*Chuckles at Night Lights new found confidence he gained from freely being able to express his true form, even if he didn't show it though, of course, he thought grinning to himself, he can't exactly show his form here or it will explode the whole bar  *  *Grins over at him* Yup, I tried my best though... *Her ears went down and blushed massievly that Sole had heard every word they said even though with even their ears they thought they whispered as low as they could* Um...um...well ya...*she shut her trap and tried to make herself as small as possible*

 

Well, dragon's out of the bag! *he let out a bellow of laughter followed by his dragon roar or joy, shaking the tavern as he did despite still being in his pony form*

 

Ah...been wanting to do that all night! Only got a chance to roar and stretch out these lungs back in the Everfree Forest! Yes... I am in fact a dragon *his eyes light up not feeling ashamed in the slightest, but more relieved that he no longer had to hide it* Skylar here *he slapped his friend's back* has done his best to teach me how to behave in pony society but alas there's just old tricks you cant break out of an old dragon... Well wouldn't say I'm old but-

 

Enough Night Lights...*she pulled her hoodie down* your going to scare every pony here...

 

*Shrugs* Nonsense! You all aren't afraid of me are you? *he looked around at Sole to Icarus to Crimson unknowningly while shaking his head in dragon fashion* Why would you be afraid of me now? Isn't it obvious that if I were a dragon out ot cause trouble... I'd of done it already? I'm still in pony form aren't I? *snickers and sips the mug fast* And lets get rid of these mugs finally... sole laughed "I knew I've seen those habits before, but I just couldn't place it. I actually feel stupid for not guessing this earlier. And what's that about being afraid? Forgive us for concealing the truth of it all *he grinned while pulling his nervous alicorn wife closer to him* She strongly feels that all of Ponyville are jsut not ready to accept there's a dragon living above them in one of their mountains not far from here! *he laughs out in his chest, enjoying the new found freedom and acceptance in this pony tavern, not realizing he was in fact a little sugar high from the cider* To be honest...the last time I was in my dragon from in Ponyville offically seen by the townsfolk... It was over a fight with one of my cousins from the North-

 

Night Lights... *she cut him off* please stop...I don't want them to knwo more about us-

 

Blissy... *nuzzles her cheek* Relax, you got me here, and I dont' sense any hostility coming from any body here *eyes Crimson slightly* am I right? *giggles* Anyway as I was saying. My cousin Backard heh...tried to eat my fiance, now wife here *rubs her side holding her close* He litterally...crashed into Ponyville, tried to tear up the town and eat her along with our friends in the process. Princess Celestia even sent out Canterlot soliders to aid in defending the town. I managed to get there when they were being overpowered. Since I have this unique ability thanks to a good unicorn friend of ours, I was able to double my dragon size and kill my cousin before he harmed or...*growls* murdered...anymore in Ponyville. Needless to say he was a strong fat green dragon and I was a mere slender wyvern... not exactly intimidating to him. Course I've grown alot bigger now! But my wife still prefers I be a pony in the open of the town. Understandable since some are still not over that incident nearly 2yrs ago.

 

He actually teaches in Ponyville *she cut him off, feeling he was getting too cocky* he teaches colts and fillies about dragon lore, in the hopes one day they wouldn't be as afraid of dragons. He's actually quite good with the young ones.

 

Now if only I can be as good as with you *he giggled and nuzzled her neck*

 

Nights please... not in front of everyone... *she turned to Icarus realizing he had seen other creatures not as odd as Night Lights* You have seen things more...then just a shape shifting dragon? I thought Nights was one of a kind, considering he was gifted with this through a magical fisher that our friend discovered. I mean... aside from other dragons and gryphons and some tribal ponies...and..*shudders the thought of the evil shadow* I only recently ran into a pack of Diamond Dogs. I suppose I don't get out much either!

*He observed the flicker of fire in the unicorn pirate's eye, and his lips curled slightly, showing his fangs before lowering them back down, sensing a pleasent rivaly he'd not felt in some time since he's not seen another dragon in awhile* Well then my pirate pony friend...You and I should be good friends then *he raised his glass to him then sipped in respect*

 

*She giggled, finally loosing up and trotted over to Crimson* Well you know... I do have quite the nasty kick!

*Smiles at his friend and then hops back over to the table they were sat at originally, he found the bar stools rather uncomfortable and he didn't have that much to talk about anyway. He sinks back into the comfy leather chair and kicks his hind legs up on the table, stretching and yawning a little. He shoots a look over to the door, the temptation to go out for a flight was strong, he was feeling pretty groggy and the room was quite stuff, it would be nice to feel the fresh wind on his face again. Gulps down the rest of his drink up and sits up, looking at the door longingly, his ears perk up as he hears the breeze pick up outside, he plays with the idea about going out in his head*  Wouldn't hurt to get a little fresh air would it? *Mumbles to himself*

"I met it in the western desert. It was made by some, long gone tribe of ponies, they worshipped it as a god. We released it, but the people of the desert panicked, and rejected the dragon. *Giggles* actually it was I who came to him, *she pondered the long fateful memory for a moment before continuing* When I was...well a little bit younger then I was, and defiently did NOT have this horn...or golden hooves *she clapped her hooves together* I was just a middle class pony from Apple Loosa. A few years back when I was 24yrs old, my mother Gentle Feather, surprised me with a ticket to the Grand Galloping Gala! I had always dreamed of going there, not just for the sake of being with the royals, but I had hopes to meet new ponies...see new places...but most of all...*sighs heavily* what my heart ached the most...to find my true love.

 

My mother went through all the trouble to make me a lovely gown she took months to do in secret without my knowing. I tried to refuse her but she insisted... So long story short, I made it to the Gala... meet some...unicorns *paws the ground*

 

*Snorts* they treated her like she was a rift raft or something *he growled* it was written all over her face when she came to me. But I'll let her tell it, *he turned back to Sole* So you are married as well? To another gryphon or a mare?

 

*Continues* Well...ya with the way i was treated by some of the fancier unicorn ponies...I felt outcasted and out of place...embrassed...they made fun of my tail and ears...*she sniffed* So I galloped out to one of the ball room balconies and cried alone. But then I saw this magnificant thing happen in front of the full moon! It was a display of northern lights, red and blue in color! Then out from the lights...came this siheloette of a large creature...So handsome and brave looking...Naturally i should have been scared...instead I was...dazzled... Something happened within me and I just...had to follow this being... It flew all the way across Ponyville and into the mountains. It was a scary flight for me...the wings were rough that night and it had started to snow there...I saw a cave and tried to seek shelter there, ended up busting my wings doing so. But little did I realize... I had crash landed into the being I was following, his home! And thats how I met Night Lights!

 

Rather then eat me... he was I think entranced as much as I was.

 

I was shocked to find her in my cave right when I was about to call it a night, yet here was this grounded pegasi mare...wearing a lovely but torn up gown...staring up at me like a little filly...To me I was staring at a princess from the start... i was so entranced by her that...I just...heh I didn't knwo what to do ahem *turns back to Sole again* quite the story I admit how we met... it never gets old for us.

*He decides to go out of the door to get some fresh air, he nuzzled open the solid wooden door with his nose and hopped outside into the breezy night, the wind blowing his mane and tail back behind him. he closes his eyes again enjoying being out in the chilly night rather than being cooped up inside the stuffy tavern, immediately he hoped that the others didn't think that he had run off but he only planned to be out for about 10 minutes or so anyway, so it shouldn't be much of a problem.* 

 

*Stretches his wings out while trying to balance precariously on his three legs he swayed a little as the wind picked up, a look of uncertainty flickered across his face for a moment but he grinned shaking his head as he took off about thirty feet into the air, he spread his large wings out and beat hard trying not to get swept back, he noticed it was darker than usual but it was manageable for him even with his slung up leg. Already being out in the open and flying again lifted his mood a little, not much made him happier than being out in the fresh air getting his blood pumping, he never was one for sitting in the same place to long*

"That's quite and amazing story... not many ponies find true love like you two have...much less with a natural predator like a dragon...by all accounts, that should be impossible to most ponies...but then again, love always achieves the impossible. On another note, I hate most royalty...they're snobbish bastards who think their above everypony else...of course, you, Celestia, Cadence, and...hehe, Luna are okay...but I tend not to get along with royalty or high class...in fact, I steal from them to feed the poor, keeping only enough for myself to survive...that's my lot in life...well, that and adventuring..." he said with a smile.

I guess by pony standards it is..."big" but we don't live beyond our means. All Nights needs, besides me! *she winked at him* is his hoard to sleep on and gems to eat, I just like to have my bed, a cloest to hold my belongings and a kitchen to cook in.

 

Too much if you ask me, I don't see the point of a "bed" *he shrugged* but whatever makes my little Blissy happy.

Not that I'm bothered, I prefer it that way. It feels acwkward being summon to a castle by Celestia's orders...then showing up the way I am dressed in my cape.

A while back a few extremists tried making luna queen of equestria, and sadly celestia supporters weren't behaving much better. Anyways, I was neutral and she was a celestia supporter. I visited her cell when she was captured by team luna and helped free her, but only after crimson here knocked her out. And after the skirmish we started seeing each other and quickly fell in love. And here we are today." He explained, sipping his cider
