No, and that's sort of the point. If you want to actually force a plot point, you bring in OVERWHELMING numbers. Send in a few aircraft, maybe a tank or two... Orbital/Naval strikes are always appreciated, but you don't send 80 guys against end-game (the period of character progression, not my OC) level PCs expecting them to win.

You know what we need? Some actual real threat to the group, considering everyone is either near end-game, or end-game. Minus a few exceptions of course.
