I don't give a darn about what people think of me, mostly considering that I'm neutral with people, so they don't care about it anyway. I have an RD phone case, but don't wear any apparel. I want to customize my acoustic guitar with some decals or something, but I'm unsure. I don't speak about the show unless it's with my brony friends, again because it won't make sense to anyone else.

For the most part, it's a nnnope!

In fact, I wasn't much of an MLP fan until one guy in college told me he liked it.

There's nothing to be embarrassed about watching a cartoon.

I like to keep the fan art and fan fictions a secret, though tongue.png

I don't give a darn about what people think of me,

This.

I have never, and will never, care what others think of me. Of course, there are those who try and make me feel embarrassed about watching the show. It does not work.

I haven't told anyone yet at school and I'm thinking about only telling my friends that I know will understand that its just a badass Tv show that I love. It still might seem a little weird to them though, but I don't really care.

I used to be embarrassed about it for a while but not anymore. If the topic comes up I will gladly talk about it to others but other than that I keep it to myself. I have ordered a wallet with Rainbow Dash on it from amazon (it hasn't arrived yet though ,sucks to live in a country where it's hard to get merchandise). Friendship is Magic became really special to me and it changed who I am to some degree. I don't think liking this series is anything to be ashamed of.

I know the theme song is a cringed for some, but it doesn't bug me! While watching that theme... I blink and feel 2'x1' eyes on my face, and are sad to look down at myself and see a regular human body...

To be honest sometimes I do, but that's only because I know that those who aren't bronies don't even know what show I'm talking about. So I do not feel embarrassed for watching it as long as people know that I'm watching gen 4 but I think that some think you're talking about the older generations. I don't really care what people think about it, as long as they don't mix gen 4 with the older generations. So I guess I don't care.

Rule 1 : Never tell anyone you are brony if you live in an excessively judging community (aka me)

Rule 2 : Keep calm and Brony On

Rule 3 : Love and tolerate

Ps: I would never tell anyone. But i am also proud of it.

I'd love to say that I didn't care, but in reality I'm worried my IRL friends will think badly of it ( <------ unoriginal Brony issue right there). I'm trying to build my confidence, hopefully I can get to the stage where I don't give a buck.

No, because the only reasons I have to be are based on outdated social norms and rules that seriously need to go. I have been a rebel for quite a number of years so this is nothing new to me, though I will admit cartoon ponies isn't something I ever thought would interest me especially to this extent. I like what I like and if people have a problem with than that it is their problem, not mine.

I'm not embarrassed at all. I don't see anything to be embarrassed about, but that's just me. It's just a show that I enjoy. If someone has a problem with me watching it, then whatever. Like I care what useless opinions they have.

(lol, JUST REALISED THIS WAS ONLY SUPPOSED TO BE FOR MALES xD whoops... dang, I can't delete it, why am i so blind? O_o) I really don't care at all and I'm also proud to be a brony. I enjoy sharing MLP and even if someone does tease me about it than I go ignore them and happily continue to enjoy the fandom and watch the show.

Hehe, eh well, it's fine.

I was starting to question a bit there there though, wondering why you'd choose that username as a male.

I am pretty embarrassed to be honest, not about my friends but more so my family. I've always been a weird fellow. I was goth in Highschool lol which is super lame to me any more. I for the past 4 years have dedicated myself to getting rid of the stigma that people still hold above my head just because that's just not who I am anymore. I don't care if my friends know, they are used to me being weird and I am a standalone Brony in this big big world. If my family knew they wouldn't assume homosexuality, and if they did I wouldn't be the first in the family so that doesn't worry me, but I know that they would think that I was childish and wouldn't quite understand. Just not something I need from my family.

I am a Hardworking, Dockhand/Shipping associate for a Oil rigging company in Southeast Lousiana, so work is a place I could never come out, mostly out of fear of getting fired or just harassed until I cannot work well enough to keep up the pace. The forums are basically my safe place.

(Edit:Also I get away with watching it around my family when I'm there because I'll bring my daughter to visit and she loves the ponies, so I've got that haha)

I think that in some areas, very few ponies would actually care about ponies watching MLP and in general, no one cares. I haven't met anypony that is against it. My brother-in-law doesn't understand it but he is probably amused by it if anything. Everypony else I know either supports bronies or is neutral about it. So I guess I have nothing to be embarrassed about. It is only something to be a fan of.

I am not sure why you are limiting the poll but it's your choice.

Embarrassed? I wouldn't say that; "uncomfortable" comes to mind if referring to the half-baked insults and snobbish attitude one may very well likely have to endure from a depressingly large number of individuals, however.

Mostly though, I tend to not care. My tattoo of Fluttershy's cutie mark draws more than a few weird looks and rude stares/comments from people, but their judgment of my tastes in entertainment and ways of expressing myself is irrelevant.

What matters is that you are true to your passions in your heart, and to do as such is certainly something to be very proud of.

I give absolutely no fucks about people knowing I like MLP.

If they have a problem with it, it only goes to show that I need to make them watch the show. Then when say they don't like it, it gives me the indication that each one wants to be strapped down and forced to watch each and every episode.

When they beg me to stop, it only reinforces that they actually DO like it and want more.
So I show them Equestria girls.

Then they like it.
