Silver dropped the three sticks he had been carrying with his magic and said "Oh hello. Didn't see you there." He recognized her. She was from the group. "So we're both lost huh?" He continued. "What encouraged you to come into the forest?" He thought for a moment and then decided that didn't really matter. "Well if we are both lost maybe we can help each other." He suggested. "My name is Silver. Well, at least thats the name i gave myself. What's yours?"

Silver decided to take this as an oportunity to multitask. While he was waiting for an answer, he slowly lifted another stick off the ground, follow by another. Practice makes perfect, so he just had to keep working on it.

Another person came in shortly after. After this person introfuced himself, Silver became a little puzzled. "Wait, you can't remember your original name either?" Now this didn't make sense at all. "Well, i gave myself the name "Silver" for my coat colour. It's nice to meet you Lionheart." Silver looked at the tan coloured pony again, who had yet to introduce herself. "Well, perhaps you two could give me a hand? I need to get these sticks, leaves and moss back to a cave so i can start a fire, but there's too much for me to carry in one trip with, or without magic..." he explained to them. "Would you be interested in helping?" Said Silver as one stick fell to the ground.

'Shoot. Lost my focus again' he thought to himself. But it was a good sign since the other two sticks were still in the air.

Sugarcube Corner was in sight. It was, quite possibly, the most delicious looking building in all of Ponyville. Ponies from all over Equestria were known to have traveled to Ponyville just to look upon the delicious looking structure and sample the popular sweets sold there. That would be the best place to take these new ponies for sure. The sweet aroma wafted through the crisp, clean air as they neared it. She inhaled deeply. Mmm, delicious! Cupcakes, parfait, strudles, pies, cakes...a sugartooth's paradise.

A yellow glow surrounded her horn only inches from the door. And to some of their surprises, the glow appeared around the door as it swung open, untouched by her. Magic. She trotted inside, her hooves clopping on the wooden floor. She spun around to face the open door and the ponies nearing it. "Welcome to Sugarcube Corner. Come on in, everypony, and indulge," she said with a wink.

She turned her attention to Mrs. Cake, a delightfully plump, blue pony with a pink mane. She was manning the front today, it seemed. Peach smiled kindly at her. "They're all with me. Just give me the total after they all pick out what they want."

"Well, of course!" Mrs. Cake exclaimed cheerfully. She was clearly very happy to see these new ponies. Potential future return customers. "Come in! Come in!"

Peach eyed the glass case. There were usually many, many apple flavored goodies in that case made only from the best apples from Sweet Apple Acres. Today, there were single cupcakes left...and they were smaller than normal. She thought this to be odd. She neared the front to mingle with Mrs. Cake whilst the other ponies picked out what sweets they'd be eating today. "There...aren't many ponies in here today," she said nodding towards the near empty case. "Was there a lunch rush or something?"

Mrs. Cake bit her lip. "We haven't been getting our usual apple deliveries lately, I'm afraid."

"Oh, is that so?" Peach raised a brow. It wasn't like the Apple family to...not deliver.

"You see," she leaned in, whispering the rest for fear of scaring the other ponies into leaving. "They lost half of their harvest." Her nervous eyes shifted. "Right when it was time to harvest them, they...all rotted. Just like that. Completely overnight!"

Odd indeed, she thought to herself as she held a sympathizing expression. Discord or a natural occurrence? Why would the apples just rot overnight? Who or what could do that but...him? She noticed her expression becoming worried and shook it off quickly and smiled over at the ponies as they tried to choose what sweets they'd be eating.

She watched as another one of the pony/horsey things appeared on the scene. Artsy recalled this one more vividly. His name... Lionheart? Yes, the darkly coloured one who bore some manner of accessories. Ponies with accessories... they wore clothes? But was it really necessary? Then again... she wasn't wearing clo-

No, no! Of course she was. She'd be utterly embarrassed if she was walking around in the nude around these two males! Vaguely, she wondered what it must be like to be... a male unicorn. Did they feel demasculated? Well, perhaps because they weren't always unicorns, they didn't know what they were? She wouldn't announce such thoughts in her mind, merely transfixed now by the fact that he was somehow making those sticks hover. Her dark eyes widened in surprise. What?! It appeared that the odd energy... was it... he called it magic! There was magic here?!

Feeling her excitement and fascination grow at this situation, she began to jump up and down in place.

"Did you say... magic?! Oh my. Magic... magic... how are you doing that?! Can I do it too?" She simply could not contain her vigorous burst of energy, and she felt something odd happen on her forehead. Some sort of gathering of... an energy that she had never felt before. To the others, her horn would start to glow with a crimson colour, as she let off an explosive burst of magic in the direction of Lionheart. Gasping in surprise at what she had done, she blushed. How in the world...?

"Sorry, sorry! I... was that me? Yes... um... my name's... what was that name I gave myself again... Ary... no... Artsy! Yes, that's me. Um. Um. I guess... I'll... ulp..." She stammered her way into silence, now staring down at the ground in a rather shy fashion.

Speed started to worry. Too many ponies were missing from the group. Did something bad happen to them? She asked herself. She needed some time to think, so she never entered the bakery. She just walked off in the opposite direction, wondering where they had gone. Are they dead? Are they lost? Were the questions she kept asking herself. She decided that there was only one thing to do, and that was look for them.

It took some time to navigate the town, but she finally made it back to the forest. Finding the spot where she had seen the silver unicorn go into the forest, she walked in. She only went forward, so she would not get lost. All the while she continued practicing flying, always landing on her feet, but falling out of the air after a few seconds. One last time she tried to fly, but something made her fall. Not too far away from her, there was a burst of light. She let a small scream as she fell right onto her face. Her nose started to bleed as she rolled over, closing her eyes...

As Electrobolt looked through the selection of sweets on display, he saw some pies. *I don't remember, but I think I vaguely remember having pies be---* he began to think until his eyes settled on a cherry pie. Suddenly his mouth began to water as he looked at the cherry pie, before his stomach growled, knocking him out of his trance. Noticing he was drooling, he wiped his mouth off using one of his legs as he grinned sheepishly once again, face turning a deep shade of red. *I... Don't know what came over me just now...* he thought, completely embarrassed now. "Um... I think I'll have a slice of cherry pie..."

All the sticks dropped to the ground as Silver jumped back surprised. One landed on his head comically, but he ignored it. The tan pony, who said her name was Artsy seemed to be very shy. "Hey don't worry about it. I discovered things like that on accident too, although not quite in such an, erm, explosive manner." He said to her. He walked over to Lionheart. "You okay? Not hurt are you?" He asked.

Suddenly there was a yell. Silver looked up towards where it came from and took off, worried about what had happened this time. Completely forgeting about the other 2 for a moment, he ran through the bushes until he came out to find another pony. Also from the group, Silver recognized this one. "Glory, pony's are turning up left and right. What's going on here?" He said. He noticed this one was a pegasus, and appeared to have fallen. Maybe she was scared by the blast.

Whatever happened, she was now lying on the ground, eyes closed. "Oh shoot. Hey you okay?" Silver hoped she was only unconcious, and not dead. Her nose was bleeding, which was a sign she had probably fallen. There was no way she could be dead. Not unless she fell from very high, which didn't seem very likely considering the tree cover. Still though, he worried for her. Maybe she was unconcious? He hoped that was all it was.

She snorted in slight amusement as the silver one dropped a stick on his head, but still felt the redness in her face residing. He seemed more competent with his abilities... it was something she felt silently jealous of, in spite of his consolations. Artsy attempted to think up a reply, but was thankfully taken away from this awkward situation by a loud scream of pain.

Wait. Thankfully?! Did she hurt someone?! Maybe her... explosion of energy... or magic as it were... had hit an actual human being! She went after the silver one, wanting to see if she could find a person in this odd land of ponies, but found herself both disappointed and feeling a little sick to her stomach as she discovered a bleeding pegasus sprawled on the ground. Was this her doing...? It appeared her eyes were closed... (she had been beginning to discover that the ponies with softer and rounder features, and... oddly enough, eye lashes, were female) Oh sweet God, she hoped she hadn't killed a pony. After all, ponies appeared to have sentience. It was like killing a person!

As she made her way back, she bumped into Silver who appeared to have been leaving to go back to presumably tell them, and pressed her ears shamefully to her head.

"I'm sorry... was that me? Was she hit by my blast?"

Hearing silvers response Lionheart swiftly added. "I too just happened to use them by accident. I was searching for your h...." But before he was finished an explosive spell of some sort that suddenly came from Artsy. He was hit and fallen back hitting a tree. :What the?" He was about to say why did you do that but he gathered from her expression that she didn't meant to do so.

His mane was now messed up and his back had a big scratch from hitting the tree but nothing major. He stood up and when Silver reached him he answered. "I am ok..nothing major happened.Just a scratch." He ended with subtly chuckle.

There was a crunch and a scream from nearby and sounded that came from a pony. Lionheart without losing a moment followed the rest that had already left. There was a female pegasus lying there, blood on her nose ans she was part of the group that were going toward the ponyville before he left them. "It seems another one wasn't so easy going with the situation. Weird how she found us Whoever...Wait no the explosion was a good give away."He said with relief actually glad he wasn;t the only one that walked with the other group and stopped to consider what the hay he was doing, unfortunately though she seemed unconcious.

"Gosh Artsy First time using your new found powers you kill someone.. I mean wow."He said making quite apparent that he was joking.

He suddenly jumped back. "Wow I just noticed......Why am I the only dressed one here. I mean sure it just a cape and a hat and some sort of undercape jacket for the front but it's still something. You are all well...naked." This made him feel confused It didn't really make any sense since he was certain he never wore such thing and pretty sure he didn't bought them from here."So what gives ?" He ended in a confused tone, raising an eyebrow.

Silver turned to see the others had turned up. He felt a little ashamed for leaving them there when he was the only one that knew how to get to the cave. So of course it was natural of them to follow him. "Don't worry Artsy, it was an accident. Besides, she couldn't possibly be dead right? The blast was a distance away." He said trying to reasure her.

Lionheart seemed to be a fairly sarcastic and humorous character, which Silver admired and admited to himself that was something he didn't have. At the comment of everyone being naked Silver looked at himself and the at the others. It didn't bother him too much, just made things a little awkward. The others probably won't be comfortable with it though. "Well we could just get to the village and get some clothes i guess." He started. "If anyone should know the way."

He looked at the pegasus lying on the ground. "Plus we need to help her out. Is she awake?"

Peach slinked over to Electrobolt while Mrs. Cake gladly retrieved a generous slice of cherry pie. She stood close to him, touching him as if personal space meant nothing to her (and it didn't in this current state), and nudged his shoulder gently. "It seems most of the lost ponies have managed to stray from the group," she said as she gestured her head behind them and then met his eyes. "It's not safe to be a pony all by your lonesome in the forests."

She sent a nod towards Mrs. Cake after she placed the pie in a box and pushed it toward Electrobolt. "Thank you," Peach said kindly. She tossed a bit onto the counter and smiled as her horn started to glow and sparkle again, the yellow haze surrounding the box as it lifted from the counter and flew effortlessly in front of her. It moved with her as she turned her flank to Electrobolt and eyed him. "I hope you don't mind eating on the run. I have a feeling if I don't head back now and find these other ponies something terrible will happen."

She looked ahead of her and began trotting out of the door, the box floating in front of her. That...or I won't be quite as brave as I am now in time. One ear flattened. Discord was mucking up things at a slower rate this time. No doubt, it was because he had something catastrophic in store for Equestria this time and needed to gain more power to do it. She had to make it back before her her body would not let her. Reason hit her for a moment. This many ponies...with...amnesia? Her yellow eyes turned to Electrobolt and narrowed as she tried desperately to piece it together in her head while the clever personality still had control. Some of them sounded as if they...made up their names on a whim.

"We have much to talk about on the way there," she suddenly spoke to him as she headed to her cart and slipped into the reins, leading it out into the open and back onto the dirt road. The box floated in front of Electrobolt and opened, the pie levitating out of the box inches from his mouth. "You might want to go ahead and eat this on the way. A hungry pony is a worthless pony," she added. Her tone was serious but her little wink sugar coated her words nicely as they headed back down the road.

Electrobolt looked around when Peach mentioned some ponies had gone away from the group and began to think, *Where did they---* However, his train of thought crashed when she brought up the forest. *The forest near where we woke up...?* He shook his head as she began to walk out on her own. Not wanting to be left behind, he quickly followed.

*Talk? Talk about what?* he thought, before he noticed the pie levitating in front of his face. He didn't know how she was doing it, but he didn't question what was happening as he simply responded, "Yeah... And... Thank you for paying for the pie..." He slowly started to eat the cherry pie, walking down the road together. *Wait... I just realized...* he thought, still chewing on his bite of pie. *I'm actually walking, without tripping! I think I'm getting used to my new body now!*

Crystal Flame, who had been lost n thought as he had aimlessly followed the group, blinked twice rapidly, wondering where he was now, before realizing that they had all gone into a sort of sweets shop, one he was sure he had passed before when exploring. Jeez, I need to pay attention to my surroundings. Well, it was too late for that now-all he could do was pretend he HAD been paying attention. Following the group out of the store, he tried to catch up with the conversation. The only thing he got out of it was that a few ponies had ended up in the forest, or something like that. Well, it's rather useless hanging around here, ain't it? He decided to go back into the forest in order to look for the others some pony up in the group-he hadn't remembered which one-had said were there. I just can't focus when there's nothing to do. Time to put my mind to a task.

Clearing his mind of the random thoughts and questions floating in it, he quickly overtook the group. "I'll look for the others you guys said we lost track of. Don't want anybody to get lost and starve to death, right?" He headed towards the entrance he had used to enter Ponyville just hours ago, heading back towards the forest.

Cole munched on his cupcake, closing his eyes in bliss. This tastes good. he thought. It needs a little bit of cinnamon, though. "This cupcake is great. You did an amazing job." he said out loud to Mrs. Cake.

Serah had been left behind quite some while ago. After the pony known as Peach had ignored Serah's request, Serah hadn't bothered following the group anymore. She'd decided to stay behind and wake herself up.

"Not as easy as it sounds." she pinched herself, feeling the light sting. Her surroundings didn't change. "This is ridiculous. No dream can be this vivid. Maybe I'm not actually..."

She shook her head forcefully.

"No. I am dreaming. Nothing here is possible." Serah looked up at the pegasi flying above her. "Horses can't fly."

Serah closed her eyes in concentration. As she did so, the horn on her head began to glow with a red light. The light began to envelope her body in red heat, and flames licked at her coat and mane as she was lifted up into the air. She opened her eyes and saw that she was now floating a foot above the ground.

"Horses can't fly. This is a dream." Serah smirked, maintaining her focus on the basic levitation spell she was casting.

"Ahh, that was a great slice of chocolate pie, wish I could get a slice of apple pie, hmm, should I try my magic again? I guess it would be alright," then his horn made it's characteristic orange glow and began charging a beam that grew bigger "Ahh, oh no!" then he released it on to the sky, exploding into an assortment of vibrant colors, "Eh? I did it again." Arty was just outside near the entrance to Ponyville, he told Peach he'll be out there, "Great, they'll find out it's me, now I'm bored", then he saw a stick on the ground, "Hmm, should I draw on the ground?" He tried to use his hoof, then he resorted to using his magic to hold the stick and actually made a great picture on the soil, and that's when he found out why he had that kind of cutie mark on his flank "Hey, now I remember what I love doing, drawing!"

And then the white unicorn continued drawing pictures on the ground till he saw a group of ponies trotting on the same road "Eh? Who are these ponies?" he thought, looking in the distance.

Peach was well aware that her group of tourist ponies had split a couple different ways. She took solace in the fact that at least her group broke away in Ponyville. At least those lost ponies would be surrounded by other helpful ponies in town.

"You're welcome," she said as she looked halfway behind her at Electrobolt, then past him. It seemed Cole had strayed too. She squinted. It would be a shame to lose him from the group as well. She let out a breath and looked forward again silently hoping Cole might catch up to them. The constant creeking of the cart's wheels behind her made it hard to speak. She waited as if they'd stop, but as long as they tread on, they would not.

"So..." She began until interrupted by a rather loud fireworks display in the sky. Normally her or one of her more passive personalities would have been startled, but this case was almost obvious. It must have been one of the new unicorns trying out their magic...and failing at it. She sighed and shook her head. She'd, no doubt, come up on the culprit soon enough.

There was silence again. Peach swallowed before finally speaking. "Electrobolt," she began with a hesitant tone. "I find it very...strange that a large group of ponies such as yourselves can have no memory of knowing each other, your names, or your life before this. That many cases of amnesia all in one spot is well...almost impossible. It's not natural." Her eyes connected with Electrobolt. "Is there something you're not telling me?" She asked him bluntly. This was something she needed to know. She needed details. Anything to help shed light on this strange occurrence.

Out of the corner of her eye she noticed a pony on the road in the distance. This must have been the one that lit up the sky.

Electrobolt was about to take another bite of cherry pie, but stopped once Peach spoke to him. Slowly backing his head away from the pie, he thought, *So she knows something's not right... Didn't she say something about this "Discord" thing earlier too? Maybe it'll have some answers...* He finally sighed, clearing his head of his current thoughts. "I..." he started. "I don't remember much... But I... I..." He then stopped mid-sentence and hung his head low. He finally said, "I... Doubt you'd believe me if I told you..." *What would she say if I told her I wasn't a pony at first...?* was one of the thoughts going through his mind right now. *What would she do? Would she leave me behind? I... I don't know...*

Speed finally opened her eyes, noticing the ponies. Were they watching me sleep? Speed asked herself, embarrassed. Speed slowly got up off the ground. The ponies with her were three other ponies from the group. "H- hi..." Speed started. She took a deep breath and tried again. "Hi, I've been looking for you guys. Are you lost? I've been worried somethings happened to you. Speed noticed something. They were all unicorns, she was a pegasus. She was different. Would they think of her badly? One of them had obviously created that explosion... was it on purpose?

Silver let out a faint sigh of relief. "Your okay. We heard you yell and came running." He said to her. "You were looking for us? Well i'm afraid you may find its difficult to get out of here once you are in." Silver explained. "There's no way to tell how to get out." He looked at her nose, which had some blood on it. "Were you flying? Looks like you hit your head." He said. Silver was a little concerned. If magic could be dangerous like this, what would happen if those with evil intentions got hold of it?

"Maybe you should come back to the cave i found with us." Silver started. "Its probably about to get dark and you probably don't want to be stuck out here at night." He looked behind him at the others. He wondered how they would feel about this newcomer.

He hoped Artsy wasn't to upset about all this. She seemed to be the kind to worry. And lionheart, he would probably think of something humorous to say. From what Silver had seen so far he was a fun guy to be around. What was this new persons personality like? He shrugged it off for the moment and focused on the pegasus again.

If she had pulled her ears back anymore, she could've sworn that they would've fallen off and her entire face would've burst into flames from how red it was. Thinking about her uncontrollable magic, she was sure that this was probably possible. So she tried to calm down. Then she heard Lionheart's comments, and not hearing the sarcasm in them (for she was one who had often missed sarcasm), took offense to them. The naked comment only made the redness in her face return as she unconsciously clenched her tail between her back legs.

And then there was that pegasus that had woken up... not knowing that she had done it. Once again, she felt the stress building within her and a mass gathering of energy to her forehead. It was so warm... to the others, it would be glowing red again. Though Silver had tried to reassure her, she had felt it was the last straw. This situation was getting very tiring.

"Ex-excuse me! I... I don't know what I'm doing, you know? I'm... I'm a... pony thing and I'm stuck in this WEIRD PLACE! And... and... apparently now I have magic! It's too colourful, and girly! Ugh... it makes me sick to think about what I even look like! Not only that, but Ponyville. Seriously, Ponyville? What kind of name for a place is that? I just... aarrrggh...!" The feeling on her forehead continued to intensify, as the glow became larger and larger, her horn crackling ominously... until she released another massive burst into some nearby bushes. The burst was powerful enough to make her recoil several inches away. Having had enough of this and being completely mortified from doing it again, she turned tail and fled away from the others, further off into the distance before disappearing...

____

GROOOAOOARORORR!

A collection of loud snarls suddenly pierced the skies, as the singed bushes where Artsy had let off a burst of magic rustled. Several wolf-like creatures protruded from them, with ominous glowing yellow eyes and bodies that appeared to have been made of a... wooden material. Their bodies ears would made of twigs, and their fangs of sharp bark. The wolf pack had taken offense to their home being disturbed, and bore their fangs ominously at the ponies that they had perceived as threats. Though they had no fur, their wooden bodies appeared somewhat... sharpened in a similar way that actual wolves had bristled themselves.

The leader of the pack let out a loud howl, and proceeded to dash towards what it had perceived to be the weakest member of their group; the bleeding pegasus. The others soon followed...

Then he found out that it was Peach looking at him, "Hey! What are you doing?" she called out, he got intimidated a bit, "Eh? I'm sorry! Just testing out my magic," he replied, "Sigh, I just hope you don't cause a ruckus," "Don't worry, won't happen again!" Just then he sensed something wrong, "Huh? What's going on?" then he decided to check it out, "Heeey! Where you going?" She yelled out, "Sorry! I sensed something, be right back!" "Sigh, please be okay,"

Arty galloped his way through the woods till he bumped into another pony, not knowing it was a female one at first, "Aaack! I-I'm so sorry! Are you okay? Eh? You look familiar," He tried to figure out who this pony was, then when she regained her senses and saw the white unicorn, he pointed at her and said "You! Who are you? You look like...your naked! Oh wait! I'm naked too! I forgot, Ehhhh! Your a girl? I'm so sorry for my rude comments!" He then proceeded to bow down his head in shame, but hit his head in the process.

He then proceeded to bow down his head in shame, but hit his head in the process.

(The talking for me is kinda confusing me. I'll handle my end. :) No worries.)

The sudden encounter with Arty almost sent Peach's thoughts in another direction...almost anyway. No! This is of the atmost importance! She reminded herself silently, giving her head a quick shake.

She grew slightly frustrated that she wasn't being answered right away and stopped in her tracks, her front right hoof giving a quick dig to the cobble and dirt beneath it. Her eyes were fixed on the road, intense, and serious. "What are you? Where did you come from?" She asked, making sure to not let too much of her frustration detour him from answering her. "This is crucial, Electrobolt."

Her eyes met him again. Something wasn't right with these new ponies. She needed to know if she should help them or fear them. She didn't know who they were or where they came from. For all she knew, they could have been sent here by Discord. Though, it didn't seem like his style to do something of that sort, but he was capable of anything. I would not put it past him to switch it up a little bit to put everypony into a fit of confusion, she thought.

There was silence as Electrobolt gazed back at her, nervously. The half eaten slice of pie floating beside him, still being held there by her magic. Her body relaxed. If only she could see herself. I probably look so...so...accusing right now. She was. Her stare was a bit too...forward. A bit too aggressive. She turned as much as she could toward Electrobolt. The cart's wheels dug in the dirt as she pulled them sideways to meet him. Her ears lowered as did her head. Her golden yellow eyes softer now. "Please, Electrobolt, tell me all that you know. All that you can remember. It's okay," she assured him.

Her ears suddenly perked at the eerie sound of Timber Wolves crying out hungrily into the forest. ...Hungry...the forest...the... She gasped. The ponies! The other ponies had traveled aimlessly into the darkness of the forest. Peach's expression grew with urgency as she awaited his answer.

"GROOOAOOARORORR"

Serah heard the howl all the way back in Ponyville. The sound knocked her out of concentration, and she unceremoniously fell to the ground as her levitation spell dissipated around her.

"Sounds like wolves, but, not quite. Too sinister. Discord's army, maybe?"

Serah still didn't know what was going on, but she now had a target for her ever-present aggression. She charged towards the direction the sound came from, as fast as her two hooves could take her.

Electrobolt gulped nervously, still worried about what she might say if he told Peach what he really used to be before. Sighing in defeat, he finally spoke up, "I... I used to... Be a human... The last thing I can recall is... I got close to some strange crack, and... Here I am..." *Why did I say that?* he scolded himself in his thoughts. *Now what will she do with me??? She's probably gonna think I'm insane...*

Silver was completely understanding about how frightened Artsy was. She had been through the same thing and obviously had a hard time handling it all. But he certainly wasn't expecting what happened next. She dashed out into the forest without a second though! "Artsy, wait! It's dangerous to go alone!" He began to run after her, but was interupted by a loud roar.

He whirled around to see these strange wooden wolf-like creatures coming out of the bushes. He felt the blood beginning to pound in his ears as he saw them look at the pegasus on the ground. they smell the blood. They're just like wolves back at home. He thought quickly. Suddenly they began to charge at the young pegasus. Silver looked over his shoulder to where Artsy had run one last time. He jumped in front of the wolf as it was hurling itself towards her. What the heck are you doing?? You have no form of defense! He thought to himself.

The wolf lept on him, trying to sink its teeth into him. It landed a bit on his shoulder, and Silver yelled. His horn suddenly glowed and he suddenly remembered one thing the other pony he met from earlier had done. He aimed at an openin gin the tree tops and fired a flare, a fire work, into the sky, hoping some one would notice it. The other wolves weren't charging anymore, but they were still approaching. Silver was wirling around, trying to get the timber wolf off him. His shoulders screamed with pain though, as the wolf held its grip on him. He began shaking, anger building up inside him.

There was no way he was going to get himself killed here. Dream or no dream, this would NOT turn into a nightmare. Not as long as he was breathing. "Enough!!" He yelled. And right then his horn gleamed red and a blast of fire shot out and smashed into one of the approaching wolves. The wolf was howling as it burned. Of course! They are made from wood, which makes them highly flamable! Silver thought. But there were too many of them, and the one wolf was still clinging to him. There was no way he could focus long enough to hit them all with a fire ball.

He turned towards the pegasus who seemed to still be recovering. "You need to get out of here! Go find help!" He called to her as he wrestled with the wolf. He turned his attention back to the wolf on his back, hoping she would do what he asked. An idea dawned on him. If he could concentrate just for a moment... He tried his hardest to focus on a large rock on the ground. It slowly lifted off the ground. Nearly dropping it several times before, he ignored the pain as the wolf continued trying to bite his neck, and kept struggling to prevent it from doing so.

Finally, he hurled the rock at the wolf on his back. It landed a direct hit right to the snout! He stumbled as the weight of the wolf came off him, but he didn't hesitate to point his horn at it. He focused what energy he had left in his horn, and launched another fireball at the wolf he had just knocked off his back. The wolf caught fire and let out a howl as it bolted into the trees and bushes.

Blood coming from his shoulder, he was exhausted, but there were still many more timber wolves around, and he didn't have enough energy to use another fire ball. All he could do now was hope that some one had seen his flare. He stumbled to the ground, breathing hard. Another wolf was charging at him. He pulled himself to his feet and pointed his horn at this wolf. He tried to summon another fire ball, but he just didn't have the energy. But apparently this wolf wasn't too bright. The wolf tried to slow down but it was already in the air from jumping it landed right on Silvers' horn. But the sudden weight still took him to the ground. Silver lay on the ground panting with this wolf lying on otp of him.

He felt himself slipping away from conciousness, slowly losing sight of everything. He just hoped that help would show up, for the other pony's sake.
