So, I checked, and I didn't see a topic for this, and I figured everyone should put in their input on this!

Who is your favorite incarnation of the Doctor, and why?

Personally, my favorite is the 8th Doctor. He was all-around quite funny, and he acted like he had fun doing the role. The 9th comes in for a close second.

Who's your favorite? Let me know! :)

I don't truly have a favorite Doctor, but I usually just say Nine is because you never forget your first Doctor. I do like Eleven and Ten a lot, though.

So true! I've never forgotten the first Doctor I watched, which was William Hartnell. He was excellent! :D

I don't really have a favorite doctor.   My first doctor was the 4th.   Even remember the first episode I saw, Armageddon factor episode 2.

I like all the doctors, some more then others.  The 6th doctor I like better on the few big finish stories I have listened to.  8th I've only seen on the tv movie, the animated Shada, and his regeneration.  Though he seems a great doctor.  The first I like after he stopped being a minor villain type, which seems to mainly start happening starting in Marco Polo (I watched a reconstruction of that story done by loose canon).   I guess my favorite doctor, as odd as it may seem, is the current one I am watching.  Though I do like certain eras better then others.  The JNT era I don't like as much as the earlier ones.  That said I can like the doctors & companions even if I don't like the writing, at times.

1. David Tennant (Favorite episode: Blink)

2. Tom Baker (Favorite episode: Genesis Of The Daleks)

3. Sylvester McCoy (Favorite episode: Remembrance Of The Daleks)

4. Christopher Eccleston (Favorite episode: The Doctor Dances)

5. Patrick Troughton (Favorite episode: Tomb Of The Cybermen)

I like all of the actors that played The Doctor. But, I've never gotten into the Third Doctor's stories. They are too action focused for me.

Matt Smith. I liked his quite humorously childish and sociable personality in comparison to most every doctor. Plus, he was my first doctor :P (After that, I watched some David Tennant and a little bit of 9th, and of course 12th)

I don't like the 12th doctor. I don't know what it is about him, but I just don't like it.

David Tennant was a good doctor, bit I prefer Matt Smith ( my favorite quote has to be in the 50th special, talking about the thing that went "ding!".)

9th was average for me.

I really like Matt Smith he's definitely my favorite. For second it's pretty tough i like David Tennant, but I think Christopher Eccleston is second, also he has the best last line of a doctor.

“Rose… before I go, I just wanna tell you, you were fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. And do you know what? So was I!”
