My little pony Intro

Before you was a brony or pegasister and when you saw the My little pony intro when you was watching the first episode of MLP or what ever episode did you almost quit ?

Yeah, man, I ALMOST did, but then decided to give it a chance because a lot of shows have crappy intros, am I right. But it's not bad to me ever since I caught my pastor singing it, then I sang along with him... in the middle of a crowd.

Not really. When I was converting I actually liked the intro the theme is still really catchy although I do still like the Italian ones and Japanese ones way better no I didn't almost quit

The first time I saw the intro I wanted to skip it, I didn't know how long it went for so I didn't want to risk missing part of the episode (mind you, I get really upset when I miss just one second of anything), so I didn't skip it.  When I moved on to episode 2, I forgot how long the intro was from last time, so I just watched it again.  This repeated itself until I was hooked on the show.

 

Come to think of it, I don't even know how long it is now!

I literally had to pause the entire thing three times before finally mustering all the plentiful balls I needed to get through it.
It was one of the most cringeworthy moments of my life. Of course, looking back, I could have just skipped the intro, but the thought didn't occur to me at the time.
Anyway, I'm happy it didn't, because now, two years later, it's one of my all-time favourite theme songs, and I seriously hope they will not update it in any way in the future.
It's perfect the way it is.

I skipped the intro only at other languages but English and Japanese. The Intros in Italian,French,Chinese...etc were like  . Plus I just want to see those languages only which I am really interested in

Most people say that they dont like the intro but I for one love it! probably my favourite song from the whole mlp fim series is the extended theme song.

When I first started watching the show, I would always skip it. I knew about it before I gave the show a shot, so it wasn't a sneak attack. Nowadays I ALWAYS play it; I've definitely come to enjoy it!

Nah, the theme did feel kind of girly I guess, but I remember telling myself that I would at least watch a few episodes before judging. Besides, the theme is pretty catchy and I always watch the theme song on every show.

Meh. The theme was the theme. I'm so used to tv that doesn't even have a opening song, so it was a nice change. Also, it was a bit catchy (although I would've never admitted that when I first heard it).

No. Why the heck would I do that? First of all, there's nothing wrong with the intro. It's colorful, and catchy as fuck. Second, I'm not one to judge a book by it's cover, or more accurately, judge a children's show by its opening sequence.

i didn't skip it at first but then i when on a mass watch of it and watched it day and night so i skipped it to keep me going insane as well as the song (at first know i love the songs)

I think I kind of tricked myself into not liking it because I was putting up a big show for my roommate at the time. We are now both bronies... I even completed the 65 episode marathon challenge and now have the intro permanently embed in my brain. Ain't life grand?

When I first heard the theme song while watching the pilot episodes I was instantly reminded of stuff like Dora The Explorer, Barbie and other girly shows. I told my mom that one of my friends, who was a guy, recommended the show to me. So when she first heard the theme song she came over and said What are you watching?!

 

It wasn't so bad but it did make me cringe a little, just the first part where Twi sings My Little Pony in the beginning. The rest was decent I like to hear theme songs once, and unless they're epically awesome or catchy, I usually skip them. This one wasn't so bad

The first little bit of the the song, the "My Little Pony" part made me wonder why I was giving the show a chance. Despite this, I continued to watch and thankfully the opening got better. I actually kind of liked it, and nowadays it's one of my favorite opening songs for a Western Cartoon.

Actually, no. I thought is was slightly girly at first, but I warmed up to it. I just think it's funny that when Rarity sings "a beautiful heart" that she literally blinds the viewer with here eyes. Go watch it. I think it's catchy and great. Never judge a show by it's theme song!

The first time I watched the MLP:Fim theme, I cringed at the whole thing. I thought the theme was okay but I thought it was just another cheesy theme song. It is kind of cheesy but I did like it. I learned that just because something is colorful and happy, doesn't make it another generic girly show.
