"Take my love. Take my land. Take me where I cannot stand. I don't care. I'm still free. You can't take the sky from me.

Take me out, to the black. Tell my ma I ain't coming back. Burn the land and boil the sea, you can't take the sky from me."

for the past year, there has been an investigation going on, gathering evidence that conditions in North Korea are comparable to atrocities committed by the Nazi's during world war two.

It's been over 60 years. what took them so fucking long?

The Fact that North Korea wouldn't allow anyone from the U.N. to investigate and if they tried without their permission is would cause an international incident and North Korea could easily have the investigation and any evidence dismissed because it was obtain illegally.

when it comes down to crimes against humanity you cant just dismiss it. the only way they can get out of this one is if North Korea actually changes the way they run things somewhat for a period of time. and if they go back to their ways then they'll be tried and there will be no second chances.

The only main reason N K has survived this long is that they still have allies. Just like the shithead in class - nobody's going to walk up and punch him in the face as long as at least one person is going to use that as an excuse to start a fight with you. I think China's really the only big one, but through some negotiations, they might certainly allow a U.N. investigation, or, failing that, some type of invasion.

I know we absolutely advocate the avoidance of war in any way, but it's sadly difficult to say whether a 3 or 4-year war against a brittle regime would have worse effects than just decades more of the same way of life in North Korea.

Noooo! North Korea is going to get so mad and drop 50 H-Bombs everywhere! Well, finally! They deserve this.

I've always said that North Korea is like Panem if it were run by Dr. Evil. Which sounds funny at first, but then you remember that it's all real.

These days it might even be worse than Panem. At least they don't have these nightmarish prison camps, nor do they execute people for watching South Korean tv.

Unfortunately the UN doesn't have any leverage against North Korea other than china but we know whose side they will take. China only supports them because they get oil from them. that means the only peaceful way to end the regime, is to wait for them to tap out, and isolate them till they are on their knees begging. even then since they have nukes they can threaten us like they have in the past for money and resources. If we go to war we end up risking fighting with china. even if they stay out of it, the North Korean populace will fight for their leader to the death because that is what they believe, that they were born to do. That means that the majority of the nation could die because they like the Japanese during world war two will throw everything they've got at us till the end. The worst part of all is the first thing that North Korea will do is blast Seoul (the capital of South Korea) off the map. Millions of innocent people on either side, dead just like that.

We can't touch them without China's cooperation, or they will cut an ugly scratch into this earth, one bigger than they already have. North Korea is an ugly scab that if you dare touch, the 4 year old it belongs to will make you regret you even offered band aids and ointment.
