Depending on where you most need them, I'd be happy to use any one of these:

 

Cinderblock - Earth pony alchemist, determined to prove that she's 'just as good as any unicorn!' Would suit Ravenclaw or Griffindor. A natural with potions - just don't ask her to explain or work to a recipy.

 

Bardic Knowledge - Foreign unicorn... Bard. Unusual form of magic and is obsessed with learning everything about everything. Would suit Ravenclaw. Chennels magic through creative outputs - such as writing, speech and singing.

 

Or Scribe Shield - Unicorn who lacks any real connection with his magical ability. Would suit Griffindoor. Gets frustrated with 'fancy' solutions not working and resorts to just brute forcing things quite often.

If I may I'd like to use two OC's. A teacher (defence against the dark arts, somepony similiar to a combination of Alastor Moody, but less crazy and more calculating) and a slytherin who feels like he is supposed to be a ravenclaw.

 

I don't have any OC pages yet, but this is about what I want to do. I hope that is ok.

Their magic will still be stronger than the other students. Won't that be unfair? Alicorns have an advantage of joining Quiddich like pegasi and unicorns can do magic with their horns. Earth ponies can only do magic with wands.

I know that. But I don't want to make the other people's OC's look and feel useless. I know I could limit the alicorn powers but I just want everyone's OC to fit in. Why not make your OC a unicorn? Or a pegasus!

This is what I hope the teacher can look like. I don't know if you are OK with it, but satyr's are epic, and this is a teacher that is similiar to when the centaur Firenze started to teach divination in the school. There is no available human teacher for defense agains the dark arts (since, you know, the curse that is on it...), so the school headmaster gave this shaman-like satyr a job. He has a different look on the dark arts, and that should be very interesting for the students to learn about. He hates being confused with a Faun by the way :3

 

He is not evil, just different. Just like the centaur's he has differnt thoughts about everything. He is a different race after all.

Ignore about everything on there, including the second oc. The white pale one is the one that I mean. The only thing that matters is his personality and his looks, the rest of it doesn't apply to this RP. He is in slytherin, but he is also very intelligent, so he doesn't know if he should be in slytherin or in ravenclaw. (he does BELONG in slytherin though, but he doesn't know for sure himself)
