Cloud approached Sunny, putting a hoof on her shoulder, "Calm down Sunny, nopony's gonna die, we're all gonna make it out of here, I think we need to get moving, there was what sounded like a gate in that direction, so lets go check it out"...

Sunny would nod, calming down a bit, "Right.", she gulped, "As long as we're together nothing is going to happen.", she tried to re-assure herself.

"But it's true. If there's that much blood around here, there's most likely a murderer. A murderer would do anything to make sure nopony finds out about the murder. He's probably watching us right now, planning a painful and violent fate for us. The only thing we can do is run!"

Cloud glared at Lunar, "Thats enough from you Lunar! Dont go scaring everypony with your rantings!"

"A... a... murderer? Well, that does it... I'm with Lunar. I don't think it's very wise to linger around..." As she spoke, her voice trailed off silently. Artsy had this distinctive odd feeling that something was watching her. Something... someone... she didn't know. And more importantly, she wasn't sure she wanted to know. "Um guys... maybe we should do something soon. Maybe... go in the opposite direction of the blood? I think... well... I don't really want to say... let's just get out of here. I don't have a good feeling at all. I guess... towards the gate..."

 

Not being one to initiate things, but feeling that they were sitting ducks for a possible murderer, Artsy took a very slow step in the direction the sounds had come from.

Cloud followed Artsy, "Finally we start to get a move on" he muttered, he kept the shovel tucked under his wing as he walked, he glance at Artsy, "You holdin' up ok?" he asked concerned..

"Yeah, I think I'm fine..." She replied rather simply, trying not to allow her feelings of unease spill into her words. Although her insides wretched and contorted with fear.

Cloud nodded, though not quite convinced of her answer. "Call me crazy... but somethings... off... I never felt this... light whenever I walked, have you noticed this too?"

"I....I really feel like we are being watched now" He says covering the back of the line of friends "Let's just get out off here"

"Watched?", she had also the feeling, but she always felt watched! Now that the others mention it she panics once again, "So... w-which direction guys?", she didn't want to decide.

"Sunny calm down its more then likely nothing now come on" He says with a fake smile on his face to try and calm her down

Artsy, although anxious, was beginning to feel more exasperated. Nopony was taking action... they were just standing around and talking. Would she have to be the one to initiate things? It seemed so.

 

"Listen... I'm really scared too, Sunny. So... that's why we should... go that way." She pointed her hoof in the opposite direction of the blood, somewhere in the vague mist that still seemed to have surrounded them...

Sunny would slowly nod, her friends were there for her right? She swallowed heavily, "O-..Okay, I'm.. right behind you.", she just hoped there really was nothing.

"Lead on ive got the back that way i can make sure we arent being followed" Looking towards where the blood goes "I really dont like this place"

Cloud nodded and stood next to Artsy, "Ready when you are" he said

"You know, it could just be ketchup!" Lunar joked softly, walking over to Sunny. He saw how terrified she was, and he slowly whispered, "Don't be so scared, we're here for you. If anything happens, you can count on us to help you..."

As the six ponies were talking, around them happened quite a few things. The sound they heard earlier was indeed a door opening, should they approach it they would see that it is made out of metal, seeming to be made in one piece as it was completely flat. There also was no doorknob. But most importantly it would be open. Leading inside what looks like a storage facility. There were yellow lights that lighted up the area around it. Someone must have either went out in a hurry or forgotten to close the door.

 

Outside the sun would slowly start to dim, it started to get dark.

Cloud looked at the setting sun, then back into the building, "Well it seems we found our shelter for the night, let's see if we can find anything of use for us while were here"

"isnt it weird how this door just happens to be open? Something just isnt right" looking at cloud "You actually believe we are lucky enough to find this?"

Artsy glared dully at Spade's joke as she put her hoof over her eyes to block out the glare from the bright yellow lights. She considered their points... well, certainly, it was odd that the door was just ajar. But at the same time, it was dark.... ultimately, she was going to have to go with Cloud.

 

"It... yeah, this is quite strange. I mean... it looks kind of like a warehouse. An old... abandoned... creaky warehouse." She thought she was describing that a little too well, as she had shivered at her own words. "Let's just go inside and pray we can leave all of this behind. At this point, it's all we can do, right?" She didn't seem so confident in her statement.

Cloud nodded, "It's settled then, we stay here till morning. Perhaps we can find a few things here too. He walked in while looking from side to side. When he deemed it clear, he motioned for the others to follow.

Sunny nodded, "A-Alright.", she would then follow the others inside the warehouse, still looking anxious and expecting anything to jump out of the wall any moment. One could see that she was pretty distressed.

"dont worry Sunny i gotcha back nothings gonna jump out at us" He says following them inside and whispers to himself "I hope" once everyone was inside he slammed the door shut

Lunar quickly trotted in, though thinking that this could easily be where the murderer is hidden. Let's hope Cloud goes first, Lunar started, I don't like that guy.

Artsy scoffed as the door was rudely slammed behind her. How rapid he appeared to be in his actions...

 

She had seen Lunar's similar offense to his actions and shook her head. Trying to ignore this transgression, the unicorn took her mind back to the important matter at hand; this warehouse. Her dark eyes peered inside to analyze its contents and see just exactly where they were.
