AppleShy Sparkle 312 November 4, 2011 Share November 4, 2011 That, and it's not always easy for children to sue their own parents. No matter how horrible and unreasonable, they're still "big" people kids look up to. Hence howWe teach children to respect and obey adults, no wonder some of the latter can abuse it and go unreported. Also, i think it must be pretty hard on his feelings to sue his own mother. Better run, run, run, run, run.
vιɴyl ѕcrαтcн 8 November 4, 2011 Share November 4, 2011 (edited) Honestly, I feel bad for him. And his parents. I mean, everytime a new episode of MLP:FiM comes on I play it as loud as I can. My parents don't mind at all! I give all of my pity to this guy, and I'll add him to my 'epic ponies list'. Founder Twilight Sparkle ✨ 8,526 November 5, 2011 Founder Share November 5, 2011 Stories like these make me not want to live on this planet anymore. It reminds me of this woman in my area that tripped on her way out of the emergency room, and had to wait for an ambulance to be dispatched from the hospital to her location (ergo, the same hospital) because it was standard protocol. Hopefully the fact that hundreds of people are giving support and encouragement to their child should show the parents that bronies are not creepers who live in basements and watch ponies. He has no way to receive care packages and whatnot from fellow bronies without giving his address out to complete strangers he has hardly even met online. I know most bronies are great people who would not show up at his friend's house to rape him/his friend/both of them, but that won't stop a mom like this from having a field day with it. 2 Avatar credit: robinrain8 Signature credit: Kyoshi

Similarly... I've got an older brother that works as a bus driver for disabled and/or elderly people that can't get around on their own. A few years ago he dropped a lady in her seventies off, only to see her slip in some mud or something on her way to her house. She was unable to pick herself up without assistance. Policy dictated that he could not provide assistance in any way, apart from calling an ambulance... and leaving her to soak in the mud until it arrived. He got around this by kneeling down next to her, and having her use his knee to help herself up. He was nearly fired for his trouble, and would have been if he hadn't been able to make the point that he didn't actually do anything to help her himself. I have no words for this. 1 "Well," said Pooh, "what I like best—" and then he had to stop and think. Because although Eating Honey was a very good thing to do, there was a moment just before you began to eat it which was better than when you were, but he didn't know what it was called. PlNKlE PIE 364 November 5, 2011 Share November 5, 2011 Edit his 5 I keep forgetting That's even worse. That notion is both extremely stereotypical and nonsensical. He's five. A child. She should be glad he's actually watching one of the few good cartoons still on TV, not shunning it and labeling him in a bigoted way that wouldn't make sense even if he was older. I'm truly baffled as to where people derive such bizarre and morally repugnant beliefs. 3 "Well," said Pooh, "what I like best—" and then he had to stop and think. Lady Rarity Pony 4,892 November 5, 2011 Share November 5, 2011 If your parent is referring to their 5 year old son as "gay" that's pretty messed up on their part. It's different when refer to someone *cough cough* past puberty by that but when you direct that at a child it's really wrong in my eyes. .___. LRP's opinions are subject to change without notice. Sadly, in my opinion, these are the very same type of people who assume only middle-aged, heftier women watch Oprah and that all people who watch anime are nerds/geeks who want to somehow become "Japanese", whatever that means. Viscra Maelstrom 3,718 November 5, 2011 Share November 5, 2011 I remember that show always being on the morning when I was in elementary school. We turned it on just for the lulz and to make fun of it. It was so much fun saying something completely downright ridiculous and/or explicit everytime they prompted the audience with a question and getting a positive response out of it. xD Soundcloud---------Twitter---------Tumblr---------DeviantArt
