Windhover's OC Drawn by Me

So Windhover and I made art for each other and I drew his OC. I'd like to have some critique on this drawing if you don't mind.

 

I did this in dA Muro. Smoothest lines I could achieve. I hope everypony likes it!

I want to pick him up. That's always a good want to achieve in a drawing.

 

His wings do look a bit on the small side, and maybe the right (from our perspective, his left) side of his face could use a smoother line. Those are the two main things I found with respect to criticism.

I've been practicing with wings lately so this was somewhat another practice. I'll take that into consideration and make the wings bigger next time. And I'll fix face line problems. I didn't really notice that.
