Okay! There are a lot of apps for me to look over already when I get home - but I'm noticing more Stallions than Mares. On that note, just mentioning that applications for mares would be more appreciated right now.

 

Obviously if we get loads of applications we can't take everyone along: and I want some semblance of balance between genders at least.

 

So! Favouring mare applications if possible - and I'll get some responses out when I can!

PWD - I love Fiera but don't see what being an Alicorn adds to her character other than putting her above others as a princess - wouldn't she work just as well as a pegasus?

 

Biscuit - I actually really like the concept of Lux (He's a lot like another character of mine actually), but I don't think his race will work. (Same reason I'm not using Atheia)

 

Gloom - I know Bayonet of course, just keep Shiv toned down a little? Nothing drastic, just noting that she can be a bit hostile (which is one of the reasons I think she'll be great - just nothing violent.)

She is Alicorn by race, but Pegasus by function. She isn't royalty anyway.

 

You read her backstory, right? Her horn snapped off, and she was kept from the royal life.

That is an excuse, she is still an alicorn. That and horns grow back.

There has only been one alicorn I have accepted outside of canon, one I feel had a properly explained reason to be there and justified for existing, that being Nyx of Past Sins.

The last thing you want in an RP is an alicorn mosh pit. Especially when there is only one character 'Above' the rest. We all know that the show designers were Nazis when creating races and concept ideas. This is my opinion, it means nothing to anyone else.
