Jack was running for his life, his generals had betrayed him, and no one noticed the tracker that was left on Firelight for when Jack wanted to kill him later on. He confronted his generals in the office, but they refused to accept the fact that Jack had been reborn. The generals personally promised to kill the imposter. He escaped but with cuts and bruises all around him, Firelight was next they promised, he had to get to the base as quickly as possible.

 

He wandered around until the tracker ended at a wooden door, he knocked on it and awaited for someone to great him with unsheathed blades at his face. He had to get the message across, he didn't understand why the generals wanted firelight though, he was an escaped criminal, but the bounty was way higher then it should have been, Jack wanted to find out why.

A smiling face. Amongst all of the panic and confusion, it was welcoming.

 

"M-m-my, my name is Ambiance." She stuttered, as she was still a little frazzled. "N-nice t-to m-meet you, Sky Flower..."

 

Sky Flower was picked up by Renegade, and Ambiance trailed off... 

 

She sat silently, worried about what is to come.

Sky Flower blinked with a blank expression on her face. "You look familiar." she said staring at him intently. Firelight rolled his eyes and grabbed Sky before Renegade could reply. "Later!" he growled. He carried Sky over to the hole in the floor and dropped her in. She squeaked and then her voice carried up from the depths. "Hey!" she said indignantly. Firelight ignored her and looked at Ambiance. "Kay, you next. Don't worry I won't drop you in."

He wondered what took so long, he knocked a little bit louder, he looked behind him, Peacekeeper troops had followed him, he drew Clarent staring at the troops, he slashed one in half, while the other fired off multiple gun shots, Jack dodged with ease and sliced the other in the chest, he took the others out with nothing more then a few shots going into Jacks chest, he was positive they heard that, they would come out eventually to see what happened

Renegade gasped as he galloped over to the hole,putting his head in the black hole and yelling down,"ARE YOU OK?!"he asked,waiting for a reply with his ear perked and his head tilted,he sighed when she made her reply and looked to Ambiance,he shot a glance at Firelight and said,"Actually,Fire...I'll put her down there."he said,slowly trotting forward,he picked her up and flew her down into the hole beside Sky,he then let her go and pat her head,"don't worry,you'll come out soon."he said softly before flying back up and out of the hole,he looked at Fire with a smirk,"Oh,my armor...uh...hey,listen...I'll be right back,I gotta get my stuff,I'll be right back."she said and flew out the back window silently,he then traveled to his pit cell,got his armor and swords and helmet,put them all on and flew back quietly,he flew back in and said though the scary helmet,his voice sounding a little more disturbing now,"Ok..."he said.

((OOC: I'm sorry , I was gone for a few hours, and I came back to the forums being down for maintenance, so I had to wait two more hours.))

 

Patterson and River turned down a side street in the direction of home, hoping that they had gotten enough of the supplies they needed so that they wouldn't have to come back for a while.

 

Pat: "Are you absolutely certain that we have everything that we needed? I don't want go back home and come to find out a day or two later that we need more... paper towels or something! And even if we did, I am not coming back here for a while anyway, so we'd just have to live with it."

 

River: *sigh* "I will double check...my double checklist...again."

 

She proceeds to go over the list, unbeknown to them of the figures following them on the rooftop. 

 

"Just be sure to watch where you're going." (Pat called back to her.)

 

Just then, an cyberneticaly augmented pony and a wolf jumped down in front of them.

 

'Oh No. Just what I need, more thugs' (He quickly pulled out his bostaff again and held it at the ready) "What is this? The boss level?"

He wasn't going to wait anymore, more Peacekeeper troops would be here when they the squad didn't report back to base with their findings, he'd have to cast a cloaking spell to make it rain and make the lights reflect off the drops and cloak the base, he went to the door and knocked again on the door, they didn't respond, "fine we'll do this the hard way" He looked at a dead Peacekeeper troop and eyed his grenade, he pulled the pin and dropped it, he darted off "ignore that"

Shadow made sure everything was set and in place. He did a double and triple check to make sure that the magic seals on all the doors and windows were set. Should anypony except for him try to enter they would be met with a very explosive greeting. "Alright everypony this tunnel will lead us out of the city and into the forest. Once we make it through there we'll be in the black valley and we'll have to be extremely careful while going through. We'll be heading to a mountain that has a castle buried into it, from my lore it was the last spot where Discord took on the Princesses and ended up winning." Shadow hopped down into the tunnel and used his magic to create a fire ball spell illuminating the path. "Everypony ready?"

"Bladewolf this isn't Jack..." Equinox said as he sheathed Muramasa. "I'm going to continue scouting around the area" The wolf said as he headed off. 

 

 

"Who are you two and why are you here, this town isn't really the best place to stay" Equinox said as he looked at the two

Firelight had the strangest feeling something was wrong. He could have sworn that he had heard some gunfire outside, but Shadow had told him about the spells on the hideout. They kept noise out too. Or at least they were supposed to. He was the last pony to jump in the hole. He closedthe hatch above him, just as an explosion rocked the very foundation of the building. Sky screamed as debris rained down on their heads. Firelight jumped forward and grabbed her, covering her with his body.

Maybe they sincerely weren't here, the tracker lead directly here but maybe he had ditched the tracker, Jack doubted that though he hid it very well, but what was this? The tracker seemed to be moving underground, Jack knew something was hidden behind the door, an explosive surprise, he would have to follow under them while they went through the tunnel, it would lead to Black Valley one of the first places the Peacekeeper territories they took over.

Renegade gasped as he caught the larger pieces of debris and he growled as he tossed it behind them,"well...looks like we can't go back now..."he muttered and slowly walked forward with the group,he looked down as he kept walking.

Ambiance looked around the dark tunnel. There was only one way to go. She nodded vigerously, shaking almost as badly.

 

She was still silent, not saying a thing. She was scared, and a little exhilerated.

 

She heard  a loud boom as debris landed all over her, covering her with cuts and bruises. She had a pit in her stomach, telling her something was wrong.

It wouldn't be hard to keep up Jack thought as he moved a little bit, they weren't going very fast, maybe they were still checking stock to see if they had everything they needed. They journey shouldn't have been too long, it was just to Dark valley

Shadow had put up a barrier to cover the remaining debris that fell. Looking back he knew something wasn't right either, quickly he put up a barrier behind the rubble pile. This way anyone or anything coming through would be delayed at least a little bit. "Come on everypnoy we have to make a run for it!" Shadow started off keeping the flame well lit so that everypony could see in front of them as they ran through the tunnel. It would be a bit of a run but it would be worth it, once they got to the forest they'd have some safety...well minus the twisted creatures that probably now inhabited the forest.

The tracker started to pick up the pace now, where we're they off to in such a hurry? Maybe he could run ahead of them and meet them at the end of the tunnel, yeah that sounded like a good idea, he picked up the pace galloping past the tracker, soon he would reach the dark valley soon and warn them, if required protect them. He just hoped no one he could see or sense was following him.

Patterson made sure he was well between River and the two strangers. He was confused by the question, as your typical thug wouldn't care.

 

Pat: "What do you mean why am I here? I am just your completely normal average citizen and this is my sister. What's it to you?" 

 

He retorted, not wanting any trouble.

Pat: "What?!" 'The Peacekeepers? is he serious?' "NO! We would never associate ourselves with the likes of them! I don't want any trouble! As I said, we are nothing special, so if you have no further business with us, please, be about your business and we'll be about ours. Otherwise, just leave my sister out of this at least!"

He releases his grip. "You hate the Peacekeepers also?" He asked as he looked at his sister. "You're a good brother, looking out for your sister" He said. Before he left. "If you want, I could use some help getting rid of a certain Peacekeeper known as Blaze...or rather known as Jack"

Jack made it to the end of the tunnel while attacker was still in the middle of the tunnel, when they came out they would run straight into Jack, he wondered how long it would take them to reach the end of the tunnel, also how they would react to them seeing Jack

Traveller heard an explosion in the distance. As he came to his senses he realized they were right outside. He opened his eyes wide and limped away. He walked as fast as possible to the bottom. He opened a sewer grate, dry but dirty. He lowered himself down as he heard an explosion go off. He heard a huge bash as he figured his house was destroyed.

Little were they aware of a fourth presence who lurks in the shadows watching everything they do, hearing everything they say.

 

Pat: 'Killed? Well that would explain the cybernetic implants.' "So you just want vengance huh? Well I'm afraid I can't help you. I only kill when it is absolutely necessary in order to protect me, my sister, and the ponies around me. I'm sorry, but I won't aid you in something I believe is morally wrong."
