searching Warped Mane 6

@@Pripyat Pony,@EpicHarmony, I have encountered Rps where there was something like this and it made both Rps die because half the RP was inactive. Having someone play the same role in both dimensions ensures that if the replacement for one comes it replaces both sides. It also makes sure that one player knows what both characters would do since they would just have to see things from the opposite perspective. It would allow people to monitor the other side if they wanted... since essentially the need for spoilers from the opposite side is useless since characters can't know what happens on the other side... plus it wouldn't matter. I propse one thread with the Rpers separating with a commonly shared mark those sections.

@, That could work; of course, I'm used to playing lots of different characters in the same RP but if anypony thinks they might have difficulty separating characters, maybe they could use a different colour for each one? Ie use a light orange for Applejack and a darker orange for Applesauce.

@@Pripyat Pony,Yes... that could work. Red for Distopian Equestria and Blue for "Utopian"? I can already imagine Applesauce accusing the Utopian princesses of High Treason! Luna could be accused for that by her absence in the Canterlot wedding and being Nightmare Moon. She would say something similar for Celestia... she would accuse Shining Armor of being unable to defend his homeland in the Canterlot wedding... and Princess Cadence for being a decorative Alicorn just a pawn of Celestia and Luna in their scheme to control the elements of Harmony in order to have power as "fictional goddesses" of the land. They would accuse them of lying of being able to control the sun and the moon... and she would claim that it would be best for the freedom of the people if Celestia and Luna left altogether. Causing a revolution against them... and the former elements. They would say that the elements don't represent the sides of friendship but are simply artifacts of great power made into a legend by the alicorn Princesses.

I just say colors that relate to the character, so Fluttershy could be a light turquoise (for her eyes, as I'd imagine pink would be taken by Pinkie and Party, and yellow is hard to see, though that's just what I would use ) and a darker turquoise for Butterfly, instead of just red and blue.

@, Maybe, tho given the crush Spike has on Rarity, perhaps Gem share Spike with Glitter as regards chores. Tho with Gem, it would include sorting stolen articles. O.o

Actually, wouldn't it be more exciting if the warped six and mane six look identical in appearance? Warp six can pretend they are mane six and pull off some shenanigans disguised as mane six. I also don't see how colour difference would reduce confusion.

@,That would rise the suspicion towards the changelings... and none would believe them/trust them... I don't know... doesn't seem right that they be EXACTLY the same!

@, Well, they wouldn't buy suspicion as changelings since mane six are gone in other world, but I get the point. It would be boring if warped six are able to fool others that easily.

@, We're not going to do it that way, cuz as nios said, it doesn't make sense. For example, they all have different personalities. Butterfly wouldn't be shy; she'd be more Flutterbitch than Fluttershy. Cloud and Glitter would be far more stylish than their counterparts, for different reasons. Applesauce might look similar to Applejack, but perhaps she wouldn't have a hat, or have a different one? Basically, we're talking enough similarities to show that they're the Mane Six's counterparts (and could get mistaken for them, at first) but enough differences so that other ponies eventually guess.

Perhaps we should determine exactly what those accessories will be. Here's what I think they should have:

Glitter: Head braid and braided tail to emphasize her superiority over other ponies, with an attempt to form a laurel wreath with her own hair.

Gem: Short Bob manecut and short, straight cut tail, to reduce risk of her hair interfering with her burglary.

Cloud: Long Mohawk with shaggy cut tail that expresses her vainity and obsessive attention seeking.

Applesauce: Untied straight backmane and untied long tail with backwark brown baseball cap. Straight manecut gives an impression of naiveness and brutal honesty.

Party Pie: Long Afro mane and Afro tail, since funny Pinkie Pie got bouncy hair, brutally silly Party Pie must have crazier, bouncier hair.

Butterfly: medium length mane tied into buns and same with her tail, to contrast with Fluttershy's long hair and her tendency to hide behind her own mane.

I just realised, that Applesauce is in fact Applejack's great great aunt, so perhaps such notion can be used in Roleplay when Applesauce address her name to Applejack's family.

I say no to this. Pripyat said that Cloud and Glitter would be more stylish than their counterparts, and I don't find a mohawk to be stylish, per se.

Plus, I was thinking that Party Pie would have a dead straight mane and tail, to emphasise her cruelty in comparison to Pinkie's fun bouncy mane and tail, and nice personality.

Well, I thought since Party Pie abundantly likes practical prank and Cloud still desires coolness while seeking for attention, I thought Afro and Mohawk would fit in nicely, with Afro showing Party Pie's abundant craziness and Mohawk being fancy and cool at the same time.

But I guess it can change.

Then, what do you guys suppose Cloud's hairstyle should be like?

I say... You need a crown, y'know, like the one Rainbow Dash got in Sonic Rainboom for winning the Best Young Flyers competion. But, that's my opinion.

 

As for Gem, she'll have hair like Rarity did in Suited for Success when she wallowed in pity, and a ninja suit. Everyone needs a ninja suit.
