Jack looked at Flame and smirked "Clarent wants to claim his revenge, and my ambition will not burn out till that Firelight pest is dead, I may be reborn but I still serve the Peacekeepers, I'm going to report to my generals and request a search team" Jack looked into the sky and retracted his visor, he wondered what his generals would think of him, Stallion or Machine?

"They think you are dead though what will they do if they see you" Flame asked as he walked up to Blaze.

 

 

Meanwhile... 

 

 

"You sure you can revive him like that?" A voice asked as Equinoxes body laid on a table. "Yes but unlike Flame we can keep his brain in his body and leave only a few vital organs everything else we will replace" Another voice said. "Then do it replace what is needed and keep what is good in his body...enhance a few things of his also" The voice said

"He's not dead you know... The generals will welcome me with open arms, I was always there favorite" Jack was sure of himself, the generals owed him a few favors in any case, he was still a commander of the Peacekeepers, he still had allies as well "even if they don't I want revenge, Firelight escaped from my grasp, I will not let him escape again, no matter the cost. The trouble will be if the generals do not approve it may be a problem dealing with them, they are very strong."

"Why are you guys called Peacekeepers..you don't seem to do any Peace Keeping and who cares he won't be able to come back Equinox lost a lot of organs you only lost your heard and intestines the rest was easy" He said as he heard more of what Jack said.

"Yes but I made you stronger you can take the generals on and be fine since your faster, stronger, better then you were before. You can repair your own wounds unless you are injured by a HF blade" Flame said

 

 

 

"Get to work on his body...." The voice said "Yes mam" The other voice said as sounds of machines and everything started to work on something.

Renegade smiled and basked in glory before slowly totting back to his bunks,he then put away his armor and weapon before slowly trotting out of the pit area,he yawned softly as he headed to his friend's house,Firelight and Sky's house,he had no home,so he lived there.

(we are at my characters hideout getting ready to leave to make our way to my contact.)

 

Shadow watched as Firelight walked around with Sky, Shadow didn't want to admit it but for a loner he was actually glad to be in a small group. But he knew that they would have to keep Sky safe until she was able to fend for herself. "Would you like to get a small training session in with Sky before we leave Firelight? I have some last minute things to take care of."

"I may be stronger, but no one has survived to tell the tale of a generals attack" Jack heard the rumors, each general mastered many types of magic and all wielding different weapons that they had much skill with. "High frequency blades are hard to come by, I'm not afraid of death, if I'm to die then I'll die, it's about past my time anyway, I'm going to confront my generals if you'll excuse me Flame, one more thing , we do keep the peace, we keep the putrid rats out of our great city, and will continue to do so until all obey by our rules."

Equinox opened his eyes and looked at his new self. "You're still human since we use Nano machines when fixing your body up" Equinox nodded. "Good to know you hearing works what about your visionary in your right and left eye" Equinox looked around and spoke. "Both language and vision are good and working" He said. "Good now try out your HF Muramasa blade on these dummies" Two fake robots appeared and Equinox took out a red glowing blade that produced electricity. He cut the dummies in half  with ease and dodged bullets from turrets before slicing them in half. "Strength, reaction, and speed are in top condition" The voice said happily. "Equinox get shot a few times we want to see something" The voice said as a turret started shooting Equinox. It stopped soon after and the wounds on Equinox healed. "Healing factor is perfect...Equinox I believe you are ready for field work...and to get revenge on the ones who killed you" As this was said equinox sheathed the blade and went to the mare that was speaking.

Renegade looked around at their house a moment before thinking hard a moment and looked towards the hideout of one of Firelight's friend,he blinked,opened his wings and started flying towards it,he slowly landed at the front door and took a deep breath,puffing out his chest to show his braveness as he slowly knocked on the door,he waited for a response.

Ambiance had left. She was now done with her family and thier brutal ways. She had abandoned her safety and comfort in order to get away from them. The air was chilling, she shivered, fearful, and alone.  She had never actually seen such a place. She had always looked through the comfort of a window down unto New World City. Four menacing-looking indeviduals shot glances at her. She didn't belong here. She watched as they followed her, slowly. She felt sick by what they may do to her. She sped up. They followed. She began to run, in a panic. She couldn't help but scream:

"Please! Somepony help!"

She cried as she ran, as they began to catch up...

Traveller opened his eyes. He rubbed them with his hooves as he looked around, awoken from his dream. He sat up and looked around his simple shack. Nothing had been looted, thankfully. He got up and took the last thing of bread from his emptying sack. He chewed on the stale bread and swallowed, knowing it would catch up with him later. He sighed and poked his head out of the shacks window. Traders moving, theives pick pocketing. It was the usual. He heard a loud scream behind his house. He wanted to ignore it, considering many of these we're heard. But it was right behind his shack, or at least the building his shack was on. Taking his knife, he went out and poked his head over the edge to see a mate running from what seemed to be a few stallions.

 

'One of me, a bunch of them. Oh well.' He sighed as he began running down the stairs to attempt to help. His knife was small, or compared to whatever the stallions had. He turned the corner. He saw one stallion limping behind, his left hoof hurt. He stabbed this one and left his knife as he grabbed the holstered gun. His two friends now turned to Traveller.

 

Traveller shot once, hitting the shoulder of one pony. The other fired, hitting Traveller in the leg. Traveller fell to the ground but got off another shot, this one grazing the pony he had shot earlier.

Jack could hear the screams of a pony, though he was no longer human, he had his dignity, his job as a Peacekeeper was to protect those who couldn't protect themselves. Jack drew Clarent and trotted toward what looked like 4 muggers, some pony had already stepped in to help, he looked as the stallion took shots at the mugger, before the mugger could fire another shot , Jack stabbed the stallion in the chest, Jack doubted he even felt it. Jack looked at the pony who had helped the young mare. He smirked and was off before the mare could even realize Jack was there leaving the stallion there with all the credit and his life. jack didn't care much for attention, honestly he could care less he had more important things to do.

Shadow stopped when he heard the knock on the door. He walked over to the door and magically had his blades at the ready, while he used his magic to envelope the door. Shadow opened it quickly and reacted with great speed, his two blades held closely to the intruders throat while his katana was poised for the chest. "Who are you and how did you find my hideout, it's very well concealed!?" Shadow wouldn't kill unless he had to do so, but this was a very threatening case. Somepony had found his secure hideout and could very well be somepony sent to kill them. Shadow was ready to take action in a split second, and if necessary he was ready with high level magic.

She heard gunfire, and panicked more. She continued to run.

 

There was silence, and she froze. She was still terrified, swallowed, and turned around.

 

She saw two stallions. One was a great distance away, the other, greatly injured. Her persuers were either dead or passed out.

 

She tried to speak to the injured pegasus. "U-um-um... Are you okay?"

 

She turned to the other fleeing stallion, and yelled, again.

 

"Help!" She was unsure if she was heard, trying to speak to Traveler again, noticing the wound on his leg. "C-come on, you'll be fine..."

 

She was even more terrified than before...

'Im fine.' Traveller said flatly as he took his knife from a dead stallions back. He wrapped the holster around his and put the gun there, guessing it only had 3 or 4 bullets left. 'Just...be careful, ok?' He said with a grimace as he tried walking on three legs. With his wing out getting back up to the roof wouldn't be easy.

After Patterson had calmed down and was a better mood, they continued their journey to the town that once was Ponyville. It was now a sad, dismal, and overpopulated place where the poor and the common thugs and bounty hunters lived on the outskirts, and the rich and powerful ponies, like the crime bosses and lords, lived in the center of town.

 

Patterson and River began making there way around town stopping at the market and a couple stores, picking up some necessities. As they passed by a dark alleyway, a shadowy figure emerged from the darkness, and attempted to get at Patterson from behind with a knife. Patterson, noticing the approaching danger, immediately reached under his trench, and clenched a short metal stick, concealed in his coat, with his mouth. Then in one swift motion, he tilted his head so that the metal stick was sideways and it extended into a staff, sending Patterson into the air, where he spun around on the staff kicking the stallion behind him in the face with both of his hind legs, and landing smoothly back on the ground facing his opponent, who was sent flying back a few feet from the blow. He recovered and faced Patterson head on, then he grabbed his weapon with his magic and got ready to charge. Patterson twirled his bostaff and took a ready stance, while River remained behind him. The unicorn charged, with his knife forward. Pat easily dodged the weapon and struck the stallion in the side of the head, diverting his charge towards a wall and breaking his concentration, thus causing him to drop his weapon. As soon as the unicorn recovered some sense and once again became aware of his surroundings, he saw that he was pinned to a wall. Patterson poked his bostaff against the unicorn's chest, came in real close to his face, and glared at the stallion saying

 

Pat: "What's ours, is ours. You keep you dirty hooves to your self!" (he released the unicorn, who immediately ran off) "This is why I dislike coming here." (he said as he put his bostaff away) "Let's get out of here!"

 

And they resumed their course down the dirty street.

Jack looked at the two down by the street next to the bloody mess of corpses, unfortunately the mare had spotted him, but not before he could get away, he heard footsteps closing in, more thugs he presumed, but it wasn't, it was none other than Peacekeeper militia responding to the gun shots

"What happened here?" One soldier spoke as another checked the corpses and another pointed a gun at traveller

"Damn" Jack spoke, Peacekeepers weren't calm and understanding to people like traveller, but traveller had done a noble thing

He stepped down from the rooftops and confronted the 3 armed militia

"Lower your weapon and stand down troops"

"Commander Blaze, we were notified of your death..." A troop spoke with a trembling voice as of scared of Jacks new appearance

"Leave these two alone and report back to your stations"

"Yes sir" the troops replied and marched off

He was injured, and it was her fault. She knew she should've never left home.

 

"L-let me help you. Th-this is m-my fault." She wrapped her front hooves around him, trying to help him walk. She didn't want to let him go on his own, he was injured. Helping him was the only grasp with normality she could find.

 

She saw the gun pointing at them. She panicked. She heard nothing, she only heard blurrs. When the peacekeepers had left, she spoke to the commander.

 

"Th-thank you..."

Traveller stopped at the sight of the gun and looked down. 'So this is how I die. Not in a blaze, but punished for helping. Typical.' He sighed. He heard a voice call from above and looked up. The troops moved away from him and left. He took a deep breath, realizing his close brush with death. When the mate came over and treys to help he stopped her. 'No, it's alright. I'm fine. I have plenty of medical supplies up top.' He lied.

She continued to speak. "Th-thank you. I-if it weren't for you..." She didn't want to think about what would've happened if not for him. She looked to the ground, shamed.

 

She turned to the pegasus, seeing that he had already gone. She did hope he was okay...

 

She was still terrified, shaking. She went to the strong, noble pony. She needed comfort in these times. She began to panic, and cried. She didn't want to be here, but it was far too late to go back home. Even if she could, she would never return to her family.

Firelight heard the knock on the door. He told Sky to stay put and followed behind Shadow to the door. When it was opened he recognized the pony in the doorway. "Renegade? What are you going here?" Then he heardscreams and gunshots. Not waitng for an aanswer he rushed past the two ponies facing off amd ran towards the noise.

Renegade looked at the knives at his throat and the swords to his chest,"Well...is that any way to treat a guest?...I'm here because Firelight showed me here before... My name is Renegade Lighter,I am the Champion of the Frozen Wastes,though I don't think you have heard of me...I am a friend of Firelight and Sky's if you have not noticed."he said in a factual tone,his eyebrow raised slightly,he smiled a slick half smile to Shadow,"So,can I come in or are you gonna stand here in the cold with me?"he asked,but then he heard the scream,he blinked and looked behind him and was pushed away by his friend,he then gulped softly and followed his friend,taking the two katanas by force from Shadow and flying beside his friend,his face turning to stone cold calmness as he closed in on the scene of the mugging,he then stood on his read hooves and growled,but it was all over,he blinked and looked around at the bodies,this was no new sight to him,so he just stepped on the bodies to reach the young mare,he then asked softly,"Are you ok,you seem a bit frazzled...here,let me help you,I'm not bad like those ponies",he looked at the swords and tossed them away,he then got on all fours again and smiled softly at her.

"Where could Jack be" Equinox asked himself as he looked everywhere around the city and didn't find him. "Scouting skills are a bit rusty but that shouldn't matter" He said as he got on the ground. "Once I find him I'll kill him for sure..." Equinox said as he was glad Deranged wasn't in his head anymore but they did send something to follow him.

 

"Bladewolf you gain anything on Jack" Equinox asked. "No I have no intel or anything on Jacks location though there has been activity nearby" The wolf said

Ambiance rocked back and forth, terrified, eyes wide. She looked at the pony that stood before her. She looked at him, seeing him throw a few katanas aside.

 

She hadn't seen death first hand before. She thought so much worse of her family now, as they took joy in seeing death, made money from it, in fact. It made her sick to think about...

 

She was still silent. He was so kind to her... why? She didnlt want this, and wrapped her arms around renegade. She was terrified, and needed any sort of comfort. She just knew she would never make it out here...

Shadow growled running after the two. "Sky you stay here and lock the doors until we come back!! Don't let anypony in unless you're sure it's us!!" Shadow ran after them making it to the scene of the crime once there he looked around and pulled his blades back to him and sheathed them. Shadow walked up to Firelight and growled quietly. "You two are idiots you know that. We're trying to lay low and here you are running around through the streets and who knows who could've seen us. You're putting all of us in danger especially Sky." Shadow started back towards the hideout, he wanted to make it back to Sky.
