Looking to Moonlight, the stallion sighed crackingly in retort as his mind echoed back...what purpose shall it serve?...I serve the lords...and their will alone...He scuffled his hoof tiredly as he silently gazed to Moonlight, his breaths the only thing to be heard in his gray appearance.

"I am a demon lord. You shall serve me." Charcoal said forcefully. "I don't care if you think this has no purpose, just do it because I said so. I'm going to go. We need to do what Gar'Thorn said. And I don't exactly feel like searching through the sewers for some ponies I don't know."

Moonlight screamed in frustration then shoved face into the ground she then stands up straight again she sighed as she cleans the dirt off her face "alright fine if i don't find anything don't blame me" now she was starting to wish she worked for the inqisition but nah.

"Shut up you." Charcoal said angrily. "The adults are talking. You wait your turn. And don't think I've forgotten what you did. I'm going to make sure you don't screw up and botch things up. And if you disrespect me again you are going to regret it." Charcoal threatened as she stared Moonlight down.

Charcoal grinned at the words of this odd pony. "Well now, I like the sound of those words. I think you and I will get along just fine." Charcoal said before turning to Moonlight with a hard look on her face. "You should be more like him. You need to he more obedient to your superiors so you aren't crushed like the insignificant nat you are."

Moonlight's eyes twitch as she stared at Charcoal "ok how do we get to the sewers exactly i cant simply teleport to the sewers my teleportation sucks dark magic is.... unstable i'd rather not use it for teleportation unless i want to become part of a wall"

Charcoal rolled her eyes. "Are you really that thick? Look for a manhole or a sewer grate. It really is not that hard." Charcoal said in annoyance. "I guess you are really not that smart." She turned to the odd pony. "You keep an eye on her while you are down there."

His mind could care little on what pleased the mare as he had already inferred that she wasn't upon the level as his true masters...yet if it be their will...The spunk of Moonlight showed him a lot of things about the pony she was. It was like his mind was a huge processor of information, jotting down every detail for future use and construct....she may become a hinderance or even a problem in the future; however, he did not yet understand enough about the sudden rivalry to infer possible outcomes. The Sandpony's mask crackled from another breath as he nodded his head slowly to Charcoal before looking back to Moonlight in awaiting her lead.

Moonlight motioned the sand pony to follow her as she walks over to a sewer grate she places a hoof under chain she doesn't want to smash it and get it she then said "ok i can teleport both of us in there well i can try to i don't want to smash it and get in otherwise the Inqisition might go through it"

Charcoal nodded. "Follow her. Make sure she does her job right." Charcoal said to the odd pony before turning to Moonlight again. "And you, I want you to do your job correctly and find those ponies. We will meet back here when you find them." Charcoal said before changing her form to a regular run of the mill pegasus. "Get it done." Charcoal said before flying off and reaching her senses out and searched for any little bits of demonic energy.

Nodding to Moonlight with an annoyed breath, the Sandpony readied himself for apparent teleportation with the quick tempered pony. He heard the words of Charcoal before she left but did give an acknowledgement of her words. Only the demon lords could satiate his will...this moonlight character...It is a wonder whether or not she is qualified to act in the will of our lords...no matter, she will be used to advantage either way...

 

Manechilles

After mercilessly beating the helpless pony with his bare hooves, Manechilles moved on in boredom, still searching for the reason he had been brought back into this life. This apparent...hell, gave him little more than anger. The Earth-ridden kind and the pegasi living together as one...it was sickening. They were the ones responsible for the loss of the Storma youths that had him exiled till they were recovered. The proud stallion was no fool though...they were obviously dead. Flexing his mighty wings to test their strength after centuries of immovability, Manechilles grinned at the ponies fleeing from his powerful presence. That was where they belonged...in fear of his might. "Flee cowards! Thyselves aren't worthy of challenging a warrior of Storma! Et budali indocti!" he roared out. It was annoying him that he had no purpose.

The pony looked at Jacob, terrified. "Wha-! Where did you come from?" Letting out an exasperated breath, Jacob replies "That's my question exactly. One moment I'm perfecting a teleportation spell, next moment, I wind up here." The pony in front of him, seeing Jacob calm down, also calmed down a bit, sitting down and scratching his head with a hoof. "Right, well, I'm not sure what's going on either. A teleprotation spell you say? I and my team were working on perfecting that very same thing. You're in a lab. A spell lab. We're part of a larger organization called the...why am I telling you all this. Hmm." He stops and turns to one of his assistants. "You there, yes you! The intern! Go see if you can't get a hold of on of the head's of the inquisition. One of the princesses if possible. If not, then someone else, but be quick about it!"

The amulet appeared to gaze at Thunder. "Have I not  yet explained why you are here? You will see. All I can do is guide you onto the Greater Path, but from there you must make your own choices and decide your own path." The stallion stared at the amulet. "What do you mean?" "Go to the streets, but be wary of those who want to stop us." "Yes, I will. Thank you." The amulet dropped back into the box, lifeless. "What the hell is wrong with that thing. At least it gave me instructions this time." The pegasus hid the box safely and went down into the streets of Baltimare.

Charcoal felt it. It had only been for a split second, and very faint, but she felt a presence that was not of a normal pony. She flew around until she spotted a pegasus that, to her, looked a bit out of place. She landed behind him and walked up to him, keeping her disguise up. "Hey you. I need to have a word with you." Charcoal said to the pegasus.

The pegasus stallion, being partly famous, wasn't at all surprised somepony came up to him in the streets like this. Thunder looked at the mare and simply replied with "Sure, what do you need?" He had a small pause, then continued to talk. "Are you here for an autograph perhaps, or maybe..." Thunder thought for a second, remembering what the amulet said. Maybe this somewhat lovely mare has something to do with this "Greater Path" and "those who want to stop us." Could she know? How? Thunder Shred's head was swimming with questions, and sooner or later they would be answered.

Charcoal chuckled. "Come now, I've never seen you before in my life. But I do have something to ask you. Something that may be of great importance to you. And if you really are that confused I can answer a lot of those questions you have, but for now I have a simple question for you. Now answer honestly. Do you have any sort of magical amulet that was... well... did you get a strange amulet not long ago?"

Thunder looked surprised at the mare's knowledge of what was going on. "How did you know about the amulet? How did you know what I was thinking? More importantly, how could you not know who I am?" The brown stallion's head still had questions seething through it, but he forgot most of them. "Who are you?"

Charcoal chuckled. These ponies were so very easily impressed it was actually kind of amusing. "Who I am is not important for right now. All you need to know is that you need to come with me. I can answer any questions you have along the way and we can have a little chat as well."

At first he figured it was the smell of the sewers but the small shiver he felt tingling his spine said otherwise. Battling within his mind he followed it... steps and voices came closer to him and his instinct suggest him caution. He did not want to interrupt whatever was happening... yet he could resist the strange allure that this area had all of a sudden. It was not the nice kind of curiosity rather than a compulsive desire, something that could drive other people mad... he tried to keep himself down not making a sound and barely breathing enough as not to make noise. As if Fenix himself had understood the situation he cowered on his back and watched together with him toning down his brilliance to the bare minimum. He simply waited peeking ahead...

Anyway, if we can, I'd like to just play one more song, in case I'm getting into something I won't be returning from anytime soon."

But if it wasn't for that amulet we wouldn't be going." Charcoal said in slight annoyance. "Anyway, lets get going. Show me where your house is."

Thunder smiled softly upon hearing the mare. "Thank you. I just.. feel I need to do this." Thunder started walking towards his hotel down the street. "Oh, did I mention I'm not from here? I'm just staying in a hotel here. I was instructed to do so by him." The brown stallion continued walking down the street, towards the hotel, thinking about what his possibly last song should be.
