I watched them on YouTube earlier this morning, I actually enjoyed it. I especially found the Styx paranoia scene hilarious, I think she's my favorite character so far (sorry Tails! I still wuv u^^), the visuals were nice too. Looked like a really good CG film but im not really a professional 3d art critic or whatever so Idk if it were 'bad' or not but I liked it at least.

Amy playing therapist gave me such a good laugh too XD

I also liked that take on having Eggman and Sonic stay together, i thought that was interesting even if it did end up being a ploy. I'll definatey be watching more of it.

One thing i did notice were the mouths didn't sync up to what they were saying but I dont really care about that.

I like the style and

the voices and yah

its in CG but it

kinda fits the Sonic Style

and Sonic looks like a freaking

runner and not the purse known

as his tummy you saw in the old

cartoons!

I watched these things on YouTube, I'll have to say that I found this show extremely awkward.

I felt that a lot of the gags and timing are familiar, they're jokes I've heard quite a few times before, as are the plots. Tails and Styx feel like they have the best potential as characters, and if done right I really think Knuckles' egotism could be used for some good gags when clashing with Sonic.

However, it still feels awkward to have all these characters in a straight-up comedy, especially Dr Eggman. Eggman was great when he was an actual, effective villain with a little bit of buffoonery thrown in there to make him entertaining. The Mike Pollock voice fits that character way better than the Eggman in this show. For him to be reduced entirely to a comedic role just doesn't feel right.

The Sonic franchise is best when it has serious action and continuity with stylization, attitude, wit, and humor as added bonuses; very much like how Sonic X went. That's the tone of the franchise that I think netted it most of its fans. This version feels very watered down and to me comes off as an attempt to compete with Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures (although thankfully with much less body humor from what was seen so far) and to cash in on the fad of putting action heroes in over-stylized comedies (see Teen Titans Go!).

It's not a terrible show, but to me it doesn't look like a particularly stand-out one either, and I definitely won't be holding it to the same standard as Sonic X.
