Castle Bleck 19,440 September 29, 2013 Share September 29, 2013 If the heroes represent the Elements Of Harmony, then do the villains represent the Elements Of NATURE? Think about it: Nightmare Moon = Air (sky-control, mist form, Royal Canterlot Voice (VERY gusty), etc.) Discord = Water (chocolate rain, Sweet Apple Acres' flood, "chaotic as the sea," etc.) Queen Chrysalis = Fire (green flames, passion and temper, etc.) King Sombra = Earth (dark crystals, prior imprisonment underground, very "grounded" personality, etc.) By @Emerald Heart.↑
Sky Warden 2,243 September 29, 2013 Share September 29, 2013 (edited) You're over-thinking it. End of story. If you try hard enough, you can relate anything to anything. Applejack to earth (strong, reliable), Rainbow Dash to air (free, swift, spirited), Rarity to water (calm, majestic, beautiful), Pinkie Pie to fire (fiery soul). Next time people will start relating the Mane Six with Mahjong or Chinese Zodiac. Edited September 29, 2013 by Sky Warden 5 Pinkeh asked me to put this here. Ghostfire 19 September 29, 2013 Share September 29, 2013 Everything changed when the fire nation attacked. Maybe you are reading to much into it. I mean Discord did make chocolate rain explode
Castle Bleck 19,440 September 29, 2013 Author Share September 29, 2013 This actually wasn't intended to be serious, just something fun to think about for a spell; you DO have to admit, though, that said villains' respective "elemental" traits are almost uncanny. Nah. You are over-thinking it. The relation between those villains and the element of nature is still too far. Discord can do anything, including manipulating earth or fire. The rest of the villain is more to darkness. Pinkeh asked me to put this here. Just another What Do You Think About Me stuff.
Castle Bleck 19,440 September 29, 2013 Author Share September 29, 2013 @ Sky Warden - My dear comrade, you will indeed find that I tend to, in fact, overthink MANY things; such is the curse of Asperger's Syndrome, I suppose. Lovely 67 September 29, 2013 Share September 29, 2013 We all kinda know for a fact that Discord is the element of chaos... I believe their the elements of disharmony. I don't know, just a headcanon. 1 Go to my profile for my ocs
VictimoNightmareMoon 38 September 29, 2013 Share September 29, 2013 Actually, the villians has the powers of Dark abilities. Like [Curses, Hexes, Havoc, Venom & Hatred] Nature, is the abilities of wordly effects. And- Harmony, is emotions https://mapsengine.google.com/map/edit?mid=zv-YvR5KvOvg.kkZHDQZy5M4U http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/kabelpod-r4036 http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/heavypod-r4529

Nightmare Moon: The WIND will last...FOREVER!!! Discord: WATER!!! *snaps fingers* Sunset Shimmer: *sighs*...Heart... All: GO, DISHARMONY!!! ???: By your powers combined, I am CAPTAIN HASBRO!!! Scootalove 10,689 September 29, 2013 Share September 29, 2013 The villains to me, each of them have an element that can relate to darkness. I don't see them, actually relating to anything with nature. Credit: Moony © Forum FAQ Forum Rules
Jokuc 8,174 September 29, 2013 Share September 29, 2013 I agree with Sky Warden, you are over-thinking it . Personally, I don't really think that the villains are any special kind of element at all. I mean there's the elements of harmony, that's it.
Castle Bleck 19,440 September 29, 2013 Author Share September 29, 2013 (edited) @Jokuc- And just like I told Sky Warden, this thread wasn't intended to be taken seriously, just a "guessing game," that's all. Then again, I DID just watch the Nostalgia Critic's "Last Airbender" review, so maybe I've just got air/water/earth/fire-bending on my mind. P.S.- God, PLEASE don't let Shyamalamadingdong make a "Legend Of Korra" movie. uml4mj4m 134 September 29, 2013 Share September 29, 2013 This whole idea for the Elements of Nature remind me of something. Hm. Anyways, I found a tiny little secret in your idea. 4 Elements Minus 1 group (The group of villains) 4-1=3 Half Life III Confirmed. Please don't hurt me. Legacy Dash 439 September 29, 2013 Share September 29, 2013 If the heroes represent the Elements Of Harmony, then do the villains represent the Elements Of NATURE? Think about it: Nightmare Moon = Air (sky-control, mist form, Royal Canterlot Voice (VERY gusty), etc.) Discord = Water (chocolate rain, Sweet Apple Acres' flood, "chaotic as the sea," etc.) Queen Chrysalis = Fire (green flames, passion and temper, etc.) King Sombra = Earth (dark crystals, prior imprisonment underground, very "grounded" personality, etc.) Although this is all true, you are forgetting that these people did other things too, for example, Discord made parts of the ground go up into the sky and spin around or rotate, so you could also say he is Earth or Air. Castle Bleck 19,440 September 29, 2013 Author Share September 29, 2013 (edited) @mitchfizz05- True, but I've ultimately come to THIS logic: 1. Water's arguably the most powerful (can extinguish fire, erode earth, absorb air, both give and take life, and covers 3/4 of our planet), so why NOT apply it to Discord? 2. He's used many "water-based" spells (chocolate rain, slippery road, Sweet Apple Acres' flood, etc.) before, anyway. 3. Large water bodies are often unpredictable, dare I say even...chaotic? P.S.- I KNOW there're no simplified "Elements Of Nature" in FIM, I'm just going with what I've seen the MOST from each villain; this thread isn't "Which Are They?" so much as "Which Could Fit Which Best?" It might be an idea if the ever make a anime version of mlp. that doesn't seem over thinking it. spacestorm 183 September 29, 2013 Share September 29, 2013 @, I think that assigning elements of nature to villains is quite interesting, though incorrect.Of course they represents darkness, chaos or other bad things (name them like you want), but as you said, it shouldn't be taken seriously. I like how you argued their elemental traits. If one think more about it, these comparisons are not senseless or over-thinked so much.
