As for Gem, she'll have hair like Rarity did in Suited for Success when she wallowed in pity, and a ninja suit. Everyone needs a ninja suit.

Ninja suit doesn't really sound good. @Pripyat Pony said, 'enough similarities to show that they're the Mane Six's counterparts (and could get mistaken for them, at first) but enough differences so that other ponies eventually guess.' Rarity's distressed hair is too subtle and ninja suit is too obtrusive.
