Muddle couldn't agree more with Lightning. She was awed to see such a beautiful necklace. She a was even more surprised to see that it was made for her. 

 

She wanted to speak up, but before she could Silver was already putting it around her neck. When her eyes opened, she was at a loss for words.

Her Shadow had managed to sneak behind Silver, but what ever action it was about to take was halted when he put the necklace on Muddle. A similar one in Shadows favorite colors appeared around it's neck. "Black, gray, white... This really is beautiful!" It frowned as it looked over the necklace again. "But it still says Muddle..."

 

Shadow ripped of it's necklace and threw it behind it head. This in turn removed Muddle's. 

 

She snapped out of her daze and used her magic to catch them both. She turned towards Silver and grinned, "...Sorry about that," She had a slightly concerned look on her face as she said. "These really are beautiful, where did you get it?" Realizing that she had gotten it, "Er, why did you get it?"

Shadow was very interested to know what the 'catch' was as well.

Silver smiled slightly as he started to feel something off,but he replied softly "Because...I wanted to give you something for your trouble and hardship because of me and my brother."he says and looks at it "I had it special made,only one in the world like it..."he says softly and looks into her eyes.

Havoc had even expressed this further in saying "Something doesn't feel right Silver..." Havoc said.

Silver's smile slightly lessened as he said "I'll...I'll be right back...keep that thought."he told Muddle before slowly walking to to the door and waited for Tempest,he felt him coming.

Havoc's voice sounded a bit creepier and more worried,she sounded like she was speaking through gritted teeth "This ought to be good..."

Muddle decided that now was the perfect time to talk to Lightning. She pushed aside the incident from when they first met, and trotted over to him. Even while she walked, Muddle continued to look at Silver's wonderful gift. 

 

She had taken a seat directly opposite from Lightning, and carefully placed the necklace inside the box it came in. She would feel terrible if her shadow had done something else to the necklace. What if the next time, it ruined Silver's gift. 

 

"Cut me some slack, I didn't know would airborne..." Shadow had appeared in the seat next to Lighting, and was answering Muddle's thoughts out loud. She quickly stopped thinking about the necklace, or anything thing else that she wanted to stay within her head, and asked Lightning. "So, how have you been? I'm sure you'v already met..."

 

Shadow was smiling at Lightning. One of its hooves were stretched out and waving towards Lightning, but it was as if Shadow had no bones. The hoof wave making large waves back and forth resembling a giant, wriggling worm.

 

"..." One day she figure out a way to lock that Shadow in her head.

Tempest entered the HQ, and noticed that Silver was waiting for something, possibly him. "This is just perfect." He thought to himself. The cyan pegesus then trotted inside, hoping to avoid a confrontation, and headed towards the kitchen. He needed to think about what he would do about Troy and how to rescue Ivy. "Why would Troy show himself now of all times." He thought.

Flame landed a short way from the HQ and saw somepony with a gray mask. "Um...hello" Flame called out. The pony turned to Flame and summoned a black katana before dashing straight towards him. "Equi-" He was cut short with having to dodge the attack. The pony summoned a second weapon, this one being a rapier with a cylinder in the hilt. 

 

Flame went aflame and glared at the pony. "You want to fight? Then bring it on" Flame hissed.

Silver stopped Tempest in his tracks "Not so fast."he says and looks at him,looking into his eyes and seeing the distress in him "...Something is wrong,tell me."he says and looks to be inquisitive towards Tempest,he blinked once and sat down in front of him.

Tempest glanced at Silver, and shrugged. "I have no idea what you're talking about." He said.

 

Ivy sighed, as night dawned on the forest. "I might as well try to sleep." She thought. The silver unicorn then trotted into the bedroom and laid down. She didn't even hear the door slowly creak open.

 

Troy smiled as he entered his home. He would have a priceless artifact by the end of tomorrow, knowing Tempest's efficiency." He thought, before opening the door to his bedroom. He noticed Ivy, and smirked. "I'll sell her off to one of the slavers well before then." The unicorn then trotted downstairs and slept on the couch.

Silver blinked "Don't make me read your mind..."he says and raises his eyebrow,he moved closer to him slightly,knowing something was wrong with him from the way he looked,sounded,and even smelled!

Havoc sighed "Why is he lying?" She asked,starting to get fed up with this.

Flame charged in at the pony trying to strike fime but was blocked with the blades. Flame ducked and sidestepped the two attacks before jumping up. "Blaze heel kick" he brought his hoof down cracking the ponies mask. "You remind me of a friend of mine" Flame said as the cylinder on the rapier started to spin till the pony thrusted it forward, causing a beam of ice to shoot out.

 

Flame jumped and got grazed by the beam and looked at the pony. He made feathers float around him and shot them forward at the pony before running forward. The pony blocked the feathers and saw Flame about to attack. Being faster then Flame the pony brought his blade forward and stabbed Flame before throwing him to the ground. The pony walked away thinking Flame was dead

Tempest was able to keep his frustration at bay, but this was getting to be annoying. He then laughed slightly. "You would probably get a better explanation just by reading my mind. I would be careful not to stray to far, though. Things aren't exactly rainbows and sunshine in their." The cyan pegesus then smirked, and allowed Silver to probe his mind if he so desired.

Silver narrowed his eyes and scanned his mind,finding small tidbits of his memory of some "Lusty" sessions with his wife,he blushed at those,but he found the core of the worry,"...who's...Troy? And why does he have Ivy? Is she ok?!"he asked,worry gathering in him as well.

Tempest sighed. "Troy is a pony from my past. I wasn't always the protector of the weak and innocent. That's a part of my past that I don't want to talk about." He said. "Troy asked me to find some artifact that was said to be in this city somewhere. As for Ivy, Troy just wants to make sure that I do what he wants. He's always been a manipulative bastard." The cyan pegesus then channeled all of his anger into one punch, and hit the wall, creating a large chunk of it to fall off. "I feel so bloody useless just standing here. I don't even know if Ivy's safe."

 

Xena shook his head. "Tempest, you have to calm down." He said. "We'll get Ivy back."

Silver sighed softly and looked back "Guess another mission is in order then."he says and smiles and says as he walks up to the table "Ok you two,we have a new mission,we have to find Ivy."he says,smiling warmly at Muddle before saying in her ear softly "Why aren't you wearing the necklace? You look beautiful when you wear it....I mean-n-not saying that you don't when you aren't b-but...you just look extra beautiful when you do...I...uhh...I just made this awkward..."he sighs,his cheeks a deep red in blush.

Tempest shook his head. "No. I'm not having anypony else involved in this. I can handle Troy." He said, before putting on a cloak and exiting the HQ. "I have to find that artifact before more ponies get hurt." He thought, as he entered a nearby store. The cyan pegesus browsed the contents of each shelf, and noticed a black amulet with red gems.

 

The store clerk looked at Tempest. "That isn't for sale." He said. "I suggest you but something else."

 

Tempest smirked. "I can make it worth your while." He said, as he produced a large from underneath his cloak. "Would this do?"

 

The clerk nodded. "Get out before anypony else sees you."

 

The cyan pegesus nodded, and headed to Storm Avenue.

Flame limped back to HQ leaving a blood trail as he entered the building. "Silver...was there anypony with a grey mask that is an enemy at all" Flame called out weakly. "If so...I ran into him" Flame added as he went to the kitchen and grabbed a knife and heated it up. "This is going to hurt like a horse" He said

Silver blinked and looked at Flame "Flame...no,there isn't any that I know of..."he said and stopped him from cauterizing the wound,he laied him on a table and looked at the sword wound,he sighed as he looked around,he then shook his head and did what he was about to do and burned it closed,he shook his head before almost running after Tempest,but he felt like he couldn't...

"You don't think that was Equinox...do you" Deranged asked. "I hope not, He wouldn't try to kill anypony without a reason" Flame thought for a moment. "Silver, you don't think Equinox would try to kill any of us...do you" Flame asked as he got up. "He did sem murderous before"

Troy smirked as he appeared in front of Tempest. He had made a profit off of Ivy, and now he would have even more power. "Ah, Tempest. I knew you get that little trinket."

 

Tempest glared at Troy. "Where's Ivy?" He asked.

 

Troy nodded slightly. "All in good time, my friend." The unicorn then blasted Tempest with a burst of magic, sending him into a wall. He then grabbed the amulet and teleported away.

Muddle felt slightly flattered that he would think of her as beautiful. It didn't very awkward to her, it was actually kind of sweet. She was about to apologize for not wearing the necklace when she saw Silver go over to help... Flame!

Muddle saw flame come in and rushed over to help him. She hesitated for a moment, realizing it meant leaving her Shadow with Lightning. When she saw the knife, Muddle freaked out even more. She was happy that Silver had removed it and catalyzed the would with his powers. 

 

When she heard him talking about Equinox acting murderous, she started to shift her back hoof slightly. She knew she wasn't the cause of it, but she still felt like she was partially responsible in some way; hopefully that was just bad feeling.

Shadow worried about Equinox and Flame, but with those two tending to Flame it saw little to get excited over. "That, and his Shadow sat on my chair..."

 

Muddle screamed in her head, hoping it would reach Shadow. "You would let him die over a chair!"

 

Shadow shrugged, "Well yeah, ask Silver what he would do if anyone touched his slinky. Same difference..."

 

"Your unbelievable!"

 

"No, I'm a card. Speaking of which. How about a rousing game of 21 Lightning. Winner get fancy necklac~"

 

Muddle used her magic to slightly choke Shadow. When it broke free, it smiled and put the necklace back in the box. "So, how about 21 and we play with..." It looked through Muddles wallet. "!0 bits sound like a good start?"

 

"One day..." She returned her attention to Flame.

Flame looked at Muddle. "Tell shadow that Equinox is in he chair not my damn shadow" Flame said. "I swear Shadow you are worse then Deranged when he is drunk" Flame said. "Hey at least I have some fun you don't drink at all" Deranged said

Silver looked down "...I've known sweeter ponies that murdered their loved..."he said,referencing to himself and to a few in this room that weren't exactly "Pure",he sighs and looks back "If he has...you know what we have to do..."he says,looking a little saddened that he had done this.

"I'm not going to kill my friend, I knew him since I was a colt I know he wouldn't do this there has to be a reason for all of this" Flame sounded sad by what Silver. "We can't kill him" He said. He looked at Silver. "If you think kiling him is the only way you are wrong"

Muddle spoke up when the suggestion of killing her friend came up. "I agree with Flame! We can't just kill off our friends over some... misunderstanding... Can we?" Shadow noticed the slight change. Muddle seemed to ask the last question with her hopes raised. Shadow replied, "No." in order to keep her in cheek.

 

"R-right, can't we just find and talk to him once Flame is healed?"

@,  Lightning was in a sad daze, then he snapped back to reality and noticed muddles shadow "Huh? sorry did you say something." he said slightly sad as he was still thinking about her, he looked over at Flame and equinox "Hey, when did they get here." he said looking back to shadow.

Silver sighed and shook his head "I know-I know...but...if he's gone off the deep end...he could pose a threat to us all guys!"he exclaimed,talking to Flame and Muddle,"Ok...Ok,I have a plan...we can do our normal things all day...but-"he walks over to his desk and tosses them all ear pieces,"-use these all the time,if something happens,I'll know immediately..."he says before walked back to Muddle and looking at her necklace box,he picks it up and smiles at it slightly before gesturing that he put it on her.

Havoc laughed softly " You truly are a sweetheart aren't you Silver?" she said and softly patted his head.
