Kinda busy! Who does this guy think he is!? "Yea well I was kinda busy too, and thanks to you not being aware of your Pokemon, I had to hear Growlithes attempting to maul that Purrloin of yours. So you can go-" "Revvy!" Cedric was still over near the Nidoran's, but had heard what was going on. They weren't exactly the quietest of people. Revvy gave his brother a glare while Cedric returned it tenfold. The older brother sighed and smiled lightly at the sound of Comet's retort. She had the best comebacks, this Jared kid was boring. Cedric continued to glare at him, sensing that Revvy had made himself get off the wrong foot with Comet... Which tended to happen a lot with people Revvy meets. Revvy looked back at Cedric uneasily and sighed again. He told Chomp to cry out if the Shinxes did anything, picked up Faith, and walked closer to Comet and Jared. Damn Cedric. Always had a way of making Revvy feel bad. "Hey, Comet, you know... I think we got off on the wrong foot. Or... possibly more than a foot. I just... I needed to test that thing, and you were the closest person to me, so I hope you understand it wasn't anything personal. So uh... Sorry... Or something." Revvy stood there awkwardly for a moment, cradling the small Ralts, before smiling flatly and tunring around to head back to Chomp and the Shinxes.

Comet merely ignored Revvy. She wasn't exactly the forgiving type, unless she liked the person before they did something to get on her bad side. But, it would be incredibly rude to completely ignore the boy. "First impressions are everything, you know." She said, crouching down to where the Growlithe and Serperior were playing. This was true with this case as well. Serperior was never playful, but was being so to entice the pokemon to join their party. "Mess up that, and don't be surprised should it be hard to win a person's favour." Comet then extended her hand to the Growlithe, making sure to not get too close. In a soft, soothing tone, she spoke to it. "Hello there. Would you like to join us? Serperior quite likes you, and I rather like you as well."

When Cedric called out to Revvy it caught the attention of the Nidorino who ran in front of Nidoran♀. It was clear it didn't want Cedric to mess with it's little sister. The other Nidoran scattered a bit as they knew not to interfere once their brother got mad. Meanwhile the Shinx Revvy was trying to catch, ignoring the looks her brother gave her, started walking toward Revvy with the older Shinx following suit. [i guess the Shinx is a girl? If you want it can be male since Luxray is rather masculine.]

 

Cedric cursed under his breath as the Nidorino jumped in front of the Nidoran. He had been more interested in getting a Nidoqueen, but a battle wouldn't hurt. Cedric quickly got a paralyze heal for Butterfree and sprayed it. She hadn't been hurt to badly, so she seemed ready to fight. "Alright Butterball, Confusion!" The Pokemon swept down from the height it had been at and closed it's eyes, directing pink waves of mental energy at the Nidorino.

 

Revvy ground his teeth at Comet's response. I apologized! Least she could do was accept it before giving me some lecture or... Hey! Revvy crouched down when the Shinx waddled over and gave her a small smile. The tuft of fur on her head seemed smaller than her brother's, which most likely meant this Shinx was female. "Hey there girl... Interested in joining the team?" Trying to back Revvy up as Butterball had done for Cedric, Faith gave a shy wave to the Shinx and a smile. Revvy was pretty intent on keeping a hold of her. He wasn't planning on having Faith harmed. She was just too little to fight for now. Revvy gave a look to Chomp in case things got a little out of hand.

Rin instinctively took a step back, hugging her Eevee tighter and starting to turn away.  "Wha...  No!  I've done everything he's asked, he can't take Eve!  Go find a different Eevee!"  Dropping one of her hands to her side, her fingers start to fuse into a sharp blade as she starts entering her attack forme - she was willing to fight to protect the Eevee, the little silver pokemon was the only thing staying normal after everything had happened to her.

 

"Deoxys has made me fight for my life ever since I woke up!  He can't expect me to give up Eve!"  This was too much, first Deoxys had ignored her pleas for help back at the pokemon center, now this?  She had to protect the Eevee though, she meant the world to Rin.  I should run, the Giratina follower might still be in Lavendar Town, he might help...  He's in the way, I've already killed once, I could again.  What's his life compared to Eve's?  Hesitating and blinking at her own thoughts, Rin briefly shakes her head to try and clear it.  Where had that line of thinking come from?

As all of the lights in the room went out, Mason suddenly found himself with free reign of the room while still in his shadowform.  Quickly darting away from the trio, he starts trying to figure out what was going on.  They've done something, but what?  I promised Cresselia I'd speak with them...  That means they need to get out of this alive.

 

For now Mason was content to lurk in the shadows - nothing dangerous was happening yet.  Besides, he knew better than to fight with foolish notions like 'honor'.  Stay hidden, make the first strike count, and get them out alive.  Besides, there was the other boy with the twins that Mason didn't recognize - better to see how things would unfold first.

@Bard, Vulpix on the other hand kept it's curious demeanor. As it looked around at the Growlithe barking it just rolled it's eyes and walked up to Jared. "Vulpix?" the fox said. It wasn't quite sure what to make of all this and was unsure if Jared or even Comet was to her liking.

  

Jared's hand extended, and his other hand slowly went towards his pocket. From it, he pulled a pokepuff that he must have had in there the whole time. He held it out to the Vulpix, hoping it'd take the bait as an act of kindness.

 

 

@Bard,  Over at Silph. Co, Henry's Gengar had found Leon's Porygon2 and followed it back to it's master in the form of a shadow. "Ah, there are you Porygon." Leon said as the electronic duck returned to him and gave him a small smile. That's when the laughter started. Any light that remained in the room vanished and the trio all felt as if they were being watched. "Great..." Leon said to himself.

Renee shuddered, holding her arms close to herself. "What's going on? It's not your machine doing this, is it?" Taylor asked. Flaaffy scampered across the room, back to where Renee was, and hugged her leg. Renee stroked Flaaffy's wool comfortingly.
