Religious cutie marks.

Okay i was watching Any's video and he did a voice dub over for a cthulu question,

 

 

now, it got me thinking ha why don't fans make cthulu cutie marks or other religious symbols?

 

If someone had a symbol for cthulu, hastur, a pentagram,

or something benavolent that would be pretty awesome

 

for their ocs.

I don't think there is a purpose for the show to include religious cutie marks or for people to make them. It could probably cause some conflict in some fashion, but again it's not needed. If they want to make them, be my guest.

because cutie marks symbolise the pony not their faith or belief. if that were the case, ever pony would have celestia's mark or all pegusi would have wing cutie marks,

 

plus religious symbols already symbolise something already, to put on on a pony is just ponyifying it and mostly likely produce a very crap OC...

But yeah Celestia is basically the God of Equestria so they would all just have the same Cutie Mark has her's if they were to have religious marks.

Cutie marks represent the pony themselves, not what they believe in. I suppose a monk, or priest pony could have a religious cutie mark. Also, if somebody wants their oc to have a religious cutie mark, then that's fine with me.

I agree 100% with Scootalove on this one. Religion does not need to be apart of the show in any fashion and also there would be no need for it anyways to be in the show. It is a kids cartoon show... why would you want religion of any kind to be in there. The two just do not go together and plus the show already teaches wonderful morals as it is.

Religious cutie marks will never ever ever ever be in the show becaue it will cause the shitstorm to end all shitstorms, with oc's people can do whatever they want. I even read this one fanfic where this one stallion had a penis for a cutie mark, but that is even less likely to be in the show for obvious reasons but since it is fannon rather than cannon no harm no foul,
