It seems like I ultimately have no preference for it highly depends on context of song. For instance I'm automatically turned away from rap songs about money, sex and weed but I may enjoy rap song about WWI; I don't have a particular interest in rap to be clear, is just example.

Some people at school (back when I was in public school) were saying it's stupid and shit. Then I met a guy who liked it. I wasn't really being a jerk to him, just absolutely unreasonable. Tried out the show soon afterwards and loved it.
