Meanwhile, Meep trotted through the streets of Ponyville. Her mind was on the latest story idea she had, so she wasn't paying attention to where she was going. With an "Oof!" she bumped into another pony and the two fell.

Meep immediately helped the other pony up. "I'm so sorry!" she apologized.

The pony, a butter-yellow pegasus with a long pink mane, let out a sound not unlike a whimper and fled.

"That's funny, she looked like Fluttershy." Meep watched the other mare run away and saw from her cutie mark that it was Fluttershy! "Wow, that's cool," she said to herself as she brushed the dust from the ground off her coat. Then she looked up and saw a flyer tacked to the side of a building.

"Fighters needed to aid in the hunt for Demon Blood," Meep read, her eyebrows rising. "Reward money will be split evenly. Any that wish to help, meet at the Devil's Pub in the back room at sundown!" A grin spread over her face. While she didn't relish the idea of entering a pub, she knew that this was for her. She had heard of Demon Blood's terrible deeds and even met the family of a filly whom he had killed, while eating lunch at the cafe; she wanted him dead as much as whoever wrote the flyer, as whoever was offering the reward, did.

Meep glanced at the sun; it was just starting to go down. I better hurry, she thought to herself as she turned around and trotted quickly towards her house to fetch her sword. If I don't, I might be late! She couldn't wait to meet whoever would be waiting in the Devil's Pub.

Frost stared at Steel for a while before shaking his head. "What if some chump picks up that flyer? Some wannabe hero looking to prove himself? Or some maniac with a death wish?" he asked spouting his concerns. "I'm in this with you to the end.....I just wanna be sure who ever accepts that flyer...can back us up." he added

"you have a death wish if you're fighting demon blood and as for a wanna bes they will die fast or prove themselves " steel said "do you still have that dagger I made for you " steel began putting all his weapons on and preparing for the meeting after it they would be leaving for demonbloods last known location

Frost chuckled and nodded, pulling out the custom white dagger. "Never leave home with out it.....why? Does it serve some importance?" he asked as he began to flip the knife with his hoof and passing it back and forth with his other hoof. I hope your right Steel... he thought

"it shows your rank here my second in command " steel said as he pulled out his own dagger it was solid black with a snow white inlay that meant pain and revenge steel made it after demonblood took moonbeam steel doned a black cloak and pulled the hood up "let's do this"

Frost stood up and pulled up his hood, placing his shades over his eyes, he wasn't a fan of being noticed in public, even though nopony really knew him he was paranoid like that. "Alright Steel....lead the way to the pub!" he stated in a fake heroic type voice.

Steel chuckled "not yet I have to go buy some stuff " steel said as he walked out the door after he had steel put old rusty chains on it and the put up a condemned sign and walked opposite the bar to an ally "hey doc you got the god's blood "

It was nearing sundown as Blacklight arrived to the town limits. It's getting late he thought, I better find an inn to spend the night... He was pulled out of his thoughts as a flyer smacked him in the face. He pulled it off him and stared at it for a few minutes before placing it in his sattle bags. Hummm...so somepony whats this Demon Blood dead. Well, it says there's a reward and I could use the bits...buck it I'm in. Now to find this Devil's Pub before sundown. ​With that he launched himself into the air flying in the general direction of the pub in hopes of reaching it before sundown.

Prince Ares smiled, "So we're gonna fight", he asked himself, his neclace shinned a Almost black color.. Why is it affecting now? He thought, he looked around. "Maybe it's nothing" he told himself. He walked back to the castle. Something bit him on his leg, a  timber wolf cub. He picked it up, "I know mom and dad woun't let me keep you, yet,I'll keep you for the time  I'm here, I'll call you Foalan" he told the pup.

Frost smirked, "You know I don't like waiting Steel. You go by your things and I'll meet you at the Pub....if anyponys there they will want an explanation." he muttered in an emotionless tone. "Besides....itll give me a chance to test out whoever signed up...hehe." he chuckled with an evil looking smile.

He grinned at his new pet, "It's OK boy, I hope your mother is NOT around." He  felt Foalan's timber, "Why is your timber wet boy?" he asked Foalan,then Foalan started to growl at something, there was nothing. A pony wiith a cloak passed by... "Foalan, you need to get used to these ponies, I have to stay here for a while", he told Foalan. That pony was strange, He thought.

After flying for ten minutes, Blacklight finally spotted a building that looked like the pub. As he glided to a stop at the foot of the pub he pulled the flyer to check the name again. Devil's Pub, yea this is the place and I'm on time too. Now, here goes...he thought as he walked into the pub. Eyeing the bartender, he quickly came up to him and showed him the flyer and was lead to the back room of the pub. Picking a chair with a clear view of the door, he thought to himself, time to play the waiting game.

    Prince Ares smiled at Foalan then looked at the flier.He forgot he got that pack-belt on him, Maybe if this pub lets me in with Foalan in here, I can help, He thought. He made it open then magically puts Foalan in there. He ran to the pub and waited.. He waited for the others, he thought he could buy something, with the amount of bits he got. He  smiled at the bartender, then showed him the flier he got and was shown to the back room...

     He then took Foalan out, the young timber wolf played with some, what looked like, old gambling pieces.

Frost walked to the Pub and entered, he scanned the crowd his hood still up and his shades still over his eyes, he didn't see anypony of interest, but saw the back room door was open. He walked to the doorway and stopped. He looked around inside to notice one pony had already taken a seat, another appeared to have a small wolf pup playing on the floor. "I'm guessing your here because of the flyer that was posted?" he asked in an icy, emotionless tone.

Steel smiled "I'll take four"steel siad as he pulled out the bits and took four viles and walked away "now then to the pub " steel said as he tool flight and flew the pub once there he stepped inside and seen frost standing in the door steel silently walked behind him and saw the two stallions steel flicked a throwing knife at each on right past Frosts head

((Ares and Blacklight have introduced themselves to Steel and Frost at this point))

 

Meep drew up to the pub and peered inside. She could see four stallions inside; a grey pegasus, a black pegasus and two white unicorns. All of them had knives on their persons. The white unicorn who stood by a table had a wolf cub with him; it made for an intimidating sight.

 

"Um...hello?" she tried.

 

The grey pegasus, who stood near her, turned sharply. His eyes landed on her sword at her side, and he smiled. "You're here, I assume, because of the flyer?"

 

Meep nodded. "My name is Meep and I'm here to join the hunt for Demon Blood."

 

"Well, I'm Stained Steel, and my friend Frost" - Steel gestured to the white unicorn with the light blue mane - "and I are the leaders of the hunt. Those guys over there are Prince Ares and Blacklight."

 

Meep nodded to the two at the table and turned back to Steel. "So how do I join?"

 

"Prove your fighting skills," Steel replied. "If you can hold your own in a fight against me or Frost, you're in."

 

Meep grinned. "I'm ready."

Steel smiled wickedly and removed his cloak revealing his many weapons "I'll be nice pick your poison "steel said as he displayed his weapons he had blades of every kind, daggers throwing blades sickles, tomahawks, hatchets even a short sword and razors

Frost turned his gaze to Steel, "I don't think we need weapons right now......try good to good combat....I don't want to get kicked out of the pub." he exclaimed coldly to Steel. "Let's just line it up.....organized please." he added. "We can move to weapons later.....of they are as good as they say they are they should pass the first test easily." he said

Steel cut his eyes to frost "I know the Owner he doesn't mind that why I chose here " steel said just as coldly even though frost and steel where friends they would be cold in the company of others -never show weakness -steel thought as he turned back to meep

"So I can use my sword?" Meep asked excitedly. "I've had lessons from the best Equestrian trainers! I promise that I'll try not to hurt you..." She laughed, hoping her remark would be taken as a joke. When no one laughed, she paused awkwardly and glanced at Frost, then at Steel. "Do we start now?"

Frost sighed and went to sit. "You can start when you please i could care less. Just please don't spill a lot of blood, I don't like messes." he replied as he took his seat at the table, removing his hood and shades, revealing his piercing, purple eyes, he removed his cloak to reveal the chain tattoos that spiraled up his arms.

Steel flicked a throwing knife at her face and pulled his daggers "in a real fight you wouldn't have time to ask" steel said "and you should never reveal how you was trained it will lead to your death" steels voice was cold and had a hard edge -maybe she will show potential - steel thought

Meep caught the knife with her magic and mentally gulped. "Oh. Thanks for telling me." She stored that information in the back of her brain and took up fighting position, facing Steel. She had never fought with something as small as a knife before, but she figured she could catch on quickly. She leveled her knife and made her first mistake: waiting for Steel to "get ready".

Steel pulled out throwing stars and threw them they flew right at meeps chest if they hit she could die steel wouldn't hold back he knew she was waiting for him to get ready and mentally laughed

 

Demonblood walked in the everfree with moonbeam held by demons he came up to a house and smiled he sent to hell hounds in heard screaming then utter silence he walked in and then burnt a pentagram onto the body of one and left a letter
