searching A Killer and his Bird (Human Adventure RP)

So the first time I tried to make this, it wasn't too popular. I figured I'd try it again and hopefully get some people. 

 

General story:

A kingdom is being threatened by a great danger. The only hope of saving the kingdom is a murderer who is incredibly skilled, and has been locked up for 5 years. The royals aren't sure whether he can be trusted or not, so they decide to send 5 elite fighters along with him to assist him and keep him in check.

 

Rules (You better read them):

 

1. No godmodding or anything of the sort

 

2. Nothing NSFW. Romance is allowed if you want, but don't take it too far guys.

 

3. No OP characters. What's the fun in having characters who win all the time? These are elite fighters, not gods.

 

4. You must be experienced in roleplaying. I have very short patience so I'd prefer if I didn't have to read through beginner level posts. 

 

5.  Good grammar and such. This one's a given.

 

6. This is a human RP. No other species, and absolutely NO ponies that turned into humans. If you want to adapt your pony OC into a human, that is fine.

 

7. Anything else that is pretty much a given in most RPs

 

 

I'd like you to give a brief description of your character, something along the lines of this:

 

Name: Unknown. Goes by the Reaper.

Weapons/Other Abilities: Wields a scythe with an onyx blade and possesses slight magic abilities, such as teleportation and small blasts of energy. The magic is possessed by darkness, so it's thick, black, and cloudy.

Backstory (Optional but appreciated): For Reaper specifically, most will be explained in the RP. Can't say it here for spoiler reasons.

Appearance: Short-ish black hair. He wears a black duster with armored shoulders and a leather tunic underneath, as well as black, armored boots.

Personality: Usually quite calm. Can get quite sarcastic, but most of the time is polite and well mannered. One wouldn't expect him to be a killer at first glance.

Other: Has a pet Barn owl named Barnibus (The pun wasn't intended, I swear). Also, no one seems to know who he killed or what his intentions were. Only that it must have been someone awfully important.

 

I think I've said everything I've had to. Hopefully, like I said before, this gets more views and people than the last time, which was about 0 in both respects.

I'm fine to turn him back to being human for this RP, tho. Putting his human backstory in the form.

 

 

Name: Diego Blake, known as "Mad Dog" or "Dingo", tho not to his face as a general rule.

Weapons/Other Abilities: Has the ability to wield chaos magic, which has infinate possibilities.

Backstory (Optional but appreciated): Diego's powers first manifested when he was five years old. After an argument with his older brother, who he tried to strangle by using his magic on the garden hose, his parents took him to see a psychiatrist who recommended, after several attempts to try and calm Diego, that his parents place him in a mental hospital. Diego was taken to a secure institution where doctors controlled him using drugs and a straitjacket. He eventually escaped after a security breach which enabled him to break free from his cell and head out into the world. Diego now keeps a fairly low profile, having learned somewhat to control his powers, as he doesn't wish to go back to the institution. He considers himself without family, never having forgiven his parents for sending him there.

Appearance: Medium length dirty blonde hair and grey eyes. He's average height, but thin and wiry with it so doesn't look dangerous.

Personality: Has a hot temper, can be impulsive at times and also quite irritating. Diego also loves to prank other people.

Other: Overusing his power can give him a blinding headache. Also, Diego doesn't like to use weapons.

While your character is quite interesting, I don't know why the king would decide to choose someone who is unpredictable and potentially dangerous to guard someone who is unpredictable and potentially dangerous...

I'll say they are, just so we have some different characters and such. This is kind of a medieval kingdom with semi-modern views so female characters are completely allowed.

Well I guess the obvious thing is that her clothes would fit more of a medieval setting, but that's not that big a deal. What other skills does she have other than the one's listed? Remember, these are supposed to be elite fighters. And could you also explain the manipulative skeleton thing? Not entirely sure what that means.

@@Ampharos, Louise has hand to hand combat skills as well as the mutant thing. Her power is basically the same as a cross between these characters:

She's also good at stealth, can use any weapon as long as she practices and has a good memory for detail.

Name: Cidgel

 

Weapons/Abilities: Cidgel is a skilled fighter with many years of experience. He can transform the spikes on his cloak into various weapons, straight swords, a long spear, and chain daggers

 

Backstory: Cidgel lived in a poor family, struggling to keep food on the table. After spending all of his family's money buying a book of enchantments, they looked doomed. Cidgel however did not give up hope and enchanted his clothing, giving him two spikes that could be manipulated into three weapons. With this ability, Cidgel took to mercenary work to feed his family and pay the bills. He became very popular due to being relatively cheap to buy and having a sense of honor that refused to question the employer and made him always carry out a job(unless it violated his honor code)

 

Appearance: Cidgel's head is shaved and his face has high cheek bones with small burn marks covering his face from old battles. He wears a purple body suit, a red cloak with two shoulder spikes/pauldrons, and red boots

 

Personality: Cidgel lives by a strict sense of honor and prefers to stay calm and cool in most situations. He never cheats and prefers to give foes a sporting chance and ends battles as painlessly as he can

 

Other: Cidgel is asexual and has no interest in pursuing romance either. He is rather sexist towards women, albeit chivalrously. He views them as soft, fragile creatures that he must defend

Sounds like a fairly good character. Just remember that this is a SFW zone, and intense gore falls under NSFW.
