The blades weighed heavily in her hooves. She was terrified of fighting, but she had to. She had to fight in order to survive.

 

She held the twin blades iin a cross. "L-like this?" She swung the blade forward, creating a horizontal arc, then swung the second blade in quick succession, creating a verticle arc. Her movements were awkward, and a bit klunky. "I-is this good?"

 

She looked at renegade, a bit worried. She didn't want this responsability, but it had to be taken.

 

A unicorn that can't even cast magic? How do you expect to win in a swordfight?

 

She grew a look of determination, and tried again.

The general drew his weapon as well.

 

General: "We control all ponies so that they must be peaceful, and we kill tyrants like you who would corrupt them with your violent ways! And now, it's time we made that one less rebel on this miserable mudball."

 

River: "Pat, aren't you going to..."

 

Pat: "I'm afraid it's best that we not intervene in this fight."

Renegade studied her awkward attack and he chuckled slightly,"no,no,no sweetheart,you gotta be faster,and more fluid with your moves...think of it like...like dancing,yeah,dancing,you seen dancers,right? How the move so fluidly,and their hooves never miss a step and their speed is crazy fast,think of it like that,like your dancing with swords."he said and put his hooves over hers,he stood behind her and did her move,but his was much much faster and used more power,it was also executed flawlessly,"See,now,do what I just did for you."he said and let go of her hooves,still standing behind her.

Firelight chuckled as he watched Ambiance. "I think soon we're gonna have to worry more about the mares being a dangerous threat to us than anything else. They learn fast." Then he turned more serious as he looked back at Shadow sitting next to him. "But really, I just have a gut feeling something isn't right. Omething is out there. Something intelligent yet primal. Can you feel it's killer instinct? Whatever it is, it's waiting calmly for the right moment."

"Cyborg? Where is Echo? And Delta?"

"Delta is scouting the woods still, Echo is with the General supposedly"

"What's that glowing thing over there?" Asked Bravo

"Looks like a sword? Is that Commander Blazes sword?"

"The legendary Clarent" the troop went closer to it and out of nowhere a slash was heard and the troop was in two pieces

General Hex: "Commander Blaze? Ho ho, why in Equestria would I tell you? Besides, it doesn't matter, you are not going to find him where you're going!"

 

The general makes the first move. He does a back flip and simultaneously throws a vertical charge at the stallions hooves.

The squads and troops were in hysteria, they were confused and somewhat scared, they didn't know a lot about the sword Clarent only that it had lots of power, unbelievable actually

Shadow knew that something was out there, the question was...what. "Yeah I know Firelight...there's a reason that I put up this barrier. It'll hold for a while against continuous attack but not long cause it takes my will to keep it up." Little did everypony know that the reason the Dark Valley was so dangerous was that Discords magic had changed its inhabitants...dragons. The dragons had become twisted black slime like dragons, their fire breath now had the ability to erode through rock and metal alike. A low growl could be heard behind some rocks and a pair of red eyes poked around and stared at Shadow and Firelight.

She took a deep breath, and nodded. "O-okay, like a dance."

 

She tried again, imitating Renegade's movements. She wasn't nearly as swift, but her movements were much more fluid than before.

 

She tried again. Faster yet, and much more fluid.

 

She tripped, luckily, the blades landed safely beside her. She stomped her front hoof repeatedly. She closed her eyes, trying to calm herself.

Equinox parried the attack and slashed the general a few times before he sheathed the blade. "Clicking the trigger the blades handle shout out and he grabbed it and slashed upward cutting the generals eye.

 

 

Meanwhile Flame appeared near a peacekeeper. "I suggest you not touch the blade less you want to die" He said.

 Renegade sighed ever so softly and facehoofed for a second before picking her up and dusted her off softly,"Ok,now that you have at least half of a move down,we can start your hoof placement."he said and thought a moment before taking some random vines lying around and tied his rear hooves to hers,as long as his upped hooves he did his free hoof by just...being awesome...and he smiled slightly,"Ok...this a wee bit awkward sweetheart,but hey,guess we needed some bonding time...hehe...but,anywho,you tripped up on yourself a while ago while practicing your X-strike...that is dangerous,unprofessional and a sin among fighters,I shall not have MY disciple be doing that on any circumstance...So,just keep these moves in your muscle memory..."he said and swung his right hoof to the side,getting a feel for how this is gonna work,he nodded and did a one-two thrust move like lightning,a stomach slash and a she thrust,he did this move repeatedly,but then he said,"Ok...I will show you what it feels like to be a 100th degree Arena fighter..."he said and started doing very quick,very precise moves,slashing and jabbing,then more advanced heavy moves,he then did a move to where their back hooves swung around and the span around very quickly,he then made them hop into the air and swing their right arm around and slice a rock in half,the blade singing it's terrifying song of power.

"General, we have eyes on Commander Blaze's sword, but something's happening, someone went to go touch it, actually not even, he got close to it, and now he's in too pieces, the squads here are getting afraid, there losing hope in this mission, they need someone here to direct them"

"Clarent...you were Blazes sword, the man I re made and apparently was destroyed shortly after" Flame said as he looked at the blade. "Tell me...what are you doing" He asked

Her body was being moved around like a puppet. But it was fine, as long as she could fight, she didn't care.

 

The sound of the blade resonated within her ears. She liked it, and grinned.

 

She repeated the moves through muscle memory. The same thrusts and slices repeatedly. She didn't notice that she was still linked to Renegade.

"My master's soul, it yearns for blood and revenge, I won't stop with just these meager Peacekeepers"

Two more slashes were heard and Peacekeeper's head's popped off

"All will tremble before me, I won't be weld again, only by my master"

Another troop was sent flying into the air and came back down landing on an invisible spike, it impaled him.

"I advise you not to get in my way, or you will feel the sorrow and agony like the others"

Traveller opened his eyes. The sun shine brightly and he shielded his eyes. He stood up and then winced and fell as pain shot up through his hoof. He let out a moan and mumbled to himself. He slumped against the wall.

 

'Why? Why can't I ever get a break? House destroyed, supplies gone...' He whispered as he tried to pick himself back up again.

"Hm...I could help you with that...after all" He lit a flame and looked at Clarent. "We may both have the same enemy" He said as he looked at the sky. "Knowing you won't agree..I'll leave you to think about it" With that said he looked at the Peacekeeper. "You you like to try and wield Clarent" He said

Clarent toyed with the Peacekeepers a bit more

"General this is Delta! We.... I mean I need immediate reinforcements! Something here is killing all the squads and troops, OH NO! NO! NO! LEAVE ME ALONE! PLEASE, PLEASE SE.....AAAGGHHH................"

"I will agree to accept your help Flame, but only till all pay for my master's death, but you will not, and I mean will not! Wield me ever!, this is not  partnership, after you help me, I may decide to kill you, I may not, it all depends on how much you help me"

"Agreed...besides...with you killing them will be easy" He said picking up the communication device. "Hell the is Flame Stryke reinforcements will not be needed. Send some if you want but it won't do you any good" He said before crushing the device. "From now on we are accomplices and there is no benefits with us helping" Flame said.

I want Renegade, Renegade killed my master, my master was only trying to help when he was blatantly attacked" The sword turned into shards and the shards circled around and formed the shape of a human, with glowing eyes it spoke "All will feel the wrath of Clarent...."

Renegade smiled as he noted how fast she was learning by this method,he whispered in her ear softly,"Your doing so great sweetheart...but..."he made a painful grunt before slipping his hooves out of the vines and falling beside the fire and looking at his stomach,he sighed as his bandages had been bled through,he growled softly.

"Thats not good...Equinox wanted to fight Blaze...knowing that I may have and Idea to get Equinox to die along with Renegade" Flame said as he thought up an idea. "If Equinox knows Renegade killed Blaze...Equinox will want Renegade dead for denying his vengeance...meaning if Renegade wins he could be a bit worn out to fight any longer" He said

She saw Renegade cringe in pain, and saw that his stomach was bleeding.

 

She dropped the swords she carried, and panicked, eyes wide. "No, no, no... Are you okay? Please tell me you're okay!"

 

She was still massively concerned. Her eyes were opened wide, still. She tried to apply pressure to his wound.

"I will bathe in the blood of renegade, a plan has been forged then, lead Equinox to Renegade and let them fight it off, who ever wins will be tired hopefully, then I will shatter them into pieces, I'll rip his insides from within, I will make his teammates watch, my master always talked of Firelight and one called Sky, depending in what mood I am in, either both, one, or neither will do, my master had mixed emotions about them"
