years pass and he realizes that the girl he saved has become the best thing in his life. It's practically his own daughter. He teaches her to read, write, ride a bicycle math etc. After 15-16 some odd years, she sees a missing girl report on tv. She finds out that she was the missing girl, and that her real parents are actually celebrities, and she also finds out that her care taker has been hiding this from her all her life. Distraught and confused she runs away. The man goes out chasing after her, saddened by his decision of never telling the truth to her. Eventually he finds her, they reconcile, and life returns to normal for awhile. Then on her 19th birthday, her celebrity parents track her down to the house they were currently living in and take her back, ripping the daughter from the care taker forcing him to forget her. Now ponify it, and you get my little dashie. That's what my little dashie is. A ponified version of this. Anyway, that's what I mean by it. It won't be in pony form if they do something like MLD on youtube. It will be in human form. The animation aspect of it will be the hardest no doubt, and budget will also be another problem, so unless they have someone funding it, it won't get done.
  6. I've seen some shit on the internet. People are so dumb when it comes to opinions on things. First off, no matter what it is, shows and movies and gender less and ageless. Social media choices don't define who you are, and it makes me sad that people actually think that determines who you are nowadays. Second, bronies and religion have no correlation. I can't even see how you would connect god and an animated cartoon. It's a cartoon FFS. It's fiction. That being said, the worst thing I've ever heard is "all brony fan fiction and music sucks, and anyone who makes it should be sent to hell". That hurt. I'm not a creator myself, but I have a respect for all art and music, because I know how long and complicated the process can be, and for someone to come along and say that's its trash just because you like something they don't is pretty fucked up.
  7. If they were ever planning on making one, they should stop. It wouldn't look right for starters, and I doubt anyone can capture the emotion of something like that fan fic, and it takes place over several years, again something that's hard to capture in a movie setting. If they do plan on doing something with the fan fic, it won't be pony related.
  8. Nah man I see life like its a Pokemon game. You get to the end of the game, credits roll, elite 4 destroyed, and your left with this bad ass team of poke mine and a region left to explore. Why would I want to start over all my hard work? My level 100 teams I spent countless hours ev training, mixing and matching just to find the right Pokemon team for me. Or I could start over from the beginning and redo all that hard work over again only to make different choices which could present in a potentially worse outcome. Yeah no thanks.
  9. The friendzone is an imaginary place made up by people who were angry with the decision that the girl they had an infatuation with didn't feel the same way. But at the same time it can be hard dealing with "let's just be friends". Sure being friends are fine and all, but it's just not the same as holding her and being able to connect with her on a much more personal level than being "just friends" There is no preference when going after a girl. When you see a girl what's the first thing your mind goes to? How attractive she is. No one in this world sees a woman and goes "wow id really like to get to know her!" In a perfect world, maybe, but the first impression is always sex. Personality is the factor that makes you want to keep the girl after you get sex. I agree, women aren't objects, but it's sad how much the media has subjected women, and it's not just women either, it's men also. Most peoples idea of a perfect man is this buff handsome guy, fit, can cook and clean, good with money, easy to talk to, never keeps secrets etc. and ever interpretation of a female is pretty much the same thing. People need human contact. And in order to have a relationship you have to have expectations. When everything doesn't go according to your expectations, however, your world comes crashing down on you like a cinder block. That's why the friendzone was supposedly created in the first place, because people's expectations, plans, and realities were all completely out of time with each other.
  10. lol no. EqD barely posts porn, and when it does, it's gone within the hour. How it's run unprofessionally, I have no idea. Everytime I go on the site I see everything broken into various sections, organized and compiled. It even has a help section for people who want to learn art, music or even SFM animation. EqD not being the best pony site is most certainly an opinion. I think its great, and certainly better than ponychan.
  11. I'm jus really having a hard time understanding how people can be shy. First off, what's the worst that's going to happen? You want to go talk to someone right? So you go up to them and say hi. Either 2 things will happen. One, they will ignore you. Two, they will hold a conversation. Afraid of stage fright? Don't be. These people obviously out to see you perform, why not give them a show? Want to ask a girl out? The worst thing she will say is no. It won't hinder the relationship you have if you don't pass the girl off as a bitch because she didn't like you. It's all a matter of thought process I guess. I used to be shy myself, but then I realized that the best way to go about things in life regarding fear is to just not give a fuck. The only thing to fear is fear it self. We as humans tend to make a bigger deal out of things when it's not needed. Just take things slow, breath, and give it your best. You will be fine. Take it from Kyo, my OC. He's helped me along with my fears, I'm sure he can help you as well. I'm proud to be a brony, and so should every other pony. I couldn't care less about what you think. The only opinion that matters is my own.
  12. Man you'd be suprised how many bronies there are. I went out and bought me a vinyl scratch hoodie (SQUEE VINYL IS BEST PONY OMG) and wore it to school the next day to see what would happen. All of a sudden a ton of people came at me ( and I'm talking like 30-40 people. It was a crowd.) and started asking if they could touch my horn and blah blah. But out of the people who weren't being 5 year olds trying to pull on the horn that was attached to the hoodie, the others who came up after the crowd dissolved started to talk to me as how long id been in the herd and stuff. We shared merch and were to buy stuff, it was great. I enjoy being a brony. I really don't see what the big deal is about liking a cartoon show. (AHEM FOX) Although I do hate it when people try to call me gay for liking the show. TV shows (especially MLP) are gender less and age less and if you think someone watching a tv show makes them gay, you are a ignorant fool looking for attention.
  13. People are afraid of S4 because of change. Guys, change isn't a bad thing. I'm sure the show will continue to be great. The entire fandom got worked up like this when S2 was announced to be in production. As long as we continue to have faith in the writers, and see season 4 through to the end, I'm sure it will be fine.
  14. No shipping. God no. Noooooooooo this shipping is so bad. And it's unfair. The rules must be that sonic is racing on foot, and rd in air, but it can't be measured since they are using two different methods of speed. It just can't be done.
  15. A man was out and while he was preparing to leave he was putting his dog in the cage. As he left, he didn't realize that the dog had pawed his way out so he could chase his master. The dog ran out into the street and I saw it. I thought, hey he shouldn't be out... Then as the dog started to run towards me there was a car coming 70 mph down the road and the driver was on the cell phone. I jumped and pushed the dog out the road before the car came and saved its life. The driver happened to be the owner. He started to cry thanking me, saying how his dog was the only thing left good in his life. He offered me a reward, I declined it. Him being brought to tears for the love of his dog was enough reward in itself.
