The attendant smiled at Midnight. "The restaurant? Please Miss, we have many many places to eat here at Hotel Spades. Though I'm sorry to say that I don't know how to solve your problem about being along unless you want me to just fine an employee to hang out with you. But if not than I would suggest socializing with the other guests. Just go up and talk to them."

After a few minutes of searching, stardust finally found his room. After unpacking a few things he realized there was no room key in the room,  he searched around for a minute before deciding to down to reception again and see if they had a spare.

Stardust entered the reception for the third time. He approached the counter. Seeing the receptionist was busy with another pony he rested against the counter, waiting to be addressed. Stardust looked over at the black mare talking with receptionist, noticing her cutie mark his stomach grumbled, Remembered he hadn't eaten since he got on the carriage back in manehatten.

As the receptionist was waiting for Midnight she noticed Stardust waiting for her. She turned quickly and told somepony else to help him. Stardust was soon greeted by a stallion this time. "Hello there. Please excuse my associate for being busy. But may I be of assistance?"

Midnight said in a loud tone "Anypony wat to get some food with me?I'm starving and it's no fun eating all alone.Dn't say I'm the only one who hasen't ate yet."

She hoped that she wsn't the only one who hasn't eaten yet.

Charcoal hears Midnight asking if somepony wants to eat and she walks up to her. "Um... excuse me? I haven't eaten yet so... if you don't mind that is... would you like to eat with me?" Charcoal asked shyly to the dark colored mare. "But, you definitely don't have to. I don't mind if you don't..."

"Oh, hey" Stardust smiled, finally getting assistance. "Umm...I have a bit of a problem, I went up to my room and it appears there's no room key" Stardust continued "You wouldn't happen to have a spare by any chance would you?"

Stardust turned to the black mare. "Oh, hey!" He said excitedly. "I'm absolutely starving, haven't eaten since I woke up to come here." Stardust noticed another mare had already responded to her request. "You wouldn't mind if I joined you to, would you?

The attendant thought for a minute. "Well... all the doors should be unlocked anyway. But if it is locked I could give you the key if you really want it." The attendant reached under the desk and pulled out a key and sets it on the desk. "Here you are sir."

 

 

Charcoal turns to the stallion. "Um... I... I g-guess..." Charcoal said nervously.

"Oh yeah? Well try getting your horn stuck in a magic floor for about 6 hours. Now that was an interesting experience." Caprisha said with a laugh as she got ready to tell her story. "So, what happened was when I was little I moved with my adopted parents into this great house. I got my own room and everything. So being the mature mare that I was I started jumping on the bed. Eventually I tripped and fell off. I wasn't hurt, but my horn got stuck in the wood floor. Normally it wouldn't be a problem but the floor had an enchantment to where it magically regenerated if any damage ks done to it."

 

'Wow. That's...some luck.' Traveller laughed. '6 hours? That seems like it must have been hard. Sitting there with your horn stuck in the ground.' He chuckled as he hovered above her. 'Anymore interesting stories? It seems I could get a lot of ideas from you.' He asked as he did a little loop.

'Wow. That's...some luck.' Traveller laughed. '6 hours? That seems like it must have been hard. Sitting there with your horn stuck in the ground.' He chuckled as he hovered above her. 'Anymore interesting stories? It seems I could get a lot of ideas from you.' He asked as he did a little loop.

"okay cool, thanks" Stardust said, replying to the receptionist. "No, the door is unlocked, but I'd like to be able to lock it" Stardust grabbed the keys. "I got a lot of expensive stuff in my room that I'd prefer not to get stolen so a key always helps" He laughed.

 

Hearing the mare's response, stardust took a slight step back. "If you don't want me to come I'm quite happy to leave you two alone"

The receptionist nods. "Oh. I get it. Well there should be a key next to the bed, but keep this key anyway. Better be safe then sorry." The receptionist said with a smile as he left him with the key.

 

"O-Oh... no... it... it's not that I don't want you to. It's just... I.... I'm k-kind of afraid..." Charcoal admitted shyly.

Caprisha almost laughs. "Me, write? Please. I have a heard enough time sitting down and reading. Do you really think I'm going to sit down and write?" Caprisha said as she actually does begin laughing. "Please. But let's see if I have another story I could tell..."

"There wasn't a key on the bedside table, I checked the whole room. Maybe somepony forgot to put on in there" He shrugged turning the shy mare. "Afraid?...Of me?" He said, a confused look on his face. He thought about this for a second before smiling. "Nothing to be afraid of here, I don't bite" He said jokingly, trying to break the tension.

"Oh, I see. We will have to check that later. But I am sorry for the inconvenience sir." The attendant said.

 

Charcoal didn't laugh at his joke. "I... I know, but... I just... it's all stallions." Charcoal said timidly. I... I'm sorry if I offended you at all... I just... I'm really scared."

"Yeah, no hassle" stardust said responding to the receptionist.

He again turned to the mare. "Nah, I'm not offended" Stardust took a slight step back giving the pegasus some space. "As I said, I'm more than happy to leave you two alone if you wish, I don't want to be making anypony uncomfortable."

Charcoal shifted her hooves around as she stared at the floor. "Um, n-no... y-you can eat with us. I just... d-don't sit next to me." Charcoal said quietly. She really didn't mind if he ate with them, but if he sat next to her she didn't know how well she would do. "S-So... y-you c-can eat if you like..."

"I dunno what restaurants they have around here, but I'll eat almost anything as long as it's not seafood" he scrunched his face up slightly at the thought of it. "Wanna come see what they have around here? My shout" he gave them both a friendly smile before quickly scanning the room for any signs directing the way to anywhere to eat.

Scribbegroove had looked around silently to the other ponies for a while. All of them were getting something to eat, and he sensed that his conversation with Nuke was dying down a bit, so he changed the subject.

Nuclear ears perked up at the mention of food. "Sure! I haven't eaten since I got here." She smiled before tapping her hoof to her chin in thought. "Hmm...I don't like spicy so that place is out...." Nuclear turned, facing each direction a sign pointed before looking at Scribblegroove. "How about some sandwiches if you're alright with that?" She smiled again .

Scribblegroove thought for a moment. "Oh, why not. I suppose sandwhiches would do!" He said as he walked towards the place she pointed at. It looked like some sort of artisanal bakery with all sorts of bread, and luxurious looking little pieces of arts that you can eat. "Wow, I never thaught that even a sandwhich could be made fancier than fancy... This hotel is so fancy even its simple food is classy as hell..." He snickered. It all looked deliscious as he was standing behind the glass counter. He looked up at Nuke. "What are you having?" He said.

Charcoal nodded. "Um... if it is alright, I think that place looks like a good place to eat." Charcoal said as she notices a place that looks like a a pizza place. "But... if you don't want to go there, that's fine. I'm sure that there is another place near by with some food that is good."
