Zinn was surprised at learning that they were magical constructs.  They seemed like they were so much more than that to him.  This is why they survived my attack! part of his mind howled joyously.  The Great Lord has provided me with companions that are not truly alive, so perhaps they do not have to be slain with the others!  This voice greatly irritated his headache though, so he quickly expelled it.

 

"I'm not really sure when my magic will be restored, I haven't had a need to overdo it like that... " for exactly seven thousand years "...for a long time.  It took two weeks to recover then, but this wasn't nearly as bad.  I'd guess another day or two."

"Well then, I'll sharpen my skills with Tenebris" Iwiek said before charging Tenebris. Tenebris laughed madly as the blow connected, sliding it backward.

"Hehe, I like fighting" Tenebris said, seemingly unaffected by the blow. Tenebris then retaliated with his own head-butt, a head-butt which Iwiek took to the stomach. Iwiek merely frowned as his fat absorbed the blow.

"It may not look like it, but Tenebris is vastly more skilled than me" Iwiek said, planning his own strike. "By being random, Tenebris can fight very effectively" Iwiek managed to say as he barely leaped out of the way of Tenebris's wild rush

@@Frosty V, The three had waited for too long, and still no sign of @Gloomfury.

 

"We have been waiting for far too long, we have too keep moving if we are to make it at least half way over the mountains before night fall. I know it seems harsh, but we have no other choice. We do not want to be in the pass over night. Its far to dangerous."

'Niru grab anything you want to keep hold of, we are leaving now.'

Violetina moved around the camp putting some spare food and water into her saddle bag before moving into the mountain pass with her sister.

 

The recent Earth quack had left Niru rather shaken, but she was still well enough to get moving, she ran beside her sister as they progressed deep into the Foal Pass.

Jaeger nodded in agreement. "Right we need to start moving." he said as he started to pack supplies into his bags, as well as reloading his revolver letting the empty shells hit the ground below. He holstered his pistol and tied down his bags and followed behind Violetina.

Zinn watched the pair fight in awe.  "Interesting," he said, "so Tenebris's unpredictability works to his advantage, and both of you are extremely resilient to blunt force.  Now if only we could do something about the bat ponies' flight..."

Then something caught the corner of his eye.  It seemed to be some sort of flying pony, but he didn't notice any wings on it.  "What on earth is that?!" he exclaimed.

As Paradox flew through the skies using his gravity magic, he spotted something upon the surface, looking back at him. He smirked and stopped his flight. "Oh looky what we have here, more fun! Guess the ship parts will have to wait a couple of seconds, I'm bored." Paradox said to himself.

He then decided to glide down towards Zinn. When Paradox landed he walked towards him. 'Might as well get some information out of this life form before I have my fun.' He thought to himself.

"Excuse me "Life Form" but you wouldn't happen to know where I could find some Amethyst and Diamond." He said, his voice sounded as if there was a whisper following it, his voice sounded a bit high pitched but not too high. He smirked with a devilish grin as he spoke to Zinn.

The flying pony must have noticed him, because he swerved and landed in front of him.  A unicorn, Zinn thought, that must be how he flies.  I've never seen a flying spell like that before though...  Something about this pony made Zinn very uneasy.  Maybe it was the grin, or maybe it was the unnatural tone of his voice, or maybe it was just the way he addressed him as "Lifeform."  He glanced over at the two brothers, hoping that they had noticed the arrival of the newcomer.

 

"It's the end of world," he stated coldly, "what could you possibly want with gemstones?  Anyways, I don't know where to find them."  He almost mentioned that he could try to scan the nearby ground when his magic returned, but felt that it was a very bad idea to let this pony know that he was currently in a weakened state.

"Life form, well that's racist" Iwiek snorted as Paradox landed. "Also, why do you sound like you got neutered?" Iwiek mocked, circling Paradox. 

"What does that mean?" Tenebris wondered.

"It means he's like a girl" Iwiek replied, grinning evilly. Iwiek giggled at his own joke while circling Paradox

Paradox watched as Iwiek circled him. "The words you are saying to me sounds as if you are insulting me. Therefore I should feel offended..." Paradox's devilish grin turned even more wicked. "I do not wish to be insulted, When I have only asked a simple question of your comrade here." Suddenly his face went neutral.

 

Paradox closed his eye's for a split second, then opened them again with a fierce look upon his face. "Therefore, you shall bow down to me!" Paradox outlined the gravity force around Iwiek and used his energy to manipulate it. Thus causing the gravitational push around Iwiek to exceed 10x the normal gravity. 

 

"Now since your comrade doesn't know where to find the parts for my ship, I will ask you." Paradox looked toward Tenebris, his expression completely neutral "Do you know where I can locate Amethyst and Diamond?"

Iwiek only felt minorly inconvenienced by the increase in gravity. Thank God, finally an enemy who used crushing forces instead of cutting ones. 

"Can you eat Amethyst and Diamond?" Tenebris wondered, thinking with all the power of a small child. "Wait, you're attacking my brother" Tenebris seemed to realize before shoulder tackling Paradox

Paradox simply smirked when tenebris attacked. Then suddenly, Paradox started to think about the current situation. As if time had suddenly stopped he quickly thought to himself.

'The one who is insulting me is still standing, he must have resistance to my magic, either that or he's stronger then I thought. Therefore, I know just how to take care of him. The other one who is currently lunging at me is not very intelligent. I know how to stop him then. Then theres the one who is clueless, he is not a threat right now but it feels as if he is hiding something from me.'

 

Paradox looked at Tenebris as he was attacking him. "You there, if you halt your attack then I shall present you with sustenance." Paradox then looked toward Iwiek. "And you, if you would rather rise up then bow down to me, then be my guest." Paradox reversed the gravity and launched Iwiek up high in the sky and kept him there. "You just stay there for a while" said Paradox, however Iwiek couldn't possibly have heard him as he was to far from Paradox.

Tenebris ignored Paradox. Paradox had underestimated Tenebris's stupidity. 

"I don't know what sustenance is!" Tenebris said before headbutting Paradox. Iwiek for his part, shouted encouragement. 

"Aim for the throat" Iwiek coached, attempting to shake free of the gravitational flux

Zinn smirked.  This newcomer really didn't know what he was dealing with.  "You best put my companion down," he warned, "because you really don't want to make Tenebris angry."  He chuckled a little to himself, and then added, "By the way, once you find out a strategy to fight a cloud of smoke, tell me!"
