For quite the time, Shuppet has shown all on her own to space out. Along with the fact after just finding a shiny Poke on the ground as well made her more off-task as well. Finally, she had turned right around, smiling ever so happily.

 

"OK, guys! I'm ready to go! What about y-- Guys?"

 

She looked around, immediately shocked at how she was completely alone within the area, a little disheartened. "Oddish? Froakie? Cottonee?! Where did ya all go?! Are we playing hide-and-seek before we explore?!" She called out, obviously getting no answer back from anything. Did they abandon her right on the spot? Wasn't that rude.

 

"They must have left already... Poo. I wish they had told me right then. Like..." Suddenly, it looked as if her lower lip was quavering, before quickly shaking her head. 

 

"No! Now's not the time for sad things! I'm about to go into my first mystery dungeon, all on my own!" Shuppet exclaimed, hovering happily towards the entrance. "Maybe I can catch up with everyone else in there! Time to explore~"

 

And on that note, Shuppet had delved inside of the cave, much oblivious to what she would expect...

Dedenne had expected the Starlys to wake up from his attack, but absolutely did not expect them to start attacking each other in confusion.  This particularly tickled his funny bone, and so the little round mouse rocked back on his body in a fit of giggles.  Doing so, however, left him vulnerable long enough to be struck by a double peck attack, sending the electric mouse tumbling away a few feet and leaving him with two nasty beak bruises.

 

"Oof!"  He exhaled, landing on his stomach after the short tumble.  The attacks weren't very effective, but Dedenne's defense stats were naturally low so the pecks still dealt some damage.  He probably shouldn't have left his guard down, and a pink blush of embarrassment began to spread from his nose to his cheeks.  "Hey...that wasn't very nice..."  He said, tone filled with hurt.  Dedenne's eyes began to water, and he added a sniffle for added affect.  "I'm sorry for hurting you two...can you please forgive me?"  His eyes widened just enough to complete the Charm attack, which Dedenne hoped would calm the Starlys enough to leave an opening for an attack, either by himself or one of his new teammates.

"Hush" Growlithe said trying to make the Gothita. He looked back at his team trying to see if they were doing anything.
"Come on, please forgive me if I did anything to make you cry" He was unsure how to deal with a crying pokemon. -I didn't do anything!- he thought to himself.
"Please stop crying" He said lowering his guard around this pokemon, trying to show he was peaceful. (He doesn't know about the move fake tears)

"Ahhh!"  Vulpix had no chance of avoiding the Swift attack since the move never missed, and she fell back under the barrage of stars.  "Oh, now that was rude!"  With an agitated huff Vulpix picked herself back up, in time to watch Ledyba launch the Silver Wind at Cottonee...  Who seemed to be cowering with her back turned.

 

The little fire fox reacted without thinking, leaving a small streak in the air behind her as she uses Quick Attack to race to Cottonee's side before the attack would hit.  The bug type attack wouldn't hurt her as badly as it would the shy grass type, and so Vulpix did the first thing she could.  She shoved Cottonee out of the way, shouting "Watch out!" as the Silver Wind knocked her aside.

 

"Owww..."  Growling quietly as she picked herself back up, Vulpix looked at the Ledyba defiantly before rushing at the bug Pokemon with her Quick Attack.  "You REALLY shouldn't try to pick on my new friends like that!"

"Ahhh!" Cottonee suddenly felt herself get knocked to the side and looked over just in time to see Vulpix take a Silver Wind for her. Oh my... B-but she barely knows me! How could she do something like that for useless old me? Cottonee watched as Vulpix fought defiantly for the team and Dedenne trying to lower the guard of the Starlys. I... I need to do seomthing! I may be weak, but they need all the help they can get!  Cottonee started flapping her little leaf flap things and a pink tinted breeze started to pick up. It suddenly got more like a gust of wind, and she fired it at anything she could. I... I did something! But... Oh it'll barely help! I'm better just staying out of the way before someone else gets hurt because of me...

Narrow Cave, Floor 1

 

Shuppet managed to stumble into the Mystery Dungeon all alone. Despite the fact Oddish had originally planned to go through it alone, claiming it to be easy, Shuppet didn't stand much of a chance. Oddish was much more experienced than Shuppet, after all.

 

The room Shuppet found herself in wasn't exactly the best introduction. Three pokemon were in it. Gothita, Starly, and Wurmple. All of which immediately noticed Shuppet. They looked ready to attack. Right beside Shuppet, a visible clump of dirt seemed tampered with.

At Dedenne's Charm, both of the Starly were taken a back, hovering in the spot trying to figure out what was happening. One, proceeding with caution, tried to continue the attack, while the other remained flying on one spot.

 

Meanwhile, Vulpix's attack easily knocked out an already crippled Ledyba. However, before she could acknowledge her surroundings, Vulpix was hit by a Fairy Wind. The attack coming from Cottonee. 

 

Excluding the trio, the Starly were the only ones who remained. Oddish was gone as well...

As Growlithe was trying to console Gothita, she suddenly got up, hitting Growlithe across the snout with Double Slap. Twice.

Dedenne prepared himself for what was to come as one of the Starlys came after him yet again.  This time, though, he had a plan to carry through with.

 

"Aww, nene, thank you for forgiving me!"  Dedenne cried out, running and then leaping to meet the Starly head-on in midair.  However, Dedenne dodged its beak and instead went in for a hug, clinging to the foot-tall bird and then grounding the both of them.  Next he proceeded to Nuzzle the bird Pokemon "affectionately", keeping up the act in hopes of hiding his true intentions from the other Starly.  "Now we can be beeeest frieeeendss!"  Dedenne made sure he discharged the paralyzing electricity from his cheeks into the Starly with his Nuzzle attack; that should even the odds.

Growlithe was a little shocked that the Gothita attacked him and used his own kind heart against him, but that shock quickly turned into anger. He took a step back from the Gothita and raised his head. Building up strength in his lungs he let out a roar to send the Gothita flying. He remember the hoppip sleeping near by. -better safe than sorry- he thought to himself.

turning to the Hoppip he let out an ember attack.

Vulpix allowed herself a small smile of satisfaction as she knocked out the Ledyba, but before she knew what was happening she was picked up by the pink wind.  "Wha - ahhhh!"  She was thrown a short distance before crashing back down to the floor, groaning as she looked around at what hit her.  She was starting to not feel very well - the fairy attack hadn't been all that effective against her, but it was the third hit she'd taken...  They were starting to add up.

 

As she turned her head to see the pink wind coming from Cottonee, Vulpix winced and sighed quietly.  Oh, lovely...  "Cottonee, darling, please stop!"  Vulpix starts to pick herself back up from the floor, shaking her head to try and keep her thoughts clear.  "It's...  It's okay, sweetie, we got the Ledyba!  Let's help Dedenne, hmm?"

Right as Shuppet had entered the Mystery Dungeon, she had thought this would be a breeze. Her first Mystery Dungeon and she had overheard this was just 3 floors? Easy-peas-- ...OK, let's take that back now.

 

Eeek! I thought this was easy! And all of a sudden, there's a bunch of Pokemon here! What do I do?! Uh... Um, OK! Let's go with what Mommy told me before. She told me that I need to stay calm... Close my eyes... And focus on my opponents! OK, OK! I'll just take in a deep breath... And--

 

"Hey! What's this weird patch of dirt here? *gasp* Maybe it's treasure! Or, or! Some secret map! Or even treasure!" The extremely ADHD-hindered Shuppet yelled, immediately moving quite close towards this odd patch... Poor Shuppet. She couldn't even tell what would be good to her.

The already damaged Starly immediately fainted from the Nuzzle attack. While maybe not Dedenne's intent, it was certainly a positive outcome. The other Starly was quite shocked by this, and looked about ready to flee. But instead of doing so, it noticed a new target. Vulpix made more sense to hit, really, as she seemed hurt. The Starly's wings began to glow white, and a crest of the same glow formed around it's beak. It easily hit Vulpix.

 Gothita was flung back into depths unseeable. There was a muffled thud sometime later. She couldn't be too far away. Hoppip immediately woke up, only to be hit by an Ember. Clearly annoyed, Hoppip threw a Fairy Wind at Growlithe.

As the pokemon in the room were readying their attacks of hyper beams, giga impacts, and the like, Shuppet began to glow white. Turns out Shuppet had stepped on a Warp Trap. She spun around, before eventually finding herself in another room. No pokemon were in this room, but the stairs to the next floor were! How fortunate.

Vulpix was still trying to catch her breath as Starly hit her with Aerial Ace, knocking the little fire fox back against the wall of the dungeon.  "Ahhhh!"  As she smacked into the wall Vulpix slowly slid down to the ground, her eyes shutting.  She briefly tries to pick herself back up, but her legs didn't seem to respond the way she wanted and she found herself unable to bear her own weight.

 

"Ou...  Ouch..."  Vulpix's chin hits the floor as her vision starts to fade, the chain of hits she'd taken starting to be too much for her to take.  "I'm...  Sorry, darlings...  Turns out I'm just...  Slowing you down..."  And here I thought...  I could actually join an exploration team...  Here I am failing in the first room of the dungeon...

 

Vulpix has fainted.

Nuzleaf emerged from the hallway, having found it to hold no hidden treasures, to find Growlithe fighting off two wild pokemon. The fool had gone and woken them up. No matter.

 

Nuzleaf's leaf on his head began to glow a bright white, and he whipped his head arround, casting his powerful-looking Razor Wind at the offending Hoppip. He was determined to keep his distance, though, that thing evidently knew fairy moves.

With the Gothita gone for the moment he focused on the hoppip. As he was about to use ember again on the hoppip he noticed Nuzleaf appear from the hall he went down. bad move, he got hit by the Fairy wind. -that hurt- he quickly took several steps back from the hoppip. 
"Where are you been? I may look strong, but I can't fight forever. Cover me for a moment" he stood still and began to draw in the light from the sun. He glowed a bit as he felt the sun's light enter his body.
