So a story going around is that Amazon is going to try to start delivering your packages using flying drones....

Would you like to have your package arrive at your home in under 30 minutes being delivered by an unmanned drone?

What are your opinions about the idea? Do you like it or hate it?

I really want to know because I don't know what to think of the new technology.

Thanks for your opinions

I do think it's a pretty cool idea but it's also fairly ambitious. A number of things could go wrong with the new technology.

If you see me around, feel free to say hey!

If it actually works well, then it could be a smart move. If not, then it's obviously a bad decision. I'm not against fast deliveries and all, but I'm not sure what I think about this. I'll remain neutral until something good or bad happens to sway my opinion.

If it works then awesome. But im assuming these drones would be costly, and what if some idiot shoots it down...
Trust me...its possible in this world of ours ._.

I think it'll be pretty amazing to have drones come to your house and you don't have to wait days for your product to come.

It could cost amazon alot of money. But I like the thought of waiting for a package to arrive and it just being there in 30 mins (thats likely... :comeatus: ) and it just being there!

But for the thought is also creepy... I can't really explain why

I like the concept of the idea. But in practice...there are SO many things that could go wrong.

Such as:

-Cats pouncing on the drones as they near the ground, causing irreparable damage (Same goes for dogs and other domesticated animals)

-Pranksters could use strong magnets to mess with the circuitry and disable the drones

-Like  mentioned, people could also shoot them out of the sky with guns to intercept deliveries

-Bad weather conditions could cause the drones to break

-The drones could potentially be hacked and re-directed to some other location

I just see so many things that could go wrong. Amazon would have to address these issues first before they even considered doing something like this on a global scale.

This actually sounds pretty cool. They're going to have to make sure everything works before they go ahead and start doing it though. I read somewhere that drones aren't terribly hard to hack, so you may have people trying to hack drones to steal peoples things.

Anyways though, if in the future they could get it to work this would be awesome.

This is an amazing idea! I wanna see a drone fly over my house and drop a package right in front of my door! I mean how much cooler could you look? What if your neighbors didn't know about it and you looked like some badass special agent for the FBI or something? xD

Yeah this is some things that I see would happen. -_-

Hmm, well nothing is bad with the idea itself.

A lot can happen, someone could place a bomb in it or someting.

Well, it would be awesome anyway.  :yay:
