Okay so I'm participating in this gift sending thing my church has never done before but I've participated once before back in the third grade because my teacher had done missionary work at the time.

Anyway, I'm thinking of buying a pony toy (the gift box I'm sending will be for a little girl in the age group of 5 years old to 9 years old and it needs to be small enough to fit inside a shoebox so it and any other items I put in this can be safely shipped to the country where this child lives. This of course being a child in a developing country)

Anyway, I'm open to suggestions

Thanks

Ello! I've been doing Operation: Christmas Child my whole life. But this December I'm actually going with some students at my school to one of the warehouses where I get to package, check, and pray over the boxes. Also, I'll be putting together some of my own. I don't know what all I'm going to put in D: But I know that most candy isn't a good idea if it will melt.

One of the things I haven't done but I think would be really cool is if you put a picture of yourself in the box. So the children can know more about the person that sent them the gift. Maybe a short letter to them, though I don't know how the whole sending gift to place that doesn't read english goes. But they'd have translators who could read the notes to the children. So yeah! I'm excited for this trip I'll be taking and I hope you have fun making your box :DD
