That was in 2002/4. Heck Triple H gets Praised for his work nowdays and has a fanbase.

Nowdays the ICW are complaining about Cena winning all the time.

But even then it never got serious. At most he got the "Cena sucks" chants by the males in the crowd while the females and children chant "Lets go Cena"

But more importantly nobody actually tried to threatening Cena, Some of the MLP writers were sent death threats for EQ.

Terry fonk recalls fondly (I shit you not go read mick foleys book) when 3 fans broke into the back and stabbed him and it made him feel like he did a good job as a heal.  I can't speak on todays product,

the first part of my post was revering to the negative names I came up with for the six so see if I get jumped on for making fun of them.

the second half was just touching on a point I made earlier just to say somewhat on topic.

 

a canterlot wedding was overrated to many plot holes and hastily added characters to be a truly great show. never said I disliked it but the question is was it overrated.

1.Its pacing is terrible

2.Shining and Cadence were not devoloped.

3.The Mane five were completely useless.

4.Spike had no Role whats so ever in This episode.

5.Chrysalis was an adult Diamond Tiara whos bad at Planning.

6.The Mane five and Celestia walking out on Twilight scene was the most stupid and crinch worthy moment in the show.

7.Luna had no role.

8.The Ending was rushed.

9.Millions of Plotholes in it.

 

Even Equestria Girls is better than ACW

1. You really need to be more specific with this complaint. MLP has had issues with pacing in every single two parter and even some standard episodes. This is something that it seems is nearly always brought up so yeah pacing is off a bit but this is a general problem for the show as whole. If this alone doesn't make other two-parters bad why does it here? 

 

2. Id have to agree on that. 

 

3. Fighting valiantly against overwhelming numbers of shape shifting entities is being completely useless? 

 

4. That's not necessarily a bad thing. Really I'm struggling to see why its a bad thing, just because he showed up doesn't mean he should get screen time. He's there because it made sense for him to be there. Whilst I like every character being used, that doesn't have to be the case for every episode or even every two-parter. This was a twilight focused episode even the new characters were only expounded upon in the sense of how she related to them emotionally. 

 

5. Wait what? Diamond tiara is a petty bully, not a tyrant with aspirations of obtaining power and control. Also I'm not seeing how her plan was so terrible. Chrysalis knew she needed to sneak in to Canterlot as she knew the Royal Sisters would mop the floor with her. So she sneaks into Canterlot and takes the guise of one of the most trusted ponies there is, Cadence. She knows she is good at changing form but not acting. She needs less scrutiny, she needs an reasonable excuse in case her behavior is scrutinized. The Wedding is one, but perhaps not enough. So she being a trusted princess tells she them of a threat made against Canterlot. Now with focus directed towards an unknown threat and the preparation of a wedding she has far less of a chance at being questioned, and if she is she can claim that stress is the cause of the abnormal behavior. This is why she was the only Changeling, bringing in more simply increases the chances of detection and failure. Now under the guise of a Princess Chrysalis was now privy to pretty much any info she could ever want regarding Canterlot including the duties and whereabouts of the Royal sisters. Now with this knowledge she absorbs Shining Armor's love and drains his magic which also puts him under her control. This meant she also had a trusted pony to come to ardently defend her should she be questioned. She also brain washes a few other ponies for good measure. She builds up more and more power. She despite her power still believes that she cant or shouldn't take on Celestia head on. So she has it timed so that the shield fall during the wedding. Celestia now with her full attention toward the threat of an invading army is open for a direct attack. Chrysalis strikes Celestia and her army puts on the finishing touches. This would most likely also be viable if Luna were present. Now of coarse her plan had failings if it didn't she wouldn't have lost. She didn't anticipate Twilight Sparkle taking such determined interest in her strange behavior, Nor did she anticipate Twilight and a weak Cadence be able to navigate an underground mine in time. She also fails to truly understand love, thinking as solely a source of power to be taken not one that can be reinforced and strengthened by another party.  

 

To be honest I'm more wondering how she knew of the mine. 

 

6. Why? From their perspective Twilight's behavior was deplorable. She bursts in accuses Cadence of being pure evil and provides very little evidence that this is the case. Shining then provides a rather more believable argument. At this point to them Twilight did look like a proper jerk. She busted in leveled accusations at Cadence and to all observers seriously hurt the Princess emotionally. There was nothing there that would make them side with her. Yes they are her friends but that doesn't mean everything she does is to be defended.

 

7. Well more precisely she didn't have a role in the final conflict, she did however have a brief role in the episode as we saw her taking watch over the city at night. I myself would have like Luna to have had a bigger role, but I don't think its  an issue that ruins the episode.

 

8. This should be part of the first complaint as it is a complaint about pacing. 

 

9. Really millions? Well that would be more impressive than anything else as this is only a 22 min show. I mean that's insane! Millions of plot holes I'm wondering how they even fit enough info for millions of plot holes... Rather than grossly over exaggerating I think it would be prudent to actually list your complaints so an actual discussion could take place about them.

Lol, who cares? Everything that has a lot of fans is "overrated".

 

And if you're interested in my opinion on the episode, I like it, I just would not call it one of my all-time favorites. That is all.

You make a few good points that I admit I overlooked, but it's still an EXTREMELY enjoyable episode, and will remain on of my all-time favorites.

 

Plus, did you forget what you were watching? It's My Little Pony. It's never been very complex, or in depth. It's just simple enjoyment, and shouldn't be taken too seriously in my humble opinion.

there was one huge glaring problem with this episode if the changelings fed of love how the heck is invading an causing wide spread panic going to help her at all?

can she only change into girl ponies? if not she really should have replaced Shining armor. and going on with the plan even with the shield there. lay low wait for the security to die down and then have her changeling's sneak in. Queen Cheese Legs really was a poor planer.

you were fairly equal,

well Apple Jack Daniels sounds kind epic honestly.  If i was aj i'd be all over that name.'

While the flaws and problems are present throughout the two parter, I still find it great and enjoyable.

 

Sure, it's mentioned as the all time favorite of season 2, and possibly of all time in the series, but I never found it as my all time favorite.
