@,
Angel put a hoof to her muzzle in thought.
"I... sort of understand... I don't completely get it, but it's better than having no idea." she smiled again. "Sorry for the likely confusing question. I have a simpler question for when we leave, though. For now, we should probably finish our meals."
With that, she returned to feeling around her bowl for salad, smiling in his direction. She couldn't see it, but some ponies were staring at her, wondering why she wasn't looking at her food.

Camou was chowing down on his sandwich. He saw Angel smiling at him and thought to himself, "She seems to be able to sense where I am even though she can't see me, it makes her even more fascinating, I wonder if she'll like my intelligence though?" Camou looked up at Angel and calmly said, "Look, this is something I normally don't tell other ponies, but I am actually really smart, but I try to hide it to avoid being looked down upon."

@,

"Used to be?" Dakota asked as he took a seat opposite of the mare.

Dakota looked over the mare and began to think to himself.

Did her blind date leave her?

As he looked at the mare, Dakota noticed her sigh and became a little concerned.

"So, whats up?  You seem a bit down."

Angel swallowed a bite of her food and her face contorted into a look of confusion again.
"Why would anypony look down on somepony for being intelligent? It makes no sense," she said. "It's a common reaction to get annoyed at somepony who brags, but seeing as you hide it, you obviously don't brag about being smart."

Camou took yet another deep breath. "Because pegasai are supposed to be considered athletic and fast flyers apparently, and I'm afraid if I told them I was a book nerd, they might make fun of me and call me an egg head or something. You think my intelligence is bad don't you?"

@, ((Sorry about the way late reply.))
Angel Light gave the air in front of her an even more confused expression, mixed with a bit of... frustration? Disppointment? Not even she was sure, but whatever it was, it was aimed at Camou.
"No...  I don't... Even if I did, it still wouldn't make it wrong, and if I did, I'd be a hypocrite. Pegasi are supposed to be athletic and fast? I'm neither. In fact, I rarely leave the ground unless i have a guide or somepony to tell me if I'm going to bump into something. I'm hardly your average Pegasus either. And there's nothing wrong with it, or the fact that you're intelligent. In fact, it's quite a good thing to be intelligent, no matter who or what you are." she smiled, completely confident in what she was saying. "Besides, I wouldn't want my blind date to be the opposite..." she giggled.

Camou was amazed smiled at Angel's remark "Wow, that was one of the smartest remarks I've ever heard, I could have some inteligent conversations with her." Camou got out of his thoughts and talked to her. "That was one of the most intelligent remarks I've ever heard. All my life I've had to think that athletic was the norm for pegasus because everypony around me was forcing it. Now I've met you, who is a pegasus I can actually relate to."

Angel beamed in the direction Camou's voice came from.
"Thank you, and I'm glad to have somepony to relate to as well," she said. "Well, relate to as much as I can, anyway. "
Smiling, she proceeded to finish her meal, happily listening to the sounds around her. She was liking how her blind date was turning out.

Camou finished his meal and sat there and waited for the bill to come by. "Hmmm, when shall the bill get here. Whenever the bill comes, I'll be a gentlecolt and pay the bill." He was sitting there kind of deep in thought. "Wow, this mare is the true definition of marvelous."

Angel Light chuckled at the way he had spoken, but blushed all the same.
There's not a single thing he's  done to show me he isn't a gentlecolt... He doesn't need to pay for me to show me that he is. Still, though, I won't argue... it's sweet of him.
"Well, while it's not necessary, if you're sure about it, then thank you." she smiled in his direction.
Finishing up her meal, she heard hoofsteps coming their way. Already used to the pattern, she could tell that it was the same waitress as earlier.
"Hello, are you two planning on having dessert, or are you ready for the bill?" the mare asked, smiling at the two of them, even though Angel didn't know that.

Camou turned to the waiter. He was not really much of a dessert fan but he didn't know if Angel was. "Oh I'm not into to many desserts, more on the healthy side but maybe my date wants something." Camou then turned to Angel asking, "Say do you want any dessert?"

Angel smiled and lightly shook her head.
"No, thank you, I'm actually pretty full from my salad."
"Alright, then I'll get the bill for you." the waitress said, then cheerily trotted away.
"Thank you for lunch," Angel Light said to Camou as they waited for the bill.

Sunset timidly trotted up and into the gazebo. She really didn't want to be here. Since getting transferred to the Ponyville Orphanage, a pink Earth Pony mare had made it her obligation to get the shy Pegasus to make friends. This was another one of her 'surprises,' as she called them, but they were truly more like schemes with good intentions.
Sunset didn't mind Pinkie, really, but her over enthusiasm and excitement over nearly everything was confusing. Sure, Sunset liked seeing other pponies happy, but she didn't understand how somepony could be happy all the time.
Still, she didn't want Pinkie to be unhappy, so she anxiously sat at one of the tables, hoping that nopony would notice her, or, if she absolutely had to be noticed, the only pony who would notice her would be her blind date.

Camou beamed at that. He felt honored that a pegasus who he can relate to had a great time on their date. "Yes I didn't mess up or anything. This blind date thing was a good idea for me." Camou said to Angel "You're welcome. Say this was probably the best date I've been on, you're a really great pegasus." Camou then blushed.

Angel chuckled and blushed at the compliment.
"Well thank you... It's the only date I've been on, but I can say this; I don't know if it can be topped." she smiled. Her ear flicked slightly as she heard the waitress approach again.
"Here's the bill." the waitress chirped, leaving the bill on the table and taking the plates.

Camou looked over at the waitress. "Thank you for your kind services." He then turned back to Angel and looked at the bill. "Once again, don't worry I'll take the bill off your hooves. Okay this lunch is in my price range." Camou pulled out his bag, took out some bits and put them by the bill. "There you go, that should cover it."

Windhover hovered his way over to the designated area. A gazebo... Strange. He really, honestly, had no idea what he was doing here, or why he decided to show up. His buddy Jack Knife had been trying to hook him up with a mare ever since they shared barracks. It was times like this that he seriously doubted if he had made the right choices.

Last time he trusted in him, he got a knife to the face, a thin scar over his right eye as something to remember the event by.

He eventually spotted who he'd be sitting down with. A small, bright yellow Pegasus. He had to be honest, she was kind of... Cute. As he walked closer, he could see a multitude of scars across her coat. She looked like she could use some talking to. Looks like they already had something in common.

There wasn't any backing out now. He sat down at the seat adjacent from her, taking off his cap.

"Uhhh... Hello."

(N'aww c:. Also, she's orange, not yellow, but I suppose it's more of a golden color so from a distance it could look like yellow. xP)

Sunset was just about to leave. She'd been waiting for a while and felt she just... couldn't stay.
Sorry, Pinkie Pie... but apparently my blind date hates me even though we haven't even met...
She was starting to get up when a stallion sat down in front of her and spoke. She hid behind her mane but stayed sitting.
"H-H-hi..." she mumbled in response to gis greeting.

@@Mint Drop,

Windhover scratched the back of his mane, feeling rather awkward. He could easily see how nervous she was. That, again, made two of them. The pegasus never really was good with talking to others... He'd have to make do. Somehow...

"Hey uhh... Sorry for being late... Name's Windhover. It's a pleasure."

He cleared his throat, shuffling around a little, followed by a sigh and a brief chuckle.

"Look, I am just as nervous as you are... I'm not used to things like this... Sooo... Yeah. Nothing to worry about from me..."

Angel smiled in Camou's general direction again.
"Thank you, again," she said. "Is there anything else you'd like to do? Or would you rather call it a day?
She kind of hoped he wouldn't choose to call it a day, but she'd be gracious about it if he did. She smiled politely in his direction, waiting for his response.

Camou thought for a second. "Hmm what can we do that wouldn't require sight? Watching the sunset and star gazing are out of the question. Something involving sound."  Camou suddenly had an idea. "I think there is a concert in the gazebo tonight, maybe I can escort you to that."

((May as well try to recover this, even if it doesn't work.))

Sunset blushed and tried to hide it behind her mane, but it was likely that most of it was still visible.
"U-um.... Y-you don't seem nervous..." she mumbled, averting her gaze.

@
Angel smiled and said, "That sounds nice," before putting a gray hoof to her muzzle in thought.
"Isn't that later tonight? Would you like to do something else until then? Maybe we could go to the park... If you want to, that is."

Camou thought to himself, "Hmm a nice walk in the park would be nice, I might have to guide her around though because of her blindness." Camou went back to reality and said to Angel, "All righty then, a lovely stroll in the park seems appropriate for this time of day so lets go."

@@Mint Drop,

((I sort of hoped this didn't die.))

Windhover ruffled his wings, relaxing a little whilst cracking a small smile at her blush.

Awww... Adorable.

"Well, the world doesn't seem round, right? Doesn't mean it's not..."

He leaned forward and propped his head up with his hoof, sighing.

"In other words... I am, actually, nervous... So uhhh... With that said.... Want me to order something for you?"
