Dddrgn 450 February 26, 2014 Share February 26, 2014 I'm waiting for titanfall and Elder Scrolls Online. The only big deterrent is the 15 dollars a month AFTER paying a large sum of money for the game, but I'll see if it's worth it in the next beta, I got invited because of some issues I had with the launcher not running properly, preventing me from playing the last beta. Cstriker 737 February 26, 2014 Share February 26, 2014 Thief looks pretty nice, I might get it. comes out in four days here. I already preordered The Elder Scrolls Online, I'm a huge fan of all the previous games and can't wait to see whether making the gameplay experience online totally mucks up the franchise or makes it even bigger. A friend of mine told me to check out Titanfall, it just reminds me of Crysis 2 with bad graphics (and honestly the graphics were the only thing that even made that game in the first place). I'll look out for The Division, never heard of it before. I beta tested the game. The graphics are good and are going to be better on all the systems...it was beta. The gameplay was fresh and I was skeptical too...VERY fun game. Titanfall is a very fun game, and the point of games is to have fun. I'm waiting for titanfall and Elder Scrolls Online. The only big deterrent is the 15 dollars a month AFTER paying a large sum of money for the game, but I'll see if it's worth it in the next beta, I got invited because of some issues I had with the launcher not running properly, preventing me from playing the last beta. Also beta tested Elder Scrolls. Not as pretty as Skyrim, and feels REALLY MMO like in a bad way. Its almost backwards. Long distances between objectives for quests, way to expensive horses, 11th imperial race is behind a pay wall (have to get collectors edition to unlock them, thats BS as it is content already in the game), reminds me of WoW crossed with Guildwars, its been done before...its an MMO with a hint of elder scrolls in it. 1 Fashionably Camouflaged

Retro*Derpy 3,819 February 27, 2014 Share February 27, 2014 Titanfall looks really good, if I have some spare change I plan on getting it. Watch Dogs is another game that has caught my attention, going to watch some walkthough before I buy it though just to make sure I want it. I'm currently in the Project Spark beta and it is really fun, excited for the full game release. Same with Rust.

Revy ~ Two Hands 862 February 27, 2014 Share February 27, 2014 Just got hammerwatch. It's a roguelike in the vein of gauntlet. It's pretty cool, got multiplayer too. I also got my eye on some sci-fi roguelike called sword star: the pit. Or something like that. Waited forever for cool roguelikes on steam now we got a bunch coming out

Koelath 445 February 27, 2014 Share February 27, 2014 (edited) I already preordered The Elder Scrolls Online, I'm a huge fan of all the previous games and can't wait to see whether making the gameplay experience online totally mucks up the franchise or makes it even bigger. Considering TES is all about being some big important prophesied hero, I imagine having 27 other such heroes would rather spoil the atmosphere. Plus its very nature as an MMO means the world will not be anywhere close to par with the single-player installments for sheer immersion and epicness. I got beta access and it's all just really empty and bland outside of PVP sieges (which are pretty great). It's not worth $15 a month but then, no MMO has ever been worth a monthly fee of any kind. They were pretty dense to use a dying business model... Plus the Imperials (a basic TES race) are behind a paywall, horses are inexcusably expensive considering the sheer size of this (far too empty) land (depends on how quickly money is gathered though), and...Honestly, it's just not TES. It's any old MMO (and I do mean old MMO, as some of its mechanics do seem outdated) with a lower-quality Skyrim skin draped over it. They clearly tried...You can see various TES systems kinda clumsily melded with the online systems of the MMO genre. But...Honestly, it just made me want to play Skyrim. Plus, I only paid $60 for Skyrim and am still far from ever running out of things to see (I prefer emergent stories rather than following the Godzilla-Messiah plotline written out for me - just wander and let a whole new story emerge naturally). For $15 a month, no MMO offers enough, and certainly not enough to live up to TES standards. If I want an MMO, I'll still go for TERA because it provides a great world (visually) to play in. TESO is in Tamriel but it might as well be in Generic Fantasy Land because all of the epicness is gone. I'll grab Assassins' Creed 4 because it's the best Sid Meier's Pirates sequel ever (and unlike everyone who now hates the series due to overblown expectations, I still like it). And Infamous: Second Son because Infamous was the reason I bought a PS3 way back and Infamous 2 provided some of the most powerful, immersive, and devastating moments I've seen in a game. Plus it's just a badass IP. Also Watch Dogs because...Do I even need to explain it? Edited February 27, 2014 by Koelath

Taviscratch 453 February 27, 2014 Share February 27, 2014 (edited) I like anything where it looks like the creators were passionate about there game and so I'd have to say Watchdogs. They care so much about making their game as good as possible they held it back to tweak it, losing it's launch title status. Not many companies would do that, they'd release an unfinished product. Most of what's coming out looks pretty uninspired to be honest. Titanfall, for instance, is a game which is fun as dicks but you can tell that it was churned out in order just to make a mainstream game which will fly off shelves...much like every Call of Duty. Edit: Also Project Spark looks absolutely awesome! Edited February 27, 2014 by Taviscratch Sig by [member=~TheGammy~]
