Hey all! its Christmas in Canterlot and well going to be New Years too I guess. Christmas is over,but lets pretend its not   everypony is excited for the decorations, the smell of Christmas pies, and waiting to hear the bells of Santas sleigh.

As always around Christmas, everypony wants somepony to share it with, join me on a search for the perfect present, the most amazing Christmas dinner, and mostly love <3. There may be heart ache, and heart break.

 

I wont pair anyone, im sure some ponies have already decided. I havent (: so! lets see how it goes

Repsol trotted around Canterlot's market plaza. His neck warmly covered in his favorite scarf. he sniffed in the air of freshly baked goods and pine trees wich hung in the crisp winter air. Ah, Christmas. I love this. As he made is way around the many stands, he stopped at the one from a local baker. He looked at the many baked treats displayed with tinkling eyes. It all looked great, but a particular batch of chocolate chip cookies catched his eyes. They looked by far the best to him. "Good sir, i'd like some of those cookies over there!" He said gleefully as he fetched some bits to pay.

After eating a few cookies, he decided to safe them for later as he started to trot around again. Enjoying the christmas spirit wich hung high in Canterlot today.

Repsol trotted around Canterlot's market plaza. Silver was walking along, trying to buy that last gift or two. She wasn't really in the Christmas mood since she felt she would spend it alone as usual. She looked at her list, "Cookies, thats the last thing.." when she reached the stand she saw a familiar stallion trotting away. "Repsol? Is that you?"

Repsol turned to the voice behind him, spotting a familliar face. "Silver? Long time no see!" He tried to reply around a mouth full with the bag holding his cookies. Remarkably, it came out pritty well, maybe a bit muffled tough. A gleefull expression forming on his face as he made his way over to her.

Thunder had flew into Canterlot covered in snow. He shook himself off and proceeded. He then came across a stallion and a filly mingling with each other. "Happy Hearth's Warming y'all." He stated as he approached the two ponies. He then eyed the cookies, which one of them was holding. "Say, where'd you get those delicious cookies?" Thunder asked.

Yes, it has been quite a while. How are you? How have you been? Laughing when he tried to talk around his cookies, she helped him put it in his bag, You know what? I have everything I needed, would you like to get a coffee or something? and we can catch up?

Repsol chuckled a bit as Silver helped him with his cookies. "Thanks. for that, talking just got a whole lot easier." As he heared the mare's invitation, he perked up a little. He hadn't seen her for a while so it should be pretty fun, and he didn't have a whole lot better to do anyway. "Yeah sounds fun." He said as a smile formed on his muzzle. "Where do you wanna go?"

"Well, I guess they're in their business, and don't have time to at least say hi to a pony standing right by them." Thunder thought to himself. He then tapped the stallion gently on the shoulder. "Excuse me, but I was saying something to you, but it seems like you ignored me...not to be rude or anything." Thunder stated.

Before she could answer, a stallion had approached them, she had never seen this stallion before so she could only assume that he was a friend of Repsol. Oh my goodness!, hello dear, I am so sorry, we didn't mean to ignore you. Do you know Repsol?

"Winter! Are you ready? I want your help picking out gifts!" Evergreen, an Earth Pony mare with a green coat and brown hair, called out, waiting for her sister by the door.
"Yes, I'm coming," Her sister, Wintergreen, replied, trotting down the stairs in their Canterlot home. 
"Great!" Ever opened the door, holding it for her sister. "Let's go!"
They left the house and trotted around the city, taking in the decorations, until they game to the supermarket.
"Let's see if we can find something here," Evergreen said, turning to Winter. She beamed. "I want to get something nice for Crimson."
Winter chuckled and followed her sister.

Repsol turned around to the source as he felt a tap on his shoulder. Silver was already talking to the stallion who was responsible for it. Turns out he already tried talking to him. Repsol formed a small smile as he scratched the back of his head sheepishly. "Oh buck me, sorry about that! What was it you where saying?"

"No, not at all. I was lured here because of the smell of cookies. Where'd you get them anyway? Is there a small little bakery they only open up for the holidays. Haven't been to Canterlot in a while. By the way, the name's Thunder Dash, I don't think we've met before." Thunder Dash stated.

Repsol let out a sigh he didn't realise he was holding as the pony before him replied with a pretty relaxed attitude. "Nice to meet you, Thunder Dash. My name's Repsol Rave, or just repsol for short." He shot a warm smile in the direction of the pegasus. As for the cookies, i got them at that market over there." He pointed a hoof in the direction of the market at Canterlot plaza. "There's a small stand over there, and they have some awesome treats!"

"Thanks Repsol. I might go there shortly." He stated as he gathered some electricity and made a scarf appear from the blue. He then wrapped himself around with it. "Ah, Thunder why do you keep forgetting to bring your scarf out at this time of year?" Thunder Dash thought to himself.

Winter and Ever had found a few things, including something for Crimson, Evergreen's best friend. They were both happy and excited to go home and wrap their gifts.
They were both getting a bit hungry, so they decided to go grab a snack to hold them until they got home. They got in line at a stand that sold cookies and other treats and pastries.

Crimson went through the shops looking for something to buy his friend. It had been a while since he had seen Evergreen. What a busy life both of them lead. Still thats what Hearts Warming Eve was for. As he trotted through the market looking for gifts to get her, he started to get hungry. He went and got in line for cookies at a small stand, and was surprised to see Evergreen there with her sister. He smiled to himself.

Wintergreen had been looking around boredly, waiting in line, and she noticed out of the corner of her eye that Crimson Star, a friend of hers and Evergreen's best friend, trotted up to the line, a pony behind them. She snickered quietly and whispered to her sister, 
"Don't look now, but your coltfriend's in the line behind us."
Evergreen, confused, looked around, blue eyes searching the line. "My coltfrie-" she blushed as she noticed Crimson in the line. Her head whipped towards Winter.
"H-he's not my coltfriend! He's just my friend!" she protested.
Winter chuckled and rolled her eyes. She sometimes teased her sister, but they both knew she never really meant it.

 "Hey, Crimson!" she called, turning and waving to the stallion.

Crimson smile and got out of line to stand nex to them "hey evergreen, hey winter" he said to both of them "long time no see" he said. His heart rate started to increase, he always for slightly nervous around Evergreen. They ha been friends for a long time and he had started to have feelings for her, yet he never ha said anything not wanting to ruin their friendship.

Evergreens blush intensified and butterflies fluttered in her stomach as Crimson came over and greeted them, but she tried to will it away and plastered a nervous mile on her face. She'd known him since they were foals, and they'd always been close friends, but a few years ago, she realized she had feelings for him. She had no idea if he felt the same, so she'd kept quiet. 
"H-hi, Crimson," she stuttered. Her sister giggled quietly.
"Hello, Crimson.  Yeah, it has been a long time," Winter said, giving Crimson a friendly smile.

Crimson also blushed slightly. "Its good to see you two, its been practiclly a month." he said. Crimson had been busy making maps latley for the Canterlot Army. Now he was happy to be back and what better then to spend it with his friends. "Am having a party on Hearts Warming Eve, would you mares like to come, am having a few others as well."

Winter smiled again.
"Sure, we'd love to come," she said.
"Yeah, should be fun," Evergreen replied, giving Crimson a small smile, still nervous.
The last pony in front of them paid and trotted away. Winter stepped up to the stand and waved for Crimson and Evergreen to follow.

Crimson followed his eyes still on Evergreen. Her mane, her eyes, her tail... 'lets not keep going' he thought to himself ashamed. He looked away again blushing, finally he turned. "This is great, have you done your holiday shopping yet?" he asked them trying to keep conversation going.

Ever stepped up beside Winter, looking at Crimson out of the corner of her eye. His bright green eyes, his mane, the little cowlick that he'd always had... Of course, she didn't like him just because he was cute; she'd initially fallen for him because he was so kind and friendly.
Snap out of it Ever, you're staring now! she mentally scolded herself, blushing harder. She suddenly found the ground very interesting. 
Winter giggled, noticing both of their cheeks going pink, and the fact that they were avoiding eye contact. She found it cute. 

"What would you guys like?" she asked them.

Crimson shook his head, his mane flopping about. "Am fine thanks," he said holding up a little pastry bag with a scone in it. "Ive got something" he saw Ever staring at the ground, he trotted over "You okay?" he asked her slightly worried.

Winter shrugged and ordered a croissant for both her and her sister each.
Evergreen was startled when she heard Crimson ask if she was okay. She looked up, a nervous grin on her face.
"Oh, uh, yeah!" she said, trying to act casual. "Just, uh... Thought I saw something. On the ground. But I was wrong." She awkwardly smiled at him.
Winter rolled her eyes upon hearing this. 
Oh Eve, could you be any more obvious? she thought as she turned and handed Evergreen her croissant.
"To answer your question earlier, we were actually just holiday shopping now. I still have a few gifts to go get, including Ever's,, so I'll just catch you two later, okay?"
