I might agree with you but she listed only 10 numbers when there's confirmed to be 16 or so songs  so unless we get another Magical Mystery Cure episode where they put 5 songs in an episode this could be wrong.

I'm guessing it either has something to do with the box from the season premiere, or the episodes that have songs After all it's been confirmed there are gonna be a ton of songs this season

Was there? I didn't know that there would be one. I guess it's just too early to call out anything until we see the first two episodes Meghan listed. Maybe after that we can crack the code and figure out the correlation.

I'm pretty sure that Meghan confirmed in one of the Q&As that pinkie would be getting a musical episode this season. and I don't mean a typical pinkie episode with one or 2 songs, but something more akin to MMC that has prolly 4-6 songs.

Assuming that these numbers do indicate the episodes with at least one song in them...

 

One of them is wrong. Or skipped.

 

Leap of Faith, episode 20, has a song.

 

So either 21 is a typo, or she forgot to put 20 on the list.

 

I'm guessing typo. Next episode is about Rainbow Dash taking a Wonderbolts test and that doesn't seem like an episode that would have a song in it.

 

Am I the first person to notice this? Hmmm... not sure what this says about my obsession with the show.

I'd say that those numbers indicate the episodes that have songs in them, just need to include 20. Nice try, Meghan. But, forget I said that. It was actually Episode 21 in production order, I'll just retract my earlier statement.

Technically, Meghan is correct. Leap of Faith is actually episode 21 in production order, but for whatever reason The Hub is airing episode 19: Trade Ya at a later date.
