I was surfing on facebook, and I found a group named "Bronies must be stopped." someone said we should kill ourselves and it's good if us "perverts" are dead. And this is coming from a MOTHER. I've also seen other cyber bullying for other things not just liking a certain show. I don't even understand why we have to be so cruel to each other. Then I got called a lot of words by three people in this group JUST because I had said "If you don't like it, Just ignore it." I am honestly sick to my stomach because of so many people being bullied... I have been for years. I've been through stuff like that before.. The fact that ANYONE would hate a certain religion, or skin color is ridiculous. It's just appalling.. I need hugs ;_;

But with all of this, I want to say, I love you my new family of Bronies. I bet I could tell anypony anything here, and I would never get judged. I guess I could call a lot of us on this site my family. We don't judge each other, We know the ways of the Elements of Harmony, we belong to them and they belong to us. I love you guys. Thanks for being there when others weren't.

People can easily get the wrong interpretation of us without knowing what's really going on, but someone wishing suicide onto another is just plain wrong. No matter the circumstances. And, a mother? That just makes it even more wrong!

The fact that anyone should make a huge deal out of such a small thing is just ridiculous. We never did anything wrong, so we don't deserve to be so pitifully criticised. Especially wishing death on us.... That's something I just can't understand.

Let me be a bit harsh here.

 

Not all Bronies are good people. That happens in every big group. I know of a stalker whovian, a pedophile otaku and a gun maniac psychopath trekkie. We must assume that not every brony is as good people as you or me can be.

With that said, do not let this groups let you down. You are not the worst of the Bronies, and you should not pay attention to people who judge a group for the actions of individuals. Just be yourself, and do not use the brony branding as an identity, because You, as an individual have unlimited potential. Raise your brow, be proud, try to be better than yesterday everyday. Laugh on the people who try to put you down, but be humble and don't mock them. You are a big person, and every moment you live you set an example. The brighter you shine, the more people will look at you.

That's terrible. It's weird how some people can actually feel that way towards one another. Likes and dislikes are subjective. There are certainly those out there who don't like My Little Pony, but that shouldn't be a reason to wish anything evil on those that do. Society should base itself on being accepting of those around us, not on trying to be better and making others feel inferior. 

 

It is certainly making it more difficult to be one's self when this sort of thing is going on. Just one more reason I prefer to stay a closet brony. No one should have to deal with this sort of thing.

And yet people don't bash on older men who like shows like the Power Puff Girls, right? Or even older women who like shows such as Transformers? The brony hater group is full of trolls and stubborn morons. It's disappointing and sad, but that's how the world is. There are many things (and people) that are just disgusting. A lot of them will say extreme things, but we can't do anything about it. Best thing to do? Ignore them. If you argue against them, especially if you're on the internet, even if you're calm and rational in your argument, they will just insult you, call you names, and not even think about what you said even once, so it's useless to do that. Ignoring them, doing your best to avoid brony haters, and moving on when you see their ignorance, will save you time and best of all won't make you sad.
