ONE ROUND. FIGHT UNTIL K.O. 

 

WHO WILL WIN?

 

Think your character has the guts to fight one round against multiple creatures? Think they'll get through it without a scratch? Prove it, and sign up below.

 

Rules:

- No Godmodding.

 

- The fights are between your OC and someone else's OC.

 

- Every character starts with 50 health points each round. 

 

- Three sentences per post, third person past tense. Paragraph format. 

Ex: Gram lunged at Nelly, but tripped over his own feet and landed on his face. He quickly scrambled to regain his composure and face his opponent, but before he could he was flung into the air. Nelly leaped into the air and slammed her fist into Gram's jaw. 

Do not do this: *Gram punched Nelly in the face* 

 

- The effectiveness of any creatures attack will be determined by this random dice roll generator. 

 

- Every character has one dodge that they can use at any time. 

 

- Before fight night starts there will be an interview post that you can respond to anyway you want, but you have to respond to it. 

 

- There will be no romance or sex scenes as this is strictly fighting and violence. 

 

- After every attack is made I will make a post with the effectiveness of the attack. Ex: Fluttershy kicked Twilight in the face! 

Four points deducted, Twilight now has 46 health points. 

 

- When you join your character will be added to a tournament bracket. 

 

- Fighters cannot leave the ring until the opponent reaches 0 health points and the fight is deemed over by the referee. 

 

- You can join with up to three characters. 

 

- Include your health points in brackets at the end or beginning of each post. Ex: If Mary lost three points and she started with 50, then she would put [47] next to or after her post. Then if she lost 4 more points she would put [43].

Haha oh yeah that's cool too. I've been rping on another site for awhile and got used to their character sheet form. xD Lemme add that to the rules.

I really like the supportive parents thing! Not many people have that in their character bios.

Nah, I don't take part in rps like this because people get concerned about favoritism and biased judging and whatnot. ^^ All I'll do in this one is roll the dice and set up the matches.

Thats not a bad idea I would like to see an "example battle" to understand the sistem. I know there is an example up there on the 1st post but still I think it would be nice to see how it works in the heat of battle

Okay well for the sake of comprehension when the time comes to actually rp, do you two mind having a little mock battle. Just for this fight you'll have 10 health points instead of 50. If I see any mistakes I will tell you and tweak the rules accordingly.

I'll use this thread to give my corrections/suggestion/critiques

 

Alright this is my fault because I didn't add 'No Godmodding' because I assumed it would be a given. Anyway, you can attack the enemy but you cannot determine what happens to the enemy.

Ooohhh I like what you did with putting the health points in brackets on your post! Lovely I shall add that, as it will be a better way to keep track of scores. Thank you for that!

So it just occured to me that Natalie has not responded yet and Bone Snapper is almost dead. T.T So when she logs on I'll make a new enemy and you guys can fight that one together.

Alright the mock fight is over and here are my suggestion/critiques. 

 

Number 1: Three sentences per post, third person past tense. Paragraph format. 

Number 2: Sometimes I had no clue what you guys were talking about. 

Number 3: (This is for Colt) I suppose I should have added this, but you can't leave the ring until the fight is deemed over by the referee. 

Number 4: (And Natalie the Mage this is only for you really) When you say that you are going to use one character. Only rp with that one character. And at least make a note of the opponent, and the other people. If this were an actually animation, your character would have just appeared out of thin air and started throwing punches. 

 

Now are there any questions about the rp, and are there any things that you were confused about?

 

Also I edited the main post to make each fight one round instead of three. When everyone's clear on the rules we will start and I'd like to ask if someone can make up some random character so the fights will be even.
