"Ugh" Stardust moaned as he got himself back up to his hooves. "Son of a bitch" He looked at his wing, somepony had landed on it when they were trying to get out. He could still move it, but it hurt like hell. He saw two ponies standing out the front of the now abandoned cafe "Hey" He called out "Did either of you see the way that bastard went?" he said annoyed with the whole situation, it didn't help that he still hadn't eaten either.

And there she was,at the middle of a snow storm,smiling and,aparently,enjoying it,a yellowish white mare,with her spread wings

-You should have to know it Beeps,everything on this world can be magic.Even the coldest of the snow storms can be magic if you believe

-Yeah,whatever you say,but i'll never understand you.

After 12 years,i can't explain your...crush?...with the snow.It's so cold here...

-Magic...i said it...but is true*giggles*it's very cold here.We should look for a place to sleep...

With a bright look on his eyes,Beeps said:

-Light look!!!A town!!!We can stay there!!!

*looking for his map,and watching where are they*

-Mmm...yeah,that's a good town.We can stay here during the storm.

*seeming impatient and with cold*

-What are we waiting for???Let's go!!!

And they both entered the town,hoping that there were a place to stay during the storm

Tempest glanced at Stardust, and nodded. "I was actually about to go out and look for him myself. I think I may know where Caras went." He said, trotting away. He then glanced back at the two ponies. "By the way, my name is Tempest." The cyan pegesus then flew into the air, and headed for the everfree forest.

 

Ivy noticed Tempest leaving, and used her magic to make vines drag her underground and burrow in the direction Tempest flew in.

 

Xena sighed. "Are you sure this is a good idea?" He asked.

 

Tempest shrugged, as he felt the cold wind blow past him. "I don't know, but there's a good chance Caras knows what's going on." He said.

"They do?! I though the sun and moon rose by themselves. How do they do it? With some kind of pulley system?"

 

Cleo's jaw hung open in disbelief. " Wha-?" She looked stumped. How can someone not know the most basic of things?

 

 

 

He picks up his rag doll and looks at her. "What do you think Dishcloth? .... yeah, they would need a lot of rope to do that."

 

Dishcloth? What's he doing talking to that ragdoll anyways? 

 

 

 

He look back to the mare. "Do you know how they do it?"

 

" I-" Cleo still found it hard to believe that somepony would not know about something like this. She shook her head. " Y'know what? I'm not even going to bothe-"

 

 

 

"Hey" He called out "Did either of you see the way that bastard went?"

 

Her sentence was interrupted with the stallion's call. Cleo turned to face the pony, noting that he was injured as well. " No, I'm trying to ask this pony over here for answers," She pointed a hoof at Rag Stitch. " But it seems like he got amnesia or something." Cleo called back.

The weather was still cold,but that doesn't mattered Lightwing,as she still had her wings spread to pick up the snow with happiness.But Beeps...

*he suddenly enter the nearest building with a bit of warm state*

 

-Ahhhh!!!This is life!!!

 

*he suddenly throws away his cloack,showing a green coated stallion,with a black mane*

 

-Can you control your son,lady?*a stallion with Beeps's cloack over him said*

 

*quitting the cloack over the stallion*

-I'm sorry for that,and he's not my son

 

-then control your coltfriend

 

-He's not my coltfriend neither

 

-And then who is he?

 

-He's my friend

 

-Then,your friend is stupid

 

*with anger*

 

-Repeat it if you dare

 

And with confidence,he said again

 

-Your friend is stupid

 

*trying to control herself*

 

-Well,at least he's not stupid like you

 

-Why?

 

Suddenly,she threw the snow who was on her wings

 

-At least he doesn't have his face covered by snow

 

And this time,the stallion said

 

-Ok...You both have to leave...

 

And then,with a victorious pose:

 

-Is better than nothing.Come on Beeps,let's go

 

-But liiight!!!It's so waarm!!!

 

-*giggling*Don't be so child

 

And then,suddenly,when they left the buiding,a white streak crossed the sky...a thing who catched Lightwing's eye

 

-Light?What happens?

With a confused look,she said:

-Oh!Nothing.Just a thing i've remembered

-Well...whatever you say...

 

*But Lightwing was thinking on another thing*

 

(Inside her thoughts)

-Can that be him?...

No!It's not him...

 

And they started again to wander around the town,looking for a place to stay,and,by the way,make Beeps happier

Caras ran through the streets of Canterlot away from the burning hospital and towards the city gates, leaving a trail of dead guards behind him. To try and lose the guards on the ground, Caras dissipated in thin smoke and hid with dark ally ways, trying to get the guard of off his tail.

 

Wade was still in the everfree forest, suffering from Flu again. He became worried that Caras might be in trouble, and decided that it was high time he did something useful.

 

"This could kill me, but I need fast travel."

 

Wade opened up a Space/time portal to Canterlot keeping the time the same but moving the place he knew Caras would be going. The hospital.

 

"Here goes nothing."

 

Wade stepped through the portal, but his aim was still off. He ended up a street away from the hospital at the cafe, and about 15ft in the air. The fall was not that painful, a broken hoof was the most severe damage done.

 

"I need to work on my aim."

Tempest noticed something odd on the ground, and landed. He then formed his trademark dual swords in his hooves, as he looked into the dark alley Caras went into. "I know you're here somewhere, Caras." He said, controlling his anger. "Tell me, why in the name of Luna are you here?"

 

Ivy noticed a shift in Tempest's aura, and came up beside said pegesus.

Rag tilts his head at Cleo. "What's amnesia? Is it like some kind of illness or something?" Her gasps. "Is it deadly or contagious?! Get away from me quickly! I don't want you to get ill cause of me." He pulls Dishcloth closer to his chest and scoots away from Cleo out of fear that she would get sick.

"Tempest? Well look who it is. I thought you would have been in ponyville, looks like I was wrong."

 

Caras lost his smoke form and stepped out of the shadows.

 

"I'll save the pleasantries for later. You want to know why I am here? The answer is simple. Medicine. My student is sick and he needs medicine as soon as possible. So I came here looking for what I need. Are you going to try and deny him life? He has done nothing to defy you or any other pony. So can I walk, or do I have to beat you down?"

 

Wade awoke from being unconscious on the ground, and began to scan the area, looking for any sign of Caras. And he found it. The cafe he was next to was full of smoke and the hospital nearby was up in flames. Caras could be anywhere by now.

Wade saw a small group of ponies nearby and decided to ask them if they had seen him.

 

"Excuse me. I was wondering if any of you had any information concerning the location of a male Alicorn bat pony within this general area?"

Ivy was slightly surprised at this, and glanced at Caras. "Who are you?" She asked, getting ready to fight if need be.

 

Tempest sighed. His swords then went back into his body. "I won't fight, if you speak the truth. I do have one question, though. Are you causing this snow storm, or is there a much darker power at work?" He asked, not even paying attention to Ivy.

Aaron and Celestia had returned to their hotel room. Conversing over some chocolate cake. Talking about where the artifact is, how they were, and generally sharing stories with each other.

"... And that's why I can't go back to the Gryphon Kingdom Capital city."
Celestia was hysterical. Aarons story was insane and it did explain why he turned her down in going there all those times. She began to speak after she had calmed down.

"So... So you put his beard-"

"Yes."

"With the lobster."

"Correct."

"While the king's son-"

"With a clown. I thought it was hilarious as well. Shame they didn't think the same."

The two continued to eat the cake. After a while they were filled with their snack.

"So. What'cha wanna do now"

"Well, I was thinking of getting some rest. Then at night we can go searching those rumors you've told me about. Maybe its in correlation to the item we seek. I doubt it though."

With their plan laid out. the two went to their bed. Patiently waiting for Luna's night to fall upon the land.

"As much as would like to say it was me, this storm is causing me and my student problems too. Do you have any idea how hard it is to hunt animals in the snow, its hard. But the truth is, I am not causing this. If I had one guess, I'd have to say that there be windigo's in the air. Creatures of dark magic last seen in a time long before myself. Your in for a tough time Tempest."

 

Caras turned his eyes to the new mare nearby.

 

"So, you must be Ivy. Tempest's wife. I have heard so much about you and it seems you live up to expectations."

 

Caras turned back to Tempest.

 

"So windigo's are your problem and unless you stop them. Equestria will freeze just like the old lands, and like it or not, you need my help on this one."

 

(The snow is getting heavier and a warning has gone out across equestria, informing people to take extra precautions until the snow clears.

 

We are at warning level 1.)

Celestia and Aaron slept in their bed, patiently awaiting the night. A chill went up Celestia's spine. She awoke suddenly. Something was wrong.

"Aaron. Aaron wake up."

Aaron began to stir. He groggily arose from his bed.

"Yeah. What is it Tia?"
"Something is wrong in the wind."

Aaron wasn't going to argue. When Celestia says something is wrong, something is wrong."

"Alright. Let me get my pants."

Celestia got out of bed and stretched her limbs. Aaron prepared their supplies. No sense in letting it go to waste.

"Hold on."

With a flash, the two were in the middle of the Canterlot throne room. Aaron gave a shiver upon arrival.

Ivy was slightly surprised, and blushed slightly. "Um, thanks." She said.

 

Tempest was slightly surprised. "Windagoes? I thought those things would've died off by now." He said. The cyan pegesus then shrugged. "Either way, I think I can handle them." Tempest then smirked and tapped his head. "I have Xena, and the others to help out."

Gareth smiled. "Thank you for letting me take shelter here. It is much appreciated." Gareth stared at the mare, he had never seen one quite like her before. "It is a pleasure to meet you both." Gareth found a rock and sat down on it, looking around for something to do. "So, seeing as this storm isn't going to pass any time soon, let's get to know each other a bit, sound good? We'll ask each other questions and answer them truthfully. Normally I do this with a lot of vodka, but hey. It'll still be fun without it."

Stardust heard a voice calling over to them.

"Yeah...I saw him, Bastard nearly cost me a wing!" He called out, flashing his damaged wing to the stallion.

"No worries." Gentle Secret replied smiling, "And no. We are not. Just average traveling partners. Or temporary, really. My two other, more daily travelers are either in the hospital… or taking a vacation."

Before Gentle Secret could continue on in, Cryptical Code spoke, "That traveling partner part. She's covering up the fact that she wants to be right next to me." There was a small protest from a blushing Gentle Secret. Then he continued, "From the Empire you say?"

I hail from the northern Griffon Empire though, it's cold and the only thing I've ever known to warm me up is a good bottle of vodka." Gareth turned to 'Noir.' "So, tell me 'Noir.' I have spent enough time as a guard to notice things." He took on a serious tone. "How did you get as lucky to meet one such as her?" He turned and pointed to Gentle Secret, snickering a little while finishing his question.

Gentle Secret was grinning now, "How did you even? Huh?" She then nudged Cryptical Code a bit, still grinning madly.

"It was a lovely day for me. A nice coffee, then Gentle Secret here and her companions bursted into the café… aaaand ruined everything." Cryptical Code replied, he then had a nostalgic sigh, remembering that time.

"No, Luna, we  did not. WE had to cut our trip short due to the oddness of this snow storm."

The two conversed and Aaron went to check the severity of the storm on his home. He went to the balcony to see that it was being pelted with snow and winds. If something was indeed wrong, the three of them would need some help if things got out of hand.

"Well we mostly explorer for ancient treasures and ruins. I suppose we are cartographers too! Since we keep a self-drawn map with us," a Gentle Secret spoke happily.
