As Blast was impaled into the ground, he was being drilled through the planet's crust by the giant fist. When he was deep into the crust, he spat a tooth and looked back upwards.

"Heh. You think I'm trapped in this hole? Think again." Blast jumped to the side of the hole and began to run up the side. He then jumped into the air and focused on the black stallion. He then air dash into his skull, sending him to the ground. "How'd you like them apples?" He asked in a joking matter.

"Just fine." Said Dark, getting up. "Ever the fool. Light Streak couldn't stop me. What makes you think that one such as you could have the slightest of a chance?!" Asked Dark. Dark pulled out his blade, and charged at Blast, and hacked at his arm.

Blast took a hold of his bleeding front leg and smirked at the dark stallion.

"Because I'm the fastest earth pony in Equestria" He noted as if he was reminding him. "I can pull off incredible feats such as this." Blast started to jet around the stallion, hoping to confuse him for a moment. The dirt and sands began to circle around his and began trapping him in a tornado. He still had a slim chance to break free, though. "You'll pay for what you've done to Light!"

"I'm sure I will." Said Dark. "But first, why don't I stop this tornado, shall I?" Asked Dark, using his magic to stop the dust and dirt immediately. "And about alight Streak, he will die. No matter what you do, I will kill him. Don't make me have to kill you too." Said Dark, kicking Blast.

Light wasn't able to move, hope was starting to slow. "Blast..." Light called weakly. "Please... Remember me..." Said Light, falling to the ground, alive, but his condition worsening.

Blast had only been here for five minutes, and he was already fighting a unicorn, and his best friend was being killed in front of him. Blast was sent flying into a rock formation and fell to the ground. He then heard Light saying to remember him. That triggered it. Blast rose back up to his hooves with the Sonic Blast aura activated. He began running right up to the unicorn, having a plan in mind.

Ambrose heard Midnight talking to Twilight, and knew that any hope of convincing her to leave was gone, she was saddend, she had failed.

Light did all in his weak power to bring Ambrose to him, wishing she would come to his side.

 

Luna felt Light weakening. "What a dunce." Said Luna sarcastically. "Ah... One more change shouldn't hurt... Right... Right? But this will be the last. If Dark want to kill Light, let him, and then surprise him with a final change."

 

Dark was ready. As the power hurtled at him, he caught it, and infused it with a dark energy, and sent it back at Blast. "Sweet dreams." Said Dark with a grin.

The aura caught the magic coming at Blast. The aura suddenly shifted from red to black. Blast tried to smirk with confidence at the stallion, but the pain being generated from the darkness was preventing that. He finally ran up to the stallion and grabbed him. Blast put one hoof on the stallion's chest and smirked.

"Beat you at your own game. Now, Sayonara." Blast shot out the stallion's dark magic in the form of a lazer at his chest.

"Enough!" Shouted Dark, releasing a blast that shattered the beam. He walked to Light and pulled out his blade at put it at Light's throat. "Make a move, and the stallion dies." Said Dark. "I recommend that you back away and apologize to Sombra for trying to be a hero." Added Dark.

"Blast... I'll be fine... Go... Find Ambrose and Midnight... Tell them of my departure..." Said Light, struggling under Dark's blade.

Ambrose felt Light calling to her, and she took the life line. She landed right on top of Dark, and immeadatley shot him in the throat. She threw the body aside and rushed over to help Light. She hugged his body crying then straightened up. She took out her small first aid pouch and began to patch him up. "Hold on Light", she said through her tears.

"Ironic." Blast said, walking up to the heavily breathing body of the stallion. "You could block a beam of energy, but not a bullet." He then kicked him hard in the side. "Weak." Blast walked past the dead body and knelt down to the mare and Light. "You must be Ambrose?" He asked her.

Ambrose didnt even hear Blast, as she continued to repair Lights, broken body. She turned to Blast, and immeaditly said "Can you help him, i tried but...". She broke off and began to cry, see had done all she could and the rest would be in the hands of fate. "Please help him" she said to Blast. Please

Midnight snuggled into her mom's legs as he thought of being home, having her story read to her. She then began to hear lights last words. 

 

 

So this is how I die? Of sadness. said Light to Midnight. After all I've done. After doing all I can... This is what happens. No matter what you do, Midnight, I'm here. But not for long. Goodbye, Midnight.

 

Midnight opened her eyes as a single tear went down her cheek. She lowered her head.

 

"Im sorry mom." She whispered and jumped out of Twilight's grasp. She began to plummet towards the earth. She used her magic to home in on Lights position to teleport to him. Her magic brightened her body as she tried to use the spell.

 

"Come on, come on..." She demanded as she came closer and closer to the ground. Just before she hit she vanished and appeared next to light, who was seriously hurt. Midnight hurried and began her healing power. Trying for fix his cuts and burns.

 

"I-it's okay light, its okay.. You'll be okay." She said weakly as she tried to keep her eyes opened as she used her magic to heal light.

Blast put his hooves on Light's chest and began sending a pulse through Light's body through the Sonic Blast aura. He intended to use it to heal him.

Dark, unknown to all of them, teleported to the Master. "So, Master. It's time we met. I'm here to help you kill the heroes." Said Dark.

"Excellent!" Replied Sombra.

 

Light was still clinging to life when he felt Dark leave, he suddenly got up. "I-I'm alive..." Said Light. "B-Blast... Midnight... Ambrose... Thank Luna you're all here. That stallion, that stallion has a lot of connection with me, but I can't share it, it's too hard to say." Said Light, finally fully awake. "Thank all of you for saving me."

 

"Well, he didn't need that extra life, not yet..." Said Luna in her cell.

Midnight had almost passed out a few times. She couldn't consontrate with everyone around her at once. She reared her head up and gave a little yell. 

 

"Everypony back off!" She turned to both of them. 

 

"I can fix him, just, just give me some time... It's my fault anyway. So please, just let me help him." She sighed and went back to trying to fix Light. She sent her thoughts to him trying to wake him as she healed him. 

 

Light, light please wake up! Im sorry, im sorry i should have listened, I should have came back im sorry.

 

She almost began to cry, but then whiped the tear away.

 

"No!" She said aloud.

Twlight screamed as her daughter disappered and flew back to Canterlot voilenty

Midnight let her tears fall for happeness. She jumped into lights chest and call his name. She cryed into his chest before she looked up.

 

"I'm sorry i'm so sorry." She looked up to him.

 

"I should have listened to you, I'm so sorry..."She pleaded crying to light.

Ambrose full on hugged, kissed, and cried over Light. "Thanks Luna your back". She said. She looked around and realised that dark was gone. She didnt even care, she was too happy.

Blast let out a giant "Woohoo" Before brohoofing his buddy.

"Awesome, man!" He said enthusiastically. "Looks like that unicorn turned tail and ran. Guess he couldn't handle us anymore." He smirked. "But, anyways, who was that unicorn, and why did he want to kill you?"

"Don't worry. I'm alright." Said Light, hugging Midnight. "It wasn't your fault. I know that feeling, and it is hard to leave somepony you love, but we will stay strong." Said Light. "Now, I have a feeling that we will be hearing from Dark again very soon." Said Light, "but we have peace for this moment."

Light hugged Ambrose as well, saying that he loved her, and it wouldn't change.

Light turned to Blast. "That was Dark Spot. An evil being that hates me. Who he really is would break everypony's mind." He said to Blast.

Midnight turned and looked at the new pony and stood behind Ambrose, and Light. She didn't want to be taken or mislead again. She seen that Ambrose and Light had taken a liking to him, but she didn't want to take her chances, so she stayed behind ambrose and light.

"So your Blast. Thanks for keeping Light safe." Ambrose said to Blast. "Midnight you cam back" she said, looking over, i was worried i had lost you". She gave mid a hug

"Hey. What's up?" He said in a happy tone.  He then walked up to Light and showed him a letter he got from Princess Luna. "It says to meet her at the castle." He told him. "I assumed you guys have already been there. What's it for?" He asked.

Midnight smiled as ambrose hugged her. Then she looked over to the new pony sunk deeper into ambrose, trying to hide herself.

 

"Y-your not going to take me away are you..." She asked as if her would tell her the truth that he was. She was still weak from her magic, and the healing spell on Light had not helped that.
